00:00:00Ancient pyramids found across the globe,
00:00:05evidence of a connection to a long-lost technology,
00:00:10and theories that these structures hold the key
00:00:14to our extraterrestrial past.
00:00:19For nearly two decades, ancient aliens
00:00:22has traveled the globe exploring towering megalithic structures,
00:00:26mysterious artifacts, and stories of otherworldly beings
00:00:32in a quest for evidence that might reveal the truth
00:00:35of our extraterrestrial origins.
00:00:39Not only are pyramids some of the largest ancient structures
00:00:42on Earth, but when you look at them from above,
00:00:45it's quite striking.
00:00:46Now, we take a look back through the ancient aliens' archives
00:00:51to the show's very origins to examine the evidence
00:00:55that we are not alone.
00:00:58We have never been alone.
00:01:08Pyramids are fundamental to the ancient astronaut theory.
00:01:12I mean, there are these monumental structures
00:01:15that are towering over landscapes.
00:01:17And it's also fascinating that with so many of them,
00:01:20archaeologists have a hard time telling when they were made.
00:01:24And you know, there are theories, of course,
00:01:26but a lot of the pyramids have no writing on them.
00:01:29And stranger still, the local populations
00:01:31can't tell you who built them.
00:01:33Or they just say the gods built them.
00:01:35And another big question is, what was their purpose?
00:01:38Almost everything about the pyramids is a complete mystery.
00:01:42In fact, back in 2012, we dedicated a whole episode
00:01:45to the secrets of the pyramids.
00:01:53Gebel Barkhal, northern Sudan.
00:01:58Tamil Nadu, western India.
00:02:02The Temple of Ur, southeast Iraq.
00:02:06From the ziggurats of ancient Babylon to the temples
00:02:10of the Kush kingdom, pyramids dating as far back as 3,000 BC,
00:02:16exist throughout the world.
00:02:22Pyramids come in many different shapes and sizes.
00:02:24In Mexico, for instance, you get circular pyramids,
00:02:27the step pyramids.
00:02:28And even in Uxmal, in the Yucatan Peninsula,
00:02:31the corners of it are curved.
00:02:34In India, the pyramids are so very, very high, straight up.
00:02:39The same thing happened with the pyramids in Central America.
00:02:42They are like this.
00:02:44While the pyramids in Egypt have this shape.
00:02:47They are different.
00:02:49A pyramid is pretty straightforward.
00:02:52Typically, you have a square base,
00:02:54and you have four sides that are each a triangle
00:02:56and meet at the top.
00:02:57If you want to make anything that's going to be tall,
00:03:00the first thing you would always build
00:03:02would be some type of pyramid, because it's
00:03:04the most stable structure you can imagine making.
00:03:10We have 250 pyramids in Central Chinese province of Shanxi.
00:03:14We have dozens of pyramids in the middle of the Indian Ocean,
00:03:18on the island of Mauritius, Canary Islands, northern Sudan,
00:03:24Egypt, of course, 155 of them.
00:03:27But also 300 pyramids in Peru, pyramids in Bolivia,
00:03:34and, of course, over 10,000 pyramids in Central America.
00:03:38So they are worldwide phenomenon.
00:03:45How is it possible that civilizations spread out over five continents,
00:03:51all built similar pyramidal structures?
00:03:55Ancient astronaut theorists believe most pyramids were constructed by builders
00:04:00who possessed the same advanced knowledge of mathematics, astronomy,
00:04:05and the Earth's geophysical properties.
00:04:09In Montevicchio, Milan, Italy, the pyramids at that location
00:04:13seem to show a very clear resemblance to the pyramids at the Giza Plateau.
00:04:18But without any type of trans-oceanic contact,
00:04:21how is it possible that all these ancient cultures had a similar building style?
00:04:26The Kandisuku Temple in Indonesia has several identical design elements
00:04:31as the pyramids at Chichen Itza.
00:04:35Another Hindu temple in Cambodia mysteriously resembles a Maya temple at Tikal.
00:04:42A possible explanation for all of this is that all of these cultures learned
00:04:49how to build these pyramids from the same teachers.
