00:00The pro by movie star, our next rider in the start gate, this is French rider Zoe Delzoppo

00:06riding for Scott and Mahmoud, taking the win in the challengers.

00:10Zoe, well, I mean, she's a former Freeride Junior World Champion,

00:17took a season off to focus on her studies.

00:19She's a member of the Freeride World Tour Overachievers Club in medical school.

00:23Unreal.

00:23While she's doing this, her skiing is absolutely unbelievable.

00:27She's got that experience from the Junior World Championship, competing on a big stage,

00:31and she was pretty dominant in the Region 1 challengers.

00:35And the French rider now pushing to get things started here on the Freeride World Tour.

00:42Absolutely getting things kicked off here, taking that air up top.

00:48And then moving through this terrain, again, the athletes know at this point,

00:53they've been watching typically the live feed,

00:55so they know that this upper section is just kind of a moment to warm up and that it will improve.

00:59And I think that, like you said, the vibe today was actually a vibe of relief among the competitors

01:04that the watching for her air there, that the conditions had improved.

01:09I think the athletes are excited about the conditions.

01:11She was able to get an air there.

01:12It was a little bit of a cross court, finding a nice landing, keeping in the flow,

01:15kind of riding the mini spine on the middle of the venue.

01:18Yeah, Zoe taking a big chunk off of that feature right back into control.

01:23So skiing with intent and aggression and lining up this one that we saw quite popular with the snowboard men

01:28and a perfect landing there for Zoe Del Zappo.

01:32So a really clean run.

01:34The new riders on the Freeride World Tour, the rookies showing their veteran savvy

01:39as she is now down into the apron.

01:41Just got to make her way through this section.

01:43But a very strong statement from the La Clusab rider, that La Clusab Freeride team,

01:48they just keep on producing World Tour level athletes.

01:51And Zoe, the latest member of that club, as she is looking really strong all the way down

01:56as we're going to just wait to say anything more until she's through that finish arch.

02:01Let our rookie come through the finish arch to the celebration of the Spanish crowd.

02:06That feels good.

02:07She's on her feet.

02:07And that was a well-executed run.

02:09Once she got into the meat of it, she made quick work.

02:11She stayed in the fall line, and she put down her landings right to her feet.

02:15We'll take a look back at the replay, taking a bite off the appetizer air at the top.

02:22Then she gets into the meat of it here with this kind of cross-court air,

02:25finding kind of some tranny right next to the rocks there,

02:28and then redirecting to hit this sizable air,

02:31taking it right from the nose of that feature, landing.

02:34And again, a perfect little tranny right next to the bottom of the rock,

02:37a very veteran move.

02:38And then she's going to do it one more time here.

02:42Sniping like a little tail drag on the end of that rock.

02:44But again, a lot of times with these features,

02:46the best landing can be tucked in right against the rock

02:49where there's a little bit more steepness for you to...

02:51Again, the steepness of the landing is going to help with the impact.

02:55Yeah, way up high in the transition.

02:57So Zoe Dizopo now looking for the score.
