Antoine Semenyo incarne un parcours singulier dans le football anglais. Né à Londres en 2000, il connaît très tôt les refus des centres de formation londoniens avant de mettre son rêve professionnel entre parenthèses. C’est par un chemin détourné, via des programmes scolaires sportifs, qu’il parvient finalement à intégrer l’académie de Bristol City en 2017.  Après la signature de son premier contrat professionnel, Semenyo découvre le football senior à travers plusieurs prêts dans les divisions inférieures anglaises, de Bath City à Newport County, puis Sunderland. Ces expériences forgent son jeu et son mental. De retour à Bristol City, il s’impose progressivement comme un élément clé, gagnant en régularité et en impact offensif en Championship.  Son arrivée à Bournemouth en janvier 2023 marque un tournant. Installé rapidement comme titulaire, il devient l’un des joueurs les plus décisifs du club en Premier League. Sa vitesse, sa puissance et son travail sans ballon en font un attaquant complet, capable d’évoluer sur les deux ailes comme dans l’axe.  En janvier 2026, Manchester City décide d’investir massivement pour le recruter. Déjà habitué à la Premier League, l’international ghanéen s’intègre rapidement et se montre décisif dès ses premières apparitions.