00:04:53It seems to be way back in prehistory,
00:04:56this whole thing where everyone was building pyramids.
00:05:00And it seems like it came from a much earlier culture
00:05:04and it resonated all around the world.
00:05:06Well, that really is one of the big mysteries of the pyramids themselves
00:05:10is that they seem to be everywhere.
00:05:12And they seem to have similar design, they have similar geometry,
00:05:15they even have the same measurement systems often.
00:05:18So it really does seem like the same group of people or beings
00:05:21were building these pyramids.
00:05:24We see a lot of similarities in terms of composition and cultures
00:05:29far back in time between Peru and Egypt
00:05:32and the Olmecs of southern Mexico.
00:05:36It is quite possible that the ancient Egyptians
00:05:40and the ancient Peruvians were indeed connected,
00:05:43that they actually traveled back and forth,
00:05:46visiting each other and influencing each other's cultures.
00:05:54The Giza Plateau, Egypt.
00:05:57Here, in the desert just outside Cairo, stands the Great Pyramid of Khufu.
00:06:074,500 years ago, it was the tallest and most impressive man-made structure on Earth.
00:06:17But exactly how and why the pyramid was constructed remains a mystery.
00:06:23The Great Pyramid, it is the most wondrous place on Earth.
00:06:31And when you're standing in front of it,
00:06:33you are confronted with the greatest mystery of all time.
00:06:39Who built this place?
00:06:40How could it have been constructed?
00:06:42Why is it still standing?
00:06:44And then when you go inside it,
00:06:46you have the feeling like you are in the hands of an extraordinary intelligence.
00:06:53We've got a structure that is 480 feet high.
00:06:57It covers 13 acres, the two and a half million blocks of stone.
00:07:03The heavier stones weigh 70 tons.
00:07:06They're quartered thousands of tons of granite 500 miles away.
00:07:10It's an amazing structure.
00:07:12To me, the most intriguing thing is the scale of the project.
00:07:19You know, if you want to build the tomb, fair enough.
00:07:21But why go 146 meters high?
00:07:23Why use two and a half million blocks of stones with a mass of six million tons?
00:07:31Mainstream archaeologists theorize that the Great Pyramid was built sometime around 2500 B.C.
00:07:39as the burial tomb of the pharaoh Khufu.
00:07:44But this claim has yet to be proven.
00:07:47And the debate among various researchers over for who,
00:07:51or for what purpose, the structure was built continues.
00:07:57We're told that the Great Pyramid was a tomb for the pharaoh.
00:08:01But there's never been a body found inside the Great Pyramid.
00:08:04We have found pyramids in the 1950s by respected Egyptologists, whereby the tomb was sealed,
00:08:14whereby the sarcophagus was intact, and inside there was no body.
00:08:19There was no corpse.
00:08:20There wasn't even a coffin.
00:08:24And so this notion that we really think that grave robbers somehow were responsible for everything
00:08:31can no longer be maintained.
00:08:32There has to be a reason for them to be there.
00:08:36And there are tremendous expenditure of resources.
00:08:39And if not for a revered leader, they had to have had some benefit for the civilization that built them.
00:08:46So it's a whole controversy.
00:08:48Nobody knows why our ancestors constructed pyramids.
00:08:51But if the pyramids at Giza were not intended to house the remains of dead pharaohs,
00:09:00then why were these towering monuments built?
00:09:05Could there be a connection between the Pyramid of Khufu and other pyramids around the world,
00:09:11one that has been lost to time?
00:09:13Or is it possible that the builders of these engineering marvels had an otherworldly inspiration,
00:09:22as ancient astronaut theorists suggest?
00:09:27Both the Mayans and the Egyptians have legends that the gods came down
00:09:32and gave them instructions to build pyramids.
00:09:37For instance, with the Egyptians, the famous god Thoth is known as the architect of the universe.
00:09:45And it was he who allegedly designed the entire pyramid complex at Giza.
00:09:51Himhotep, the person who was responsible for the first pyramid, actually said that he received this information from the gods.
