00:00Uneven heating or burnt edges in your Ninja Double Oven? Fix it fast!
00:04If one side cooks faster or edges burn before the center,
00:07your rack and tray setup is usually the culprit. Here's how to dial it in.
00:11Step 1. Use the correct rack level for the function.
00:14Top Oven. Use the wire rack for toast, bagel, or broil, and place the sheet pan on the wire rack
00:20for bake. Bottom Oven. Put the air fry basket on the upper rack and put the sheet pan on the lower
00:25rack for bake, convection bake, pizza, air roast, or whole roast. Never place a sheet
00:30pan directly on the heating elements. Step 2. Catch drips to prevent scorched edges.
00:35When cooking greasy or marinated foods, slide a sheet pan on the lower rack under the air fry basket.
00:41It catches drippings so they don't burn and overbrown the food above.
00:44Step 3. Keep airflow open. Remove extra accessories you are not using.
00:48Don't cover the crumb tray or vents with foil. Seat the crumb tray in the correct slot and leave
00:53at least one inch of space around the oven so hot air can circulate evenly.
00:57Step 4. Elevate foods with a roast tray. For convection functions like air roast, air fry,
01:03and whole roast, use a roast tray on top of the sheet pan to lift food off the surface.
01:07This improves air circulation, reduces soggy bottoms, and helps prevent burnt edges.
01:13I've linked a compatible roast tray in the description. Step 5. Rotate the pan halfway.
01:18For sheet pan bakes, turn the pan 180 degrees at the cook midpoint so the side facing the
01:23hotter element swaps sides. This evens out browning in any countertop oven.
01:27Step 6. Avoid over-oiling and high-smoke oils.
01:31Use small amounts of high-heat oils like canola, avocado, or grapeseed.
01:35Heavy coatings or low-smoke oils can singe edges before the center is done.
01:39If you still get lopsided browning after these fixes,
01:42contact Ninja Support using the link in the description before your next cook.
01:46If this helped you get even results again,
01:48subscribe to No Filler Fixes for more fast appliance help.
01:51And if you need a roast tray, I've linked the one I use below.
01:54It lifts food for better airflow and cleaner, crisper edges.
01:57Thanks for watching and may your edges be golden, not charred.
