00:00My name's Paul Hartley. I'm an Orientation and Mobility Specialist with Guide Dogs New South Wales ACT in the Illawarra.
00:08We've come here today to the Wurrungong Conservatory of Music for collaboration with them, with Guide Dogs,
00:15and with some low vision of blind musicians to collaborate really to have an event which brings students from about 4 to 11 years of age
00:28to access music, skills to access print and be introduced to music for leisure while also sort of walking around the Wurrungong Conservatory of Music
00:39learning mobility skills and to get around but also concepts around music and mobility as well.
00:46So it's a family-centered event so we've got parents as well coming along and so hopefully this tastes into music
00:53and some of the skills they've learnt today can be generalised and at home.
00:57for further skill development in the future.
