00:19The arraignment and pretrial of former Senator Bong Revilla before the Sandigan buy-in for charges of graft and malversation,
00:27which is a non-vailable offense, did not proceed.
00:30As per several motions were filed by Revilla Scamp, including a motion to quash the information or to dismiss the case,
00:37It's important because the objective is to quash the warrant and to dismiss the case.
00:41Revilla Scamp also filed a motion for investigation.
00:45His Scamp claimed that the filing of the case allegedly did not go through due process.
00:50But just to put on perspective yung isa sa mga due process arguments,
00:54Now, what we had wanted to emphasize as procedure is that hindi po nakatanggap kami
01:01nung copy nung malversation complaint with all the thick attachments.
01:07Balisi said that what they received were only the motion to include additional respondents and evidence.
01:12He said that they will exhaust all possible legal remedies.
01:16Aside from this, he said that they only received yesterday the ombudsman resolution for Revilla
01:21and is co-accused in the graft and malversation case.
01:24This is despite the fact that the complaint had already been filed before the Sandigan Bayan last week.
01:30Due to the motions that still need to be resolved,
01:33Revilla Scamp requested the Sandigan Bayan to postpone the arraignment.
01:37The third division of the Sandigan Bayan set February 9th as the date of the arraignment
01:41for the malversation case against Revilla and is co-accused.
01:44On the same day, the fourth division also sent their arraignment for the graft case against Revilla
01:49and five other co-accused.
01:51After one of the accused, Emilita Huat entered a not guilty plea for the graft case.
