Baby Bird Rescued After Getting Trapped in Feeder

A woman came to the rescue of a baby bird after it became trapped inside one of her backyard feeders.

Michele Frank filmed the rescue in Homestead, Florida, after discovering the young bird with its head stuck inside the feeder and unable to free itself.

Michele carefully worked to release the bird from the feeder, explaining that the bird had become trapped by the feed inside. After freeing it, she cooled the bird down with cool water before allowing it to rest in her hand.

The bird eventually flew away from Michele's hand, and she continued monitoring it to make sure it was okay. Michele said she has spent her whole life rescuing creatures and did not initially consider the incident to be a big deal.

Michele's rescue was met with supportive comments online, with one person writing, "Thank you for saving him/her."

Another viewer said, "Then a hero come along."

A third person added, "So glad you saw her in time."