00:10:05Not so much that god appeared to him and told him, but that he was able to access this information
00:10:12from a different realm. And from there began the pyramid building process.
00:10:15The fact that different cultures throughout this planet would have similar structures, I think, is mind-boggling.
00:10:27What made mankind decide, let's do these pyramid-shaped objects?
00:10:33Unless they were told, unless they were given blueprints, the structures are just unbelievably perfect.
00:10:40You have to come up with a conclusion that, you know, it's very possible that extraterrestrials
00:10:47saw this civilization, gave them knowledge, and took off.
00:10:56Might the thousands of pyramids found throughout the world have a common extraterrestrial connection,
00:11:03as ancient astronaut theorists contend?
00:11:05Perhaps more proof can be found upon closer examination of the Great Pyramid at Giza.
00:11:16Any conversation about pyramids has to start with the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau in Egypt.
00:11:21I mean, these are probably the most impressive structures anywhere on the face of the planet.
00:11:27And even more impressive is when you go inside the pyramids and see the precision
00:11:32of these giant granite chambers and shafts, which are truly astounding.
00:11:37They are. And what's also fascinating or interesting is this is one of the first things that we talked
00:11:42about on Ancient Aliens with Eric Von Daniken, the Great Pyramids. In fact, the next act was the first
00:11:50thing we shot for Ancient Aliens way back on December 21st, 2008, at a time when Ancient Aliens was not a series,
00:12:00but just a one-off two-hour special called Ancient Aliens.
00:12:08When it comes to searching for evidence of ancient aliens,
00:12:13Eric Von Daniken literally leaves no stones unturned.
00:12:17I have collected for more than 40 years information, and there are two sorts of evidences to support
00:12:24my hypothesis. The one source is literature. This might be archaeological or mythological literature,
00:12:33and the other sorts are practical objects. For example, the pyramids are linked to the gods,
00:12:39the gods who once descended from the sky to us earthlings.
00:12:45Perhaps the most familiar and most mysterious megalithic structure in all the world is the Great Pyramid of Giza.
00:12:55The oldest and largest of Egypt's three great pyramids, this miracle of engineering is believed to have been
00:13:02constructed during a 20-year period, ending around 2560 BC. But to ancient alien theorists, those numbers just don't add up.
00:13:13The Great Pyramid was not built in only 22 years, because logistically speaking, you would have to cut,
00:13:25transport, and put into place one stone every nine seconds.
00:13:31And there are modern engineers who have come forward and said, we couldn't do this in 22 years either.
00:13:41There are all kinds of theories on how the Great Pyramid of Giza was built. So many theories,
00:13:47you just sit back and shake your head. And that includes ET visitations, levitating the blocks with
00:13:55some kind of sound system, anti-gravity, thousands of workers pulling long ropes on a ramp that had to be
00:14:04almost two miles long to get it up to where it is.
00:14:08All I know is that they are so finely aligned and that the architecture is so precise that even
00:14:19modern people today with great technology would have a difficult time being that good.
00:14:29How, for example, in the inside of the pyramids, in the tombs, could they build granite and marble areas
00:14:35that were just so perfect and so clean? You mean to tell me that people of that time period did this by hand?
00:14:46I don't think so.
00:14:50The enormous size and weight of the stones, multiplied by the sheer number of them, makes one thing certain.
00:14:58The construction of the Great Pyramid remains one of the greatest marvels and mysteries of
00:15:04architectural engineering.
00:15:07I don't want to discount human ingenuity because I do believe that we do have the ability to do
00:15:11these things over a longer period of time. But the knowledge to build some of these monuments,
00:15:16there had to have been some type of intervention or some type of knowledge given to ancient man
00:15:21to carry out those instructions. They couldn't have just come up with it on their own.
00:15:24In Egypt, there are old traditions saying the Great Pyramid was constructed by a pharaoh with the name of
00:15:32Saurite. And then they say Saurite is the same which the Hebrew community calls Enoch.
00:15:42Enoch is a prophet in the Old Testament. There are books of Enoch called the apocryphic texts.
00:15:49You make a connection with Enoch to these extraterrestrials.
