00:00President Trump announced late Wednesday that he has it on good authority that the killings
00:04in Iran are stopping. We have been notified and pretty strongly, but we'll find out what that
00:11all means. But we've been told that the killing in Iran is stopping. It's stopped. It's stopping.
00:20And there's no plan for executions or an execution or executions.
00:25That statement begged the question, is a U.S. strike if Iran now off the table? In classic
00:31Trump style, the president responded that he'd have to wait and see. It is worth noting that just
00:37before strikes were carried out on Iran's nuclear facilities last year, a sort of public deception
00:43campaign was unleashed by the White House, giving similar indications that U.S. military action was
00:48not imminent, when of course we know now that it was. The president's wait and see approach was not
00:53enough to quell concerns in Iran. They closed their airspace to any flight not originating from
00:59or landing in the country for at least two hours on Wednesday evening. All the recent developments
01:04came shortly after Iranian state TV not so subtly appeared to threaten to assassinate President
01:09Trump. It broadcast a picture of Trump during the 2024 Butler, Pennsylvania attempt on his life.
01:15And as if the image alone wasn't enough to make their intention crystal clear,
01:19written alongside it. The words, quote, this time it will not miss the target. Iran has reportedly
01:25plotted to kill Trump before. The Department of Justice said that a man who was arrested in 2024 was
01:30tasked by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps to murder the president in the name of the Iranian regime.
01:36And whether or not the U.S. will carry out strikes in Iran remains to be seen. But the military is making
01:42some strategic adjustments in the area regardless. Some troops are currently withdrawing from bases
01:48across the Middle East, moves that would be smart if there was a sense that there may be future
01:53retaliatory strikes. Tehran has said that it would hit U.S. command posts if President Trump ordered
01:59an attack on Iran. And remember my conversation with the Post's White House reporter Caitlin Dornbaas
02:04yesterday? She mentioned that at the present moment, our military doesn't have as much naval support in
02:10the Mideast because many of our ships are half a world away in the Caribbean off the coast of
02:14Venezuela. Well, that is changing, too. The Pentagon has ordered a guided missile destroyer to the
02:20Persian Gulf, and that ship is capable of hitting targets on land, sea and air. Actor and director
02:26Timothy Busfield, best known for his role in the West Wing, is facing fresh sexual assault allegations,
02:32this time from a girl just 16 at the time of the alleged incident. A pretrial motion obtained by
02:37People says a man reported to law enforcement this past Tuesday that his daughter was auditioning for
02:43Busfield when he allegedly, quote, kissed her and put his hands down her pants. The father leveling
02:49these accusations says that Busfield begged his family not to report the incident if he promised
02:55to get therapy. The father, a therapist himself, thought at the time that was the best thing to do.
03:01Busfield is already facing charges of sexual abuse against two 11-year-old boys, twins, while he was
03:07directing the Fox show The Cleaning Lady. Now, he denies those accusations, and his attorney claims that
03:13the story was concocted by the boy's mother as revenge after her sons were cut from the last
03:18season of the show, and says there's a witness to that effect. And we're also learning that just
03:24minutes after Busfield turned himself into authorities, heavily armed federal agents rammed
03:28down the door of his upstate New York home, still believing he was on the lam. At least 10 officers
03:34from the U.S. Marshals New York Regional Fugitive Task Force, armed with assault rifles and riot gear,
03:40busted through the door of Busfield's home. Now, they searched the house as well as an RV on the
03:45property and left about 20 minutes later empty-handed. For more on these stories and everything else you
