Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he would travel to the World Economic Forum in Davos only if documents on U.S. security guarantees and a broader prosperity plan were ready to be signed. Speaking on Tuesday, Zelensky explained he remained in Kyiv to manage the aftermath of a major Russian airstrike that disrupted heating supplies to around half of the capital’s residential buildings. Zelensky said ending the war remains Ukraine’s top priority and noted that circumstances could change quickly. He also confirmed Ukraine had been invited to join U.S. President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace initiative, with diplomats currently working on the details.
