00:00In other news, the Department of Health has recorded 17 cases of super flu in the country.

00:05This is a variant of influenza AH3N2, a seasonal infectious disease that causes flu-like illness,

00:13which is currently spreading in Europe and America.

00:16According to Health Secretary Ted Herbosa, the disease was detected in the third quarter of 2025,

00:22and all affected Filipinos have since recovered.

00:24Although it is not alarming, according to the Secretary, Filipinos traveling to temperate countries

00:30are advised to receive Northern Hemisphere vaccines as a precautionary measure against the illness.

00:37Not alarming, but there is a new variant out there.

00:40So I think the warning I will give is for Filipinos that will travel to the temperate countries,

00:45that will go to North America, to the UK.

00:48If you're going there, be knowledgeable that there is a spread of super flu in that area.

00:54Maybe get the Northern Hemisphere vaccine.

00:58That's my best advice for them.

01:06The Northern Hemisphere shot, not the Southern Hemisphere shot.
