00:00This is a moment that is quickly going viral and sparking fresh controversy around U.S. President
00:25Donald Trump. During a visit to an auto plant in Michigan, Trump was caught on camera making an
00:32obscene gesture toward a heckler. The incident happened inside the Ford F-150 factory in Detroit.
00:41Trump was walking along an elevated platform overlooking the factory floor, dressed in a long
00:47black overcoat surrounded by workers and staff. Then came the shouting. Video footage shows Trump
00:56stopping, pointing down toward the factory floor, scowling, appearing to mouth expletives,
01:03and then raising his middle finger. The target? A heckler who, according to reports, shouted insults
01:11from the factory floor. The heckler has not been identified, but the response from the White
01:17House was immediate and defiant. Spokesperson Stephen Chung told Agents Franz Press that the
01:25heckler, quote, got what they deserved. Chung described the person as, quote, a lunatic,
01:32wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, end quote, and said the president's
01:39response was, quote, appropriate and unambiguous, end quote. But this moment does not exist in
01:47isolation. It comes at a time when Trump's second term is under intense scrutiny, particularly over
01:54the handling of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, a convicted sex offender and former
02:01financier, was once associated with Trump and other elite figures. He was found dead in a New York
02:08jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges involving minors. His death
02:16has remained the subject of years of conspiracy theories, many of them amplified by Trump's own
02:21support base. Last year, Trump approved bipartisan legislation mandating the release of Epstein-related
02:29files. But the deadline, December 19th, has come and gone without full disclosure. Earlier this
02:37month, Justice Department officials admitted they are still reviewing more than two million
02:43documents. And that delay has only added fuel to public anger and moments like this one on the
02:50factory floor. A president, an obscene gesture, a shout from the crowd, and questions that refuse to go
02:59away. For now, the video speaks for itself.
