00:00Smoke pouring from your Ninja Double Oven while cooking?
00:02Fix it fast.
00:04A little steam or faint smoke is normal,
00:06but thick clouds or burning smells mean grease is hitting hot surfaces.
00:10Here's how to stop it before it turns into a fire hazard.
00:13Step 1. Trim excess fat before cooking.
00:15Grease drips are the number one smoke source.
00:18Cut away extra skin or fat so it doesn't melt straight onto the heating elements.
00:22Step 2. Use the right oils.
00:24Spray or brush on a light coat of oil
00:26and choose high smoke point types like avocado, canola, or grapeseed.
00:31Too much oil or low smoke point options like butter
00:33will scorch fast and fill the oven with smoke.
00:37Step 3. Place trays and racks correctly.
00:39Always put the sheet pan on the wire rack, never directly on the elements.
00:43If you're air-frying greasy foods,
00:45slide the sheet pan on the lower rack under the basket to catch drippings safely.
00:49Step 4. Keep airflow clear.
00:52Leave at least one inch of space around the oven
00:54and never cover the crumb tray, vents, or walls with foil.
00:58Blocked air makes grease cook hotter and smoke sooner.
01:01Step 5. Clean hidden grease traps.
01:04When the oven is cool and unplugged, pull out the crumb tray and wash it.
01:08Wipe the door lip, hinge area, and walls with a soft microfiber cloth.
01:12I've linked the one I use in the description.
01:15The heating elements themselves should only be wiped lightly if cool and dry.
01:19Never scrub or spray cleaner directly.
01:21Step 6. Know when it's not normal.
01:23If you see flames, sparking, or thick smoke that doesn't stop after removing greasy food,
01:28power down, unplug, and contact support before using again.
01:32If this helped you stop smoking your oven,
01:34subscribe to No Filler Fixes for more fast appliance help.
01:37And if you need a microfiber cloth for safe wipe downs,
01:40I've linked the one I use below.
01:42Lint-free, non-abrasive, and perfect for grease removal.
01:45Thanks for watching, and keep the smoke in the flavor, not in the air.
