01:23Local police and trackers looking for the missing have also vanished.
01:32And pilots flying over the mountain have reported strange occurrences.
01:38Pilots flying over the Black Mountains have commented that there is unusual turbulence.
01:43Of course, they have magnetic problems and navigational problems.
01:46They have heard loud noises, cracking noises, explosive noises.
01:50They have heard sort of mournful moaning sounds.
01:54So this is a very strange area.
01:56Some UFOologists in Australia say that this is the entrance to an underground empire, inhabited
02:09by an unearthly race of lizard creatures and evil monsters.

02:18They call them demons or spirits.
02:24Tales of the Rainbow Serpent are among the most important of the aboriginal lore in Australia.

02:41So it's a very awesome force.
02:45The Rainbow Serpent is a creator for us.
02:49And it was told by our old people that the Rainbow Serpent created everything for us.

03:13The Rainbow Serpent, I believe if you disturb her or do something wrong that you're not supposed

03:24To ward off any evil forces from the mountain, the aboriginal people perform a sacred warming

03:37The warming and smoking is for us to introduce people on our country.
03:45And it's also significant to let the spirit know that we're bringing somebody to come and visit.
03:53So the Rainbow Serpent, who lives here, he smells us and he knows the tribal people from here.
04:03We went there to look for all the mysteries connected to this area.
04:21And because this was a very abnormal place where people are disappearing, we wanted to find an explanation.
04:30So we entered this mountain and there was a labyrinth of holes, so we used rope in order not to lose our way.
04:40And when we came into the middle of the mountain, we could go up, or down, or to the sides.
04:47But each time our path was blocked with sand and rocks, and we could not continue.
04:54It's difficult to say if there are any chambers or vaults with any monsters, or a gateway into a different time.
05:02Although mainstream scientists believe the strange disappearances at Black Mountain are most likely due to the area's unique and dangerous terrain,

05:22The moment I hear about giant snakes and serpents, my mind immediately goes to all the other cultures around the world that talk about similar imagery.
05:37In the Hindu world, for example, we have the stories about flying serpents,
05:44just like we have the similar stories in South America, with Kukulkan and Quetzalcoatl,
05:50this winged serpent flying around in the sky, which also were described as having been enormous in size.
05:59So the rainbow serpent at Black Mountain, was that really a biological entity?

06:11A machine that when people came too close to it, they fell ill or died because of the fumes or radioactivity?

06:39In 1872, an expedition led by William Hahn discovered gold in the nearby Palmer River.
06:49Within 20 years, 55 tons of gold had been removed.
06:55Gold was important to every society throughout centuries until today.

07:35This could have been a place where thousands of years ago ancient aliens might have landed and the radiation deep inside the earth is so intense that people are dying from radiation poisoning.
07:48And that might well explain why the Black Mountain in the outback in Australia is considered an evil place.
07:54If extraterrestrial visitors really did leave behind high concentrations of alien contaminants at Black Mountain,

08:32And one of them is believed to be located deep inside Siberia, in an area known as the Valley of Death.

08:46This vast region in north-central Siberia is one of the most remote and least explored in the world.
08:57Here, deep within the dense forests and thick marshlands along the Vilyui River,
09:04is an area many refer to as the Valley of Death.
09:08The Valley of Death in Siberia is a place where local people will not venture because they say no one comes out alive.
09:23The locals are very reluctant to speak about what's going on, and they don't want people to go there.
09:29It's an area of such quote-unquote evil that the people who live there, the Yakut tribe,
09:38describe it as a place that's almost uninhabitable.
09:44In 1854, geographer and natural scientist Richard Karl Mack
09:50was appointed by the Russian Geographical Society
09:53to lead a scientific expedition into the dreaded Vilyui River Basin.
09:59In his journal, Mack wrote of several large and mysterious metallic objects
10:04that the local hunters referred to as cauldrons.
10:12These pictures illustrate what people claimed the cauldrons had looked like.
10:17The first picture shows a cauldron upside down with an open entrance
10:21where even a man on his reindeer can enter it.
10:26The second one shows another cauldron with some side supports.
10:34The existence of the metal structures was confirmed on three separate occasions
10:39between 1933 and 1947 by Mikhail Koretsky of Vladivostok,
10:45who had traveled to the Valley of Death to pan for gold.
10:49He claimed to have seen seven dome-shaped cauldrons,
10:55each measuring 20 to 30 feet in diameter,
10:58with odd and unnatural vegetation growing around them.
11:03Some of the people later reported loss of hair,
11:08strange sickness affecting them,
11:10strange condition of the skin that would never go away.
11:13But what could explain such a toxic reaction?
11:18And where might the dangerous cauldrons have come from?

11:28and a team of scientists
11:29traveled to the Valley of Death
11:32to try and locate the strange metal objects.
11:35I didn't know if it was just a legend
11:40or if it was real.
11:43So I wanted first of all to find this place
11:46and investigate it to make up my own opinion.
11:49Using a motor-assisted parachute
11:56to search the expansive valley,
11:59the researchers eventually spotted
12:01an odd circular pattern in a marshland.
12:07When the team explored on foot,
12:10they found the ground under the strange marsh area
12:13to be very unusual.
12:14It sounded metallic and hollow,
12:22so we thought that we found the sunken cauldrons.
12:29Then we found another place like it
12:31and even a third that had higher magnetic variations.
12:37All seemed like evidence of cauldrons

12:41But before they could explore the site any further,