00:15:53He clearly says he met these extraterrestrials. Now we have writings in the book of Enoch and he gave the
00:16:01order to construct a building which cannot be destroyed by the thousands of years of the future.
00:16:07And the ancient Egyptian texts speak that the pyramids were built by human beings with the assistance
00:16:23of the guardians of the sky, meaning the gods. And so we have proposed that the pyramids were built
00:16:34by human hands, but with the assistance of extraterrestrial technology.
00:16:43As one of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid remains not only an archaeological mystery,
00:16:50but a geographical marvel. In 1877, author and theologian Joseph Seiss demonstrated that the Great Pyramid
00:17:00resides at the intersection of the longest line of latitude and the longest line of longitude,
00:17:07the exact center of all the landmass in the world. Also, each of its four sides aligns almost precisely
00:17:16with the four points of the compass, though such an instrument wasn't even designed until thousands of
00:17:23years later. But is it just mere coincidence that pyramid construction, very similar to that practiced
00:17:33in ancient Egypt, was also evolving halfway around the world? There are pyramids on remote Pacific islands,
00:17:42and in India, and in Mexico. So this is something that's all over the world.
00:17:50Archaeologists haven't really been able to explain why dissimilar cultures separated by huge oceans are
00:17:58building the same structures, and in many ways the same way. Here in central Mexico stands an ancient
00:18:08city that dates back more than 2,000 years. Its name, Teotihuacan, literally means city of the gods.
00:18:16And located at its center is the Pyramid of the Sun. Incredibly, this pyramid's perimeter is virtually the same as
00:18:27that of the Great Pyramid of Giza. A structural coincidence? Or could it be that both were inspired by the same designers?
00:18:37A couple theories. A couple theories for that. Okay, one, maybe they were all taught the same thing by an extraterrestrial race.
00:18:47Two, there were ancient travelers from within this planet who went from one area to another over the
00:18:53thousands of past years. And then as some skeptics will say, hey, that's the greatest archaeological way to
00:19:00make it. So they just knew it. I don't think that's the case.
00:19:09At Teotihuacan, here you have a giant pyramid of the sun and a giant pyramid of the moon. According to the
00:19:16legends, these things were built by gods who were giants at the end of one of the destructions of the world.
00:19:23Civilizations such as the Aztecs and the Mayans and the Hopi Indians of northern Arizona,
00:19:31they believe that the world has been destroyed four times in the past. One time by ice, once by fire,
00:19:38once by water.
00:19:43Each time, mankind rebuilds again. And Teotihuacan supposedly was built just at the beginning of one of
00:19:51these four worlds. You may ask the question, why build these huge, huge structures? For what purpose?
00:20:11The Giza necropolis, Egypt, 1993.
00:20:15A team of engineers uses a remotely operated camera in an attempt to discover the true function
00:20:25of what is believed to be an air shaft, leading from the supposed queen's chamber of the Great Pyramid.
00:20:33First discovered in 1872, archaeologists long considered these narrow tunnels to be ventilation
00:20:40and ducts. This robot traveled up this small shaft, which was too small for a human or any type of device
00:20:48to go through. And all of a sudden, it finds a closed door hinged by two little metal clamps.
00:20:57According to mainstream archaeologists, the door and metal handles were intentionally built as a
00:21:04symbolic passageway that the queen would travel through to the afterlife.
00:21:12But some researchers have questioned why this passageway would have been designed with a deliberate
00:21:18blockage. And why, on a plateau filled with monumental pyramids believed to serve as royal tombs,
00:21:28is the Great Pyramid the only one with such a door?
00:21:32Egyptologists are very much fond of saying that pyramids are tombs and that they have been robbed
00:21:38at some point in the past. But the fact is that we have found in the 20th century a number of pyramids
00:21:46whose central king's chamber, so to speak, is intact. And when they opened a sarcophagus,
00:21:53they found that sarcophagus to be empty as well.
00:21:56If the Great Pyramid was not a tomb, what may have been its true purpose?
