00:00The last two weeks, you guys put on a show defensively in the playoffs
00:04for a national audience.
00:06You flustered Justin Herbert and C.J. Stroud.
00:10I would say they look panicky out there, my words.
00:12I don't know if you'd agree with that or not.
00:14Agreed.
00:15Agreed.
00:15Agreed.
00:15Okay, so when can you sense that another quarterback, Herbert, Stroud,
00:21whomever, are panicky, and how have you guys been doing that
00:24to these QBs the last couple of weeks?
00:27I think first thing first, it comes down to the run game.
00:30I think they have like 11 rushing yards in the first half.
00:33So, you know, when you get them to second and third and long,
00:36there's a limited amount of plays they can run, first of all.
00:40And then, too, as a defense, we're able to pin our ears back and go get them.
00:45And our front guys are amazing to get to the quarterback.
00:48And, you know, you can see the quarterback start to panic
00:51because our DBs are recovering and our LBs are recovering
00:54and we're playing in tight windows.
00:56So if they're going to have to throw that ball,
00:58they're either going to have to make an amazing throw
00:59or it's going to either get tipped or intercepted.
01:02So when they start squatting, what we call it like squatting in the pocket
01:06where their feet get a little wide, they start panicking a little bit.
01:09That's when we know we got them, and I felt like we did that both games.
01:13So we'll look back at the film.
01:14Both quarterbacks either – Herbert scrambled a little bit more,
01:17so I was able to hunt him down.
01:18But especially CJ, he was able – if you watch, he'd just squat
01:24and start panicking a little bit.
