11:54So this meeting is happening in the backdrop of very significant geopolitical developments.
12:01What is the sense that you have, what is your sense so far, you know, since you've come here from whatever meetings that you've had with world leaders and so on?
12:12And also, was there any discussion on AI, on regulation or global regulatory framework for AI, if you could elaborate on that?
12:23In this world full of turbulence, everybody is looking for trusted partners who have stable policies, who have a clear thought process.
12:35And India definitely lists very high, any geography, you meet the leader from any country, they consider India as a major, as a partner, as an economy, as a co-developer, as a co-creator, as a country which can be relied upon.
12:55That's the thought process, that's the thought process, that's the feeling we got from interactions.
13:01Regarding AI regulation, yes, there is a serious concern about the way AI can be misused.
13:10Most countries are looking at some sort of regulation, even the tech companies are looking at, in a sense, putting those guardrails within the AI models.
13:20Today, one of the, actually two of the, actually two of the large tech companies, CEOs whom I met, they said that they are actively, in fact, they are on the verge of creating those guardrails,
13:33implementing those guardrails within the AI stacks that they have developed.
13:39And that's very significant because the society at large is getting disturbed by some of the things which a few, few of the models are creating.
13:50If I could just get a follow up.
13:53Many of our trade partners have come with very large delegations, the official delegations also.
14:00And I'm referring to the United States.
14:02Would you be having meetings with the official delegation that is here?
14:06The format of DAVOS is a format where we generally do panels and bilaterals.
14:16The trade meetings which happen, they happen as per the countries, their own schedules and their own negotiations.
14:23We are deeply engaged with all the major economies on practically all fronts at this point of time.
14:30So, and this is not the forum in which we meet delegation to delegation.
14:36So, one last question, short one, you spoke about, both of you spoke about how internationally India is taking UBI ideas there and different blueprints are there.
14:48Are we also, the government also using DAVOS as a forum to maybe hear of international ideas that could be used in India?
14:56Yeah, of course, today I picked a very interesting idea from the UAE where they are now aiming at zero bureaucracy.
15:09So, I like that idea.
15:12In fact, they have a very good economy to support and so every year, you know, they give a prize money of $250,000 to a bureaucrat who brings down the processes and makes it a zero bureaucracy, you know, idea.
15:33So, I think these are some certain things or like Minister Sir was telling about AI being responsible.
15:42So, today one idea was floated that let the AI algorithms be embedded with, you know, some certain regulatory frameworks so that it becomes responsible.