00:22:07In May 2011, another team of researchers set out to further explore the blocked air shaft in the
00:22:14queen's chamber. This time, the crew used a robot, equipped with a micro snake camera,
00:22:21to slip through a hole and reveal what was beyond the door.
00:22:25When they actually penetrated this small door, they found a hidden room within the pyramid.
00:22:30What they found was copper fittings, or the metal fittings. Another feature of the back of these metal fittings
00:22:40was that on one side, the loop looked like it was corroded.
00:22:46The camera also looked down and scanned the floor. What we saw was red markings. My interpretation of
00:22:57those were, they were electrical symbols, but why were they there? Could these artifacts be actual
00:23:05evidence that electricity once coursed through the structure?
00:23:09And if so, could the Great Pyramid of Giza have been built to serve as not a royal tomb, but a power
00:23:20plant, as some researchers contend? If we dismiss the tomb theory and we look at the pyramid itself,
00:23:30we see something that modern engineers can really tune into and understand.
00:23:36What we have is a very, very precise building that has the precision of a fraction of an inch.
00:23:46It's something that is very noteworthy and not indicative of a simple agrarian culture.
00:23:53So what we have is something that is almost like a machine.
00:23:58If the Great Pyramid was a sophisticated machine, potentially capable of creating energy,
00:24:04how could it have worked? Some researchers believe clues can be found by exploring underneath the
00:24:12structure. In 2000, maritime engineer John Cadman proposed a theory that the Egyptians pumped water
00:24:22from the nearby Nile River into a small chamber underneath the Great Pyramid.
00:24:29The pump could then create intense hydraulic pressure that would cause the entire pyramid to vibrate.
00:24:42In the subterranean chamber, there is some evidence that shows that there had been water present in it,
00:24:48and that there's water erosion on the floor, and then up in the fin area, and then also,
00:24:56because it was a hydraulic pulse generator. So you have a rarefaction wave, it's extremely low pressure
00:25:05wave, which would have struck the ceiling, and the ceiling is actually chipped, and that would bend
00:25:11from the actual compression waves hitting the ceiling. That's very evident.
00:25:19If Cadman's theory proves true, what would have been the purpose of the hydraulic pulse?
00:25:25Engineer Chris Dunn believes the answer can be found by further examination of the shafts in what some
00:25:32call the queen's chamber, where traces of zinc and hydrochloric acid have been discovered.
00:25:41I believe the chemical coming in through the northern shaft was hydrated zinc, and the other
00:25:48chemical coming through the southern shaft and into the chamber was dilute hydrochloric acid.
00:25:55These are actually seen on the chamber walls. Dunn suggests that the two chemicals were poured down
00:26:04through the shafts, and then mixed together inside the queen's chamber, triggering combustion.
00:26:14This vessel represents the queen's chamber. Into the tubes, we're going to pour hydrated zinc,
00:26:21and then hydrochloric acid. When you bring these two liquids together and a chemical reaction occurs,
00:26:33and a product of that chemical reaction is hydrogen. And you can see the vapor, the hydrogen escaping
00:26:43through the chimney, and there you have the reaction.
00:26:46Dunn speculates that the hydrogen gas traveled from the queen's chamber into the king's chamber.
00:26:56Then, the vibrations from the subterranean pool energized the hydrogen atoms into a microwave energy
00:27:04beam. The evidence that indicates the use of hydrogen can be found in the king's chamber.
00:27:13There is a shaft in the king's chamber has dimensions of 8.4 by 4.8, which would be suitable for a waveguide
00:27:26for a maser or microwave amplification through stimulated emission radiation. And from there,
00:27:34we can actually propose many different ideas of what they did with it.
00:27:38So, might the Great Pyramid of Giza actually have created power in the remote past?
00:27:46And is it possible that energy ran the advanced tools of early builders and devices like the Dandera bulb?
00:27:54We can use our imaginations and come up with all kinds of devices to power with that kind of energy,
00:28:05from simple domestic appliances to highly advanced spacecraft. I mean, both things are possible.
00:28:13The ancient Egyptians demonstrated an exceptional level of skill in everything that they created
00:28:21during the Old Kingdom. But the question remains, did they do it on their own? Or did they have some
00:28:29access to information or technology that was not of this earth?
