00:04John Harbaugh now becomes the 21st head coach in franchise history.
00:08Great job by John Mara and ownership by getting this thing done
00:12because once Harbaugh was made available by the Ravens,
00:16he was everyone from fan base to media, he was the first choice.
00:21So great job by them bringing in a guy that can come in
00:24and look to be the guy that can right the ship
00:28and get this franchise back to winning again.
00:31From a player perspective, it makes absolute sense.
00:34If you're Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, any of those core guys that have been here,
00:39you now got a guy that's going to walk in and command respect from day one
00:45and he's going to show through his track record and his resume
00:48that he can bring stability and leadership in that locker room,
00:53in that building because he's won
00:55and he can be the guy that can win right now.
00:58If you're Jackson Dart, you're absolutely loving it as well
01:01because although he may not be an offensive coach
01:04or he may not be hands-on with you,
01:07he is going to bring in an offensive coordinator
01:09tailored to what your development needs.
01:13For you to take that step, just like Brian Dable did with Josh Allen in Buffalo,
01:19I feel as though John Harbaugh is going to bring in someone to help the development of Jackson Dart
01:24and on the defensive side of the football, he's going to bring in the guy that's going to make sure
01:29this defense at least has to be in the top 10 defense range,
01:33especially with the dogs that they have on that side of the ball.
01:36One thing that he has done is he's asked for a lot of money for his coaching staff.
01:41He wants to go out and get the best guys or the best leader of men
01:45that's going to, one, put the best roster together, but put their players in position to make plays and to win.
01:52So once again, way to go out there and get the coach in this coaching cycle
01:57or this hiring coaching cycle that can come in from day one and turn this franchise around.
