00:00You know, wherever your weaknesses are, let's go out and address them now before the Caleb Williams second contract.
00:05But this feels sustainable.
00:07This is why I say when you have a young franchise quarterback, you want an offensive coach.
00:12You don't want a defensive coach.
00:13I'll do respect all the defensive coaches out there, but the offensive coordinator is going to get a head coaching job somewhere else.
00:18And then you've got to find another one.
00:19And maybe the next one's going to be bad.
00:21Maybe the next one's going to be good.
00:22Either way, your quarterback's got to deal with a new offensive coordinator.
00:25You want Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams to develop and grow year after year after year.
00:31You want Caleb Williams to have the full range of experiences.
00:34So the next time he thinks he's going to get DJ Moore down the field, that he's going to flatten off instead of go deeper,
00:40there's going to be maybe some restraint and he's not going to throw that ball.
00:43These are all things that are going to make him better and better.
00:46And this is the start of something that feels sustainable.
00:49I think back to the 85 Bears.
00:50We all thought they were a dynasty.
00:51They're going to win two.
00:52They're going to win three.
00:53And it all fell apart.
00:54It's been a long time since then.
00:55This feels like the early stages of something that could end up being very special.
01:00That's why today, look, here's how you get past yesterday.
01:04Number one, probably wasn't going to end well in Seattle next week.
01:08So, you know.
01:09And two, it's the dawn of a new era for the Chicago Bears.
01:13That is the thing that I would take away from this.
01:15If I was a Bears fan saying, hey, things are going to get better and they're going to get there quickly.
