00:00We talked a lot about bleeding radiators, but basically you want your central heating system to be working properly.
00:05The way to identify that is if you put your hand on your radiator and it's warm at the bottom but cold at the top,
00:10your radiators need bleeding and essentially you just need a key from a DIY store and a cloth underneath and you let the air out.
00:18But there's more detail on that. It's also a really good idea, by the way, if we've got this storm coming in, to lag all your pipes.
00:24Because people leave their pipes un-lagged.
00:27What does that mean?
00:28Basically, you can get insulation. You can buy it in all kinds of different sizes and shapes, but you get great lengths of it in foam and it's sort of split down one side.
00:37Depending on the size of the pipe, you can get larger ones and smaller ones and you just go and buy it cheap as chips.
00:42It's really fun at the counter. Your kids will love them. They're the fun things to buy.