00:28:35If Giza was, in fact, a power plant, could the energy have been used for some otherworldly purpose,
00:28:44as some ancient astronaut theorists suggest? And if the power coming from Giza was that strong,
00:28:52could it have traveled beyond Egypt?
00:28:55For me, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the greatest pyramid ever built. But right here in North America,
00:29:04there's a pyramid site that is just as mysterious as any place on earth. And that's Teotihuacan in Mexico.
00:29:10Absolutely. And what's also crazy is that just like in Giza, three of the pyramids align directly
00:29:18with the belt stars of Orion. And there are building materials there that suggest it also could have
00:29:23served a technological function. I mean, it's mind-blowing. And in my opinion, it's not a coincidence.
00:29:29Central Mexico, 35 miles northeast of Mexico City.
00:29:36Here, in a highlands plateau, lies the enormous archaeological site of the ancient city of Teotihuacan.
00:29:44Teotihuacan. Established around 100 BC, and lasting until its fall between the 7th and 8th centuries,
00:29:55Teotihuacan was one of the largest cities in the ancient world, with over 150,000 inhabitants at its peak.
00:30:03When you enter this city, you're immediately struck by sort of that modern layout of this city.
00:30:11You have a street of the dead that goes for miles, along which you have all of the major
00:30:18ceremonial architecture, including some of the largest buildings ever erected in the New World.
00:30:27According to scholars, the advanced design of Teotihuacan suggests that ancient builders
00:30:34had knowledge, not only of architecture, but of complex mathematical and astronomical sciences.
00:30:42From the air, the city's layout strangely resembles a computer circuit board,
00:30:48with two large processor chips, the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid.
00:30:53Researchers have also found numerous and remarkable similarities to the Great Pyramids of Egypt.
00:31:08When we look at these buildings, we find the same mathematics incorporated into them
00:31:13than what we find in the Great Pyramid and the surrounding pyramids of the Giza Plateau.
00:31:16The Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza and the Sun Pyramid at Teotihuacan
00:31:25apparently have about the same base, almost 750 feet square.
00:31:29The base perimeter of the Pyramid of the Sun is four pi times its height. In Giza,
00:31:38it's two times pi its height. Essentially, the Pyramid of the Sun is exactly half as tall
00:31:47as the Pyramid of Giza.
00:31:48Teotihuacan is created according to a specific layout. The Temple of the Sun,
00:31:57the Temple of the Moon, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl are in the same layout as Orion's Belt,
00:32:04which is basically the formation which the three pyramids of the Giza Plateau have been laid out into as well.
00:32:11Might the design and layout of Teotihuacan be comparable to that of Giza because of similar
00:32:22influence by extraterrestrial visitors, as ancient astronaut theorists believe?
00:32:28When you have similar pyramid complexes, like the ones at Teotihuacan and the ones at Giza,
00:32:35you have to kind of think that, yeah, the same builders, the same designers are behind these giant complexes.
00:32:46But perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Teotihuacan is the finding by archaeologists
00:32:52of the extensive use of mica embedded in numerous structures, a mineral only found 3,000 miles away in Brazil.
00:33:02It's found in all buildings, housing complexes, temples, and along the roads. It's found everywhere.
00:33:13These mica sheets were probably transported from thousands of miles away from Brazil. That's the
00:33:19nearest source. Now, why would you want to do that? Because they were obviously not there for
00:33:26decoration because you couldn't see them.
00:33:27Mica has some electrical properties that make it very good for being an insulator. It resists
00:33:36the transmission of electricity. It's also very good at being able to be stable at high temperatures,
00:33:42so that it can be used in furnace windows and oven windows. It is clear so you can see through it,
00:33:47and at the same time, it stands up to the temperature and electrical discharges.
00:33:51So we know that they must have had a very specific and good reason to incorporate it. And the only
00:33:58possible reasons really why they would be doing this is because somehow it was part of some technology.
00:34:05Recently, archaeologists have also discovered large quantities of mica crystals in a subterranean
00:34:12chamber, as well as in several shafts that run beneath the Avenue of the Dead.
