00:00The Land Transportation Officer, LTO, is maintaining strict monitoring of transportation as the new year approaches.
00:07This is part of the Department of Transportation, or DOTR, LTO's initiative, Oplan Biahing Ligtas Pasko 2025.
00:15Following the directive of LTO Chief Assistant Secretary, Marcos Lacanilau,
00:19the LTO Law Enforcement Service, along with regional law enforcement, canine units and LTO personnel,
00:25are closely monitoring North Luzon Expressway and South Luzon Expressway, with the use of their mobile command center.
00:33Monitoring and inspection of public utility vehicles have been intensified to ensure the safety and smooth travel of the public.
00:41The LTO is also continuously providing immediate assistance to passengers,
00:45particularly to persons with disabilities, child passengers and senior citizens.
