00:00Welcome back. On Wednesday, the French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barotte urged the United States to end its campaign of blackmail and extortion against the government of Greenland

00:09and declared that no territory of the European Union is for sale.

00:13Barotte issued the proclamation during an interview on RTL radio and refamed the French government's opposition to Washington's colonialist ambitions.

00:21The leader also confirmed that France will open a consulate in Greenland on February 6, 2026, a measure he described as a diplomatic warning sign-out to the Trump administration.
