00:00I am almost 24 hours out from a lower neck lift, a lip lift, under eye,
00:07bluff removal, and eyebrow raise, CO2 laser, starting to feel a little better,
00:13but it's been a pain in the butt.
00:15I'm 38 years old, and I'm an empty nester who got divorced last year.
00:21When you're in a controlling relationship, you've been in one for so long,
00:24you don't really realize that you are.
00:27After escaping her controlling ex, she's taking her life back.
00:31I wasn't allowed to shop at Target.
00:32I wasn't allowed to go to a popular restaurant in my area
00:36because they didn't like the person that owned it.
00:38And I could go on and on.
00:40I have spent almost the last two years unlearning the things that I wasn't allowed to do.
00:45We are day 10.
00:47I wish the swelling would be less.
00:49I feel still very, very, very swollen.
00:52Thought I saw a speck, and I pecked, and now I have a scratch,
00:54and then literally itched there, and I have a scratch, so my skin is, like, super delicate.
00:59Full recovery from a facelift can take up to 12 months.
01:02I really did think that I would be back at work on that day.
01:06I don't know why I thought that.
01:08I don't know why I thought that.
01:09I would like to go back to my normal scheduled programming.
01:12It's going down.
01:13I did get a lymphatic massage, like neck, here.
01:19She avoided this area.
01:21It felt so good, and I think it helped.
01:24I am at my first public event that I am hosting for work,
01:30so I did put on more makeup.
01:32None of these people, aside from, like, the employees, have actually seen my face.
01:37So I'm nervous.
01:38I wanted to show you my incisions, where they were, and how they're healing my eyes and under my nose.
01:50I think the thing that is bothering me the most is, honestly, probably the redness and, like, the oiliness.
01:57She's healing well, but still has a long and uncomfortable journey ahead of her.
02:02But I can't, like, exfoliate or do my normal skincare routine yet.
02:06I'm only allowed to use a mild soap and a mild lotion.
02:08I am still breaking out, and normally my skin isn't as shiny or red.
02:15But it's moving along.
02:16It's progressing.
02:17It's getting better.
02:17I'm an open book.
02:18I'm 38 years old.
02:20$78,500 for the surgery itself.
02:25I had a nurse after for three days, two nights.
02:28That was, I believe, $3,500.
02:32Pain was bad.
02:33I really don't think anybody, if they have to be in office in person, could work within the first two weeks.
02:41Let's jump ahead and look at a final side-by-side.
02:44I am actually at the wellness studio doing healthy things.
02:48Now I am in the sauna.
02:50I did a biocharger.
02:52I'm doing the sauna.
