A winter climb up Mount Washington became a life-testing challenge after two friends battled some of the harshest conditions imaginable.
The video, filmed by Eloi Gauthier and Vincent Piché on Mount Washington in New Hampshire, USA shows the pair facing brutal weather, with temperatures dropping to −46°C and winds reaching 137 km/h.
Every step forward required intense focus as visibility dropped and the cold cut through layers of gear.
Despite the extreme conditions, the climbers pressed on, clearly exhausted but determined, fully aware that Mount Washington is known as one of the most dangerous and unpredictable mountains in the world.
