00:00including the firing of John Harbaugh out of Baltimore there seems to be a lot of waiting
00:06and wondering he's seemingly taking the weekend I think some people have allowed that to let them
00:12think well maybe if a team loses today they'll be firing their coach and interested in Harbaugh
00:18what can you tell us around this situation yeah I don't feel it's that way the latter it basically
00:23this is way a couple coaches that I know or connections with the Ravens coaches told me
00:29they say it like this Harbaugh is going to narrow it down to a handful of teams he's not going to
00:34talk to all eight teams he's not going to visit all eight teams he'll come down him and his his agent
00:39will make a decision on what this looks like in terms of the quarterback position that that's
00:46what's going to entice him look he and Lamar Jackson people have talked about the relationship and good
00:51or bad and different whatever the case may be and I know a little bit uh behind the scenes of of
00:56of what happened last week but Kevin when you look at it a guy in his 60s now he's not looking for a
01:02rebuild believe this or not and I certainly want to get to this before we get out of the segment we
01:07could certainly talk about it going forward there are a lot of people a lot of coaches are eyeing
01:12that Tennessee Titans job that's one I'd be very surprised if Harbaugh doesn't interview for that
01:17one we're talking about John Harbaugh here from a Ravens head coach Cam Ward is seen very very well
01:22despite all the numbers and everything had happened but he's seen very very favorably
01:27around the National Football League with coaches who are looking for work uh cap we saw Green Bay
01:32lose the game a lot of rumblings about potentially Matt LaFleur I want to get your take on that but
01:38today with Buffalo is there any rumblings if Buffalo drops this game with McDermott and the team
01:45potentially moving on from him unless they get blown out Joe it I find it hard to believe that
01:53they would let go of Sean McDermott now there's there's a phrase that's saying that says on watch
01:59let's say they do they lose today right and we know they've not got they've not got to Super Bowl yet
02:04in in Sean's time though they he's part of the turnaround with Brandon Bean of an organization
02:09that had not made the playoffs for nearly 20 years but they just have not gotten over the hump yet
02:13but with McDermott the guy wins I don't I don't see him being in trouble it would have to be extreme
02:20now we talk about Matt LaFleur Joe we have to understand something it's not talked about enough
02:25this coming up season 26 is the final year of his contract when you look at his situation
02:31he needs a renewal it's very rare and we saw this was Mike McCarthy that Cowboys let him
02:37and his contract expire and and Mike is trying to be a head coach elsewhere so when you look at this
02:44situation with LaFleur it's just not done with guys who LaFleur like him who've done nothing but win
02:51I look I've had my issues with LaFleur being too conservative that was not the point last
02:56last night their defense collapsed in the fourth quarter that's why the game went over the total by the
03:01way because there's there was a lot of urgency to throw the football but yeah I it I don't do
03:07percentages but it's highly unlikely there's gonna be a change here but if you're Matt LaFleur and his
03:12his representatives you do not want to go into the final year Joe of your contract because if you get
03:19off to a slow start that's when players can tune you out it's typically not done with guys who are
03:24successful like before
