00:00If you work a lot with objects, images, charts, you'll come to a point where you need to align
00:04them nicely either to the left or right so that they look very systematic and organized.
00:10But doing it manually like this can be quite time consuming and challenging. Let me show you another
00:15way you can do it relatively quickly. So the first thing you're going to have to do is basically
00:20select any of the chart like this or any of your images or objects and press ctrl a to select
00:26all the objects. And then next thing you have to do, you're going to go to your pull down menu,
00:30click on shape, under arrange, you're going to do a pull down on align. And now I'm going to
00:35vertically align to the left here. So when you click on this, you can see everything get aligned
00:41to the left. Next thing you have to do is to equally space it because now there's overlapping going on.
00:46So you're going to go to while selecting all the objects, you're going to go to shape format,
00:50arrange, align, and basically you're going to say distribute vertically like this.
00:55If your space is too narrow, as you can see, what you can do is you can move the last
01:00chart or your object or image a bit lower, like I'm going to just slide it down a bit more like this.
01:05And now you're going to select any of these objects here and press ctrl a to select all your
01:11objects again. Go to shape, arrange, align, and basically say again, say distribute vertically like
01:18this and you can see the space a bit more wider here. That is vertically. Let's say if you want to do
01:24horizontally, I'm just going to move a couple of my chart or the objects for the matter of fact like
01:30this. I'm going to use the same set of four bar charts here like this. Now you want to align them
01:38to the top, right? All you have to do is select any of the chart. I already selected this. Press ctrl a to
01:43select all your chart and next thing I have to do is to say shape, under arrange, align, and let's say you
01:52want to align it to the top like this and everything's aligned to the top. Now the spaces are not
01:59regular. As you see, it is very narrow. This is wide. All you have to do is go align and then now you say
02:05distribute horizontally like this and they'll equally space nicely for you. Let's say you find that the
02:10space are too wide. All you can do is that you have to move the last object on your selection here. Maybe
02:17move it a bit closer here like this. Now press ctrl a, shape, format, arrange, align, and distribute
02:23horizontally. You can see now they're starting to squeeze. Maybe it's a bit too too much space. I'm
02:29going to do this ctrl a, shape, format, arrange, align, and distribute horizontally. As you can see the space
02:38between each of the chart objects is reducing.
