00:01In Yemen, Saudi planes attacked separatists backed by the United Arab Emirates leaving

00:08The Saudi-led coalition bombed separatist positions, striking military bases in the

00:13provinces of Hadramut and Al Marah.

00:16The Saudi offensive is in response to the advance of the separatists who last month

00:21to control of those oil-rich areas.

00:24Riyadh described its ground operations as an attempt to peacefully transfer control

00:29in what has become an internal struggle that has led to a major humanitarian crisis.

00:39In that same context, sanctions spread to Aden International Airport, the main gateway

00:45to the southern regions where air operations were suspended.

00:49The Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed al-Jaber, accused the leader of the Southern Transitional

00:55Council, Ayda Ruz al-Subaydi, of denying permission to land to Saudi delegations and to mediate

01:02the crisis.

01:03The Southern Transitional Council responded by accusing Saudi Arabia of imposing an air

01:07blockade, forcing international flights to undergo inspections in Jeddah.

01:12This dispute has left flights in Aden suspended, intensifying logistical and humanitarian difficulties

01:18in the region.
