00:00The future of Gaza seems to lie in Trump's hands.
00:03Friday, the White House announced some of the members who would serve on the so-called
00:07Board of Peace for the Palestinian Territory.
00:10The list includes U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff,
00:15Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair,
00:19who led the U.K. into the Iraq War.
00:22Also on the list are billionaire private equity executive Mark Rowan
00:26and World Bank president Ajay Bonga.
00:28Chairing the board, of course, is President Donald Trump himself.
00:33It is my great honor to announce that the Board of Peace has been formed.
00:37I can say with certainty that it is the greatest and most prestigious board
00:42ever assembled at any time, any place.
00:45The formation of the Board of Peace is part of Phase 2 of Trump's 20-point Gaza Peace Plan,
00:51which took effect in October.
00:52Under the plan, the board is set to oversee the Gaza Governance Committee,
00:56which met for the first time in Egypt Friday.
00:59Palestinians say they are skeptical about the Trump peace plan.
01:02What second phase are they talking about?
01:05They haven't even started the first phase.
01:07How can they start the second?
01:09We don't want ink on paper.
01:10We want action on the ground.
01:12We don't want it to be like every other time.
01:14Just words on paper and then things stay the same or get worse.
01:17The U.S. declared the start of Phase 2 of the peace plan,
01:23despite the fact that both sides have accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
01:27Since the agreement took hold, the Israeli military says three of its soldiers have been killed in Palestinian attacks.
01:33In the same period, Gaza's Hamasran Health Ministry says 450 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes.
01:39The U.S.
