A new battery of the SİPER Long-Range Air and Missile Defense System has been delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces, strengthening the country’s integrated air defense architecture known as Çelik Kubbe.
The delivery was completed following successful acceptance tests, during which a target aircraft was successfully engaged and hit.
The delivery of new systems continues within the scope of Çelik Kubbe, a framework designed to integrate sensors, command and control, and engagement assets to enhance the protection of Turkish airspace. In this context, the national defense industry has supplied another battery of the regional long-range air and missile defense system.
