00:00You hate standing here with all this power behind you,
00:04but I got power, too.
00:05It's called the United States military.
00:07I don't care.
00:12What a team.
00:12What a great job.
00:15What a great job.
00:15Please sit down.
00:16We'll have to spend a little time doing this,
00:19because I watched some of those games,
00:21and these guys know how to win,
00:23just like we knew how to win last week.
00:26We had a little victory.
00:26It was surgical, just like their victory.
00:28You're right, Duffy.
00:30It's an honor to welcome to the White House
00:34the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions,
00:37the Florida Panthers.
00:39Unbelievable team, unbelievable athletes, players.
00:42These men are responsible for the greatest feats
00:45in Panthers franchise history.
00:46And beyond that, I mean, beyond that,
00:49I mean, you compare them to some of the greatest hockey teams ever,
00:53including the first-ever President's Trophy,
00:56three straight final appearances,
00:58and the one that you didn't.
01:00So after a shortened off-season
01:05and a regular season plagued by injuries,
01:08the Florida Panthers entered the 20-25 playoffs
01:11with extraordinary pressure to defend the title.
01:14But they also had an amazing aura about them.
01:17It was called the aura of winning.
01:20There's something nice about it.
01:22And that's what they did.
01:25But not only did you live up to the sky-high expectations,
01:28you gave us perhaps the most dominant playoff run in NHL history.
01:33The Panthers scored 94 goals in the playoffs,
01:36more than any team in a generation.
01:39You won a record 10 times on the road.
01:42It was — nobody's ever done that one before.
01:45You led the finals for over 255 minutes,
01:49the most of any team in NHL history.
01:53And you denied Canada the Stanley Cup
01:55for the 32nd straight year by —
02:04I don't know.
02:05What do you think about that?
02:06What do you think about that, Matthew?
02:08We have a little competition with Canada.
02:11No, they're great people, though.
02:13They're great people.
02:14We're doing much better than Canada,
02:15but that's okay, right?
02:17We want them to do well,
02:18and they're going to do well.
