00:56fujita the yaju the beast alongside shuhei taniguchi and that music you hear belongs to one very

01:44today they have wrestled in noah together before a singles match back at ryogoku in october
01:49and they went bell to bell you have this untitled unfinished business there isn't there between
01:54these two legends listen to that crowd they just love him
01:58the sunshine hero junta miyawaki
02:08shuhei taniguchi celebrated 20 years in the game last month
02:16kazuyuki fujita the beast the veteran powerhouse
02:23he's only bought his energy drink for himself today interesting note
02:29it could be dangerous to get one of those too
02:32he could be going it alone in order suzuki let's be fair
02:34that's true
02:35now as frightening a quartet as we have just witnessed walk out

03:41and ask he doesn't give and ish what you think
03:47takashi segura
03:50always ready to kill
03:53smiles today from Masa Kitsamiya
03:57Still not from Sugiura though, unfortunately.
04:00No, yeah there's been a campaign from Tetsuya Endo, from Kenta to bring that smile back to Takashi
04:08Sugiura's face but we haven't seen it appear yet. Yeah unfortunately it didn't work out, Kenta
04:12tried to snap Sugi out of his villainous ways and put the smile back on him in their 25th anniversary
04:17match but didn't quite happen on 23rd of December, Sugi prevailing that day after an Olympic slam.
04:22Sugi the godfather, oh here we go, yeah there's the argy-bargy we were expecting, Suzuki wants in.
04:31Look out now, they're gonna pick up where they left off when we were good, that's right, yeah.
04:40Not get in the middle of that scrum. This is just playing into the hands of Team 2000X,
04:44they'll be happy to wait all day for these two to settle business. Let them tire each other out.
04:48Yep, yep. Fujita's asking for a singles match right now, he wants everybody out and he wants to face
04:56Minoru Suzuki. It looks like we're going to get the Yaju, the beast versus the chairman to kick things off
05:04in this black new year themed eight-man tag team match. You listen to Stu Fulton alongside my verbal
05:10tag team partners Mark Pickering and Mike Shroudner. Happy new year to everybody watching around the world,
05:14and all of our new subscribers on Wrestle Universe. Absolutely, let us know your predictions,
05:19all the upcoming title matches, Noah, IndusCorp, GHC. Two big sluggers going toe-to-toe now.
05:26And we're testing draws here. What a way to start things off. Oh, Kitamiya going with an eye rake.
05:37Fujita off the ropes, but it's the shoulder of the Yaju that drops Kitamiya.
05:41Kitamiya really been dastardly all of last year winning the N1 with some of those nasty underhanded
05:49tactics and once again employing them here against an absolute legend of MMA, Kazuki Fujita.
05:55Great master. Yep, seven years running in the N1 victory, Mike. It's just so impressive,
06:01the consistency of Masa Kitamiya. Consistency is the key word, isn't it? He's a top draw heavyweight.
06:07Minora Suzuki wants to attack. He's not getting it. He is not getting it. Kazuki Fujita denied him.
06:17Big Shu only happy to oblige though. Serious glares from these two on the side of the side of the ring here.
06:24These lariants are barely moving like Masa Kitamiya. He laughs it off, shrugs it off.
06:30Well, the headbutts are in play early. Double axe handle. Big Shu winding things. Oh, unfortunately,
06:37Yoshitatsu getting involved. His first intervention of the year and certainly not his last.
06:42Picking up right where he left off, unfortunately. Look at his cheeky wee face sucking on that lollipop there.
06:48There's the tag. Oh, Gucci brings in. Wow. Minora Suzuki. The crowd puck, but the expression on the face of
07:03Sugiura says it all. He is ready for war here. Two daytime greats.
07:08And they have quite the history as well. I mean, they used to be in a team back in the day.
07:13Absolutely. In 2015, Inor Suzuki recruited Sugiura to his stable Suzuki gun.
07:25Exchange of massive boots here in the middle of the ring. Oh, and we're going to go corner to corner now.
07:35It's not there. Suzuki off the ropes.
07:37Pukke. Straight back to his feet though. The godfather.
07:47Takashi Sugiura held the GHC tag team titles twice last year with Masakitamiya.
07:54Such an ever present in that division.
07:59Just a few weeks ago, we celebrated the 25 years of him in the ring.
08:0325 years of greatness. Exactly. Yeah. Great singles match with Kenta. You can see that in the Wrestle Universe
08:11archives. Oh, they both land at the same time and drop.
08:19Minora Suzuki himself, as I said, he wrestled at Ryogoku in October against
08:26the Ryogoku Sumo Hall. Yep. He's been active in DDT as well last year winning titles.
08:39Stay so busy, doesn't he? 57 years young now, Suzuki.
08:43Junta Miyawaki in now against Jun Masalka now. Jun Masalka is a very skilled freelancer, but you have to
08:51expect all DDT from Tadasky. You have to expect some dirty tactics from Masalka. He has not been
08:59fighting clean at all. I mean, it has to be expected from Team 2000X, but Masalka has fit so nicely into this.
09:05He's been enjoying the dirty dastardly tactics. On the biggest stage of his career, especially paired
09:11alongside Tadasky, he's going to bring out the worst in Masalka. The sunshine hero, one and over the top of the plancha.
09:25Miyawaki looking so solid, so strong. Held his first career title last year in the early months.
09:32It was a breakout year for Miyawaki, 20-25. Look at the speed of Masalka here, but only too happy to oblige.
09:42Oh, he goes low to the leg of Miyawaki with the dropkick there. There's the tag. Masakita
09:49Miyawaki steps in. Big shoulder. Take another one. And if it gets to his feet. Scoots up, gets out the back door.
10:08They don't like when it works against them, don't they, Team 2000X? No.
10:11Big shoe with the running Lariat. Izuki directing traffic. Yeah, bring him to me, he says. Setting up the carnage, isn't he?
10:21Chalk sleeper hold applied. Fujita wants a piece of Kitamiya. That's it, dude. He's done it.
10:28Oh, he sends him into him. And the Lariat. The teamwork there, finally. Here we go.
10:35Fujita now direct in traffic. Junta Miyawaki from the Top Turn Podcast. Missile kick. One, two.
10:44Can I ask him for the save? Miyawaki is also Regina's daughter's favorite wrestler.
10:51That says all you need to know right there.
10:56Hold. Very. Looking for that German suplex.
11:00Oh, we're ambitious for Miyawaki.
11:01Titamiya nearly broke his arm. Big palm strike to the jaw.
11:08The chairman in control now. Sends him across to the opposite side.
11:16Miyawaki. Oh, runs into the Lariat from Titamiya.
11:19That was right to the face and jaw of Miyawaki.
11:23That's Akita Miyawaki. What a pile driver.
11:25One, two. Oh, look at that. He just lifts his head up.
11:33Not going to finish it there, he says.
11:35Wants to brutalize the Sunshine Hero even more.
11:38We might not agree with stars. Yeah, we might not agree with these tactics,
11:41but this is the best version we've seen of Masa Kitamiya, the N1 victory winner.
11:45That's it. Stranglehold Gamma applied. And he taps out!
11:49Junta Miyawaki gives up Masa Kitamiya. Takes the win and he doesn't want to let go.
11:55Referee peels him off. Referee gets sent out.
12:01He's working over Miyawaki here.
12:04Kitamiya is on an absolute mission here today.
12:08He just unceremoniously tossed Junta Miyawaki.
