The wedding of George Georgopoulos and Vasiliki Pantapoulos took place at the Church of Agios Nikolaos in Makrochorio on Sunday, September 8, 1968. The video was made by Mr. Thanasis Tsakalos from Toronto, Canada.

My father's cousin, FYI

Nikos Yioutsos was born in April 1942 in Makrochori, Kastoria, but grew up in Hungary as a political refugee with his mother and sister. There he began playing football for the "Olympos" team and a short time later played for the Hungarian team Cepel.

In 1964 he returned to Greece to play for Piraeus. Making his debut in January against Panathinaikos, he was loved by fans of both the club (with the slogan "Come in, Yutso" being known even today) and Greek football for his characteristic ease of "rushing" towards the opposing goal.

With the "red and white" he won four championships (1966, 1967, 1973, 1974) and the same number of cups (1964, 1968, 1971, 1973) while playing in 330 games, scoring 128 goals. Ten years later, in 1974, he "moved" to Ethnikos Piraeus where he played for two years before "hanging up his boots". At the same time, he was capped 15 times by the Greek national team and had scored six goals.
