00:00With now that conference play is tipping off, let's head right to the Big 12 in a sneaky good matchup

00:06as Calvin Sampson and the Houston Cougars head to Cincinnati to take on Coach Miller and the Cincinnati Bearcats.

00:13When you look at it, people are going to be focused on the matchup at the guard position

00:17with Emmanuel Sharp giving you 17 points per game, 3 rebounds, 41.5% from 3.

00:23And then obviously you look at the other side of Day-Day Thomas giving you 12.8 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game.

00:30And 2.8 assists per game.

00:32But there's other players you could talk about for the Houston Cougars.

00:34There's obviously Kingston Flemings, who we expect to be a top-five draft pick.

00:39There's Joseph Tugler, who has done a really good job as a defensive player of the year in the Big 12.

00:44And then there's obviously you could look at Chris Sinek, another potential lottery pick player.

00:50And Milo Juzan, obviously, who is now in his last year.

00:54When you get to the other side and you look at Cincinnati, you have to look at the matchup

00:57that we have to look inside, particularly the play of their big man, Baba Miller.

01:02Baba Miller's giving you about 14 points, 11.5 rebounds per game.

01:05The only way Coach Miller's team can stay in the game is if his Miller, Baba,

01:11really continues to own the boards against Tugler and Sinek.

01:16That is going to be the matchup we'll have to watch for, sneaky good game, and the Big 12.

01:23Let's head to the SEC with another good matchup between Kentucky and Alabama.

01:29When you look at Kentucky, you have to look at the play of Otega away, 14.2 points per game.

01:34And a Kentucky team that has underachieved so far in a record of 9-4, going against LeBaron Filon,

01:42who's getting you about 22 points per game and 5.6 assists per game.

01:47This is contrasting styles, although Kentucky can score really besides Georgia.

01:52No one else can score like Georgia, except for probably Alabama.

01:57This is going to be a matchup of styles.

02:01Can Otega away dominate inside, or can Filon and Aiden Holloway bomb away from the outside?

02:11I said this before.

02:12At some point, Mark Pope's team is going to figure it out.

02:17You've got to hope that when they had a little over a week, we're going to have to go versus St. John's.

02:21Could springboard a team that I think still has the talent to make a Final Four?
