00:12education, social equity, environmental justice, housing, and food security, but she's also
00:17donated millions to areas impacted by funding cuts. Just this week, the Trevor Project, an
00:23LGBTQ plus youth crisis organization, announced it had received a $45 million donation from Scott
00:30after the Trump administration moved to strip LGBTQ specific support from the 988 lifeline,
00:37with its CEO saying the donation comes at a time when the Trevor Project has never needed it more.
00:42The Trump administration has also cut funding to FEMA, which Scott followed with a $60 million
00:48donation to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. And she's made historic donations to
00:53universities that could be impacted by federal education cuts, including $80 million to Howard
00:58University. In 2025 alone, Scott donated more than $7 billion, with a median size of $5 million
01:05per donation, according to yield-giving data analyzed by Fortune.
