00:00The Office of Civil Defense, or OCD, is preparing to assist the public affected by extreme heat.

00:06Through Memorandum 6-6, they are ready to respond to heat-related injuries

00:10and collaborate with the Department of Health on awareness campaigns.

00:14Emergency supplies are pre-positioned in key areas like Dagupan, Iba Zambales, and others.

00:20No serious heat-related incidents have been reported yet.

00:23Local government units and volunteers are on standby to help if needed.

00:28We are here with the participation of local government units, local DRMA offices,

00:36and our volunteers. We have a lot of accredited volunteers.

00:40They are ready to respond to heat-related injuries and illnesses.