00:34:21There is an underground shaft that goes from the mica chamber in direction of the Pyramid of the Sun.
00:34:29So is it possible that this mica chamber contained some type of an energy producing device?
00:34:39A power plant that fed some of the other pyramids? It is possible.
00:34:50There's many similarities between the pyramids at Teotihuacan and the pyramids at Giza.
00:34:55Both have inner chambers. It's thought by some that the Great Pyramid itself was a massive microwave
00:35:05generator, literally sending a beam up to a satellite or powering some other kind of
00:35:12spacecraft or installation. We could have had the same thing happening here at Teotihuacan.
00:35:19If the Pyramid of the Sun were really designed to generate power, as ancient astronaut theorists believe,
00:35:32could its mica-lined chambers and shafts have served as an interconnecting power grid for the entire city?
00:35:40Or could the use of mica have served another, perhaps more, protective purpose?
00:35:49NASA uses mica to deflect the heat on many of their crafts, such as the space shuttle.
00:35:56On re-entry, the bottom part of the space shuttle is all lined with mica and is a perfect deflector
00:36:02of large amounts of heat.
00:36:05Could the mica Teotihuacan also have been used to shield and protect the ancient people,
00:36:10perhaps from the blast of an extraterrestrial rocket taking off, or even the radiation maybe from some
00:36:18kind of spacecraft?
00:36:24But if the ancient builders of Teotihuacan used mica for the purposes of power generation
00:36:31and radiation protection, then where did their advanced engineering and construction knowledge come from?
00:36:39The earliest descriptions at Teotihuacan talk about gods descending from the sky
00:36:45in ships or winged serpents, and that something extraordinary happened there.
00:36:51Teotihuacan, like the ancient Egyptian pyramids, is believed to have been built by the gods,
00:36:59and the gods ascended into the heavens in craft that we today think of be rocket ships.
00:37:06The builders certainly must have learned these secrets from the gods themselves.
00:37:13An interesting similarity with many of these ancient sites were reports of the gods ascending
00:37:18and descending from the heavens. It's very possible that these were actually being used as landing
00:37:23sites. So it's very possible that the knowledge to build Teotihuacan was given to us by extraterrestrials.
00:37:33Do the ancient legends of flying alien beings and other strange creatures provide proof that ancient
00:37:41aliens did, in fact, influence the incredible architectural achievements of Teotihuacan?
00:37:48And if so, might the same connection be found at other pyramid sites around the world?
00:37:56Ancient astronaut theorists say yes, and suggest further evidence can be found by looking at pyramids,
00:38:04not from the ground, but from above.
00:38:10Not only are pyramids some of the largest ancient structures on Earth,
00:38:14but when you look at them from above in an aerial image, it's quite striking.
00:38:19Yeah, and then when you combine that with the fact that many of them are aligned to the stars,
00:38:23you just have to wonder, could they have served as like beacons?
00:38:26Yeah, I mean, could they be some kind of landmarks for extraterrestrials to come to Earth?
00:38:32Egypt, 1940.
00:38:41While flying above the Giza Plateau, a British Air Force pilot photographs one of the most amazing
00:38:47features of the Great Pyramid. The structure actually has eight sides instead of four.
00:38:54This baffling phenomenon is only detectable from the air at dawn and sunset on the spring and autumn equinoxes,
00:39:05when the sun casts shadows on the pyramid that reveal the eight-sided, slightly concaved construction.
00:39:11This is a light show whereby the ancestors who built this knew that something visually spectacular
00:39:21would be seen on these important calendar days.
00:39:27We realized that whoever built this was aware of the solar cycle.
00:39:33And we also know that the person who built it had extraordinary understanding of mathematics.
00:39:38All of these things make it clear that of all pyramids, the Great Pyramid really is in a league of its own.
00:39:49Why is the Great Pyramid's true shape only visible from above at the equinox?
00:39:57And how did ancient man create such an intricate design that is exposed just twice a year
00:40:05and can only be seen from the sky?
00:40:09Ancient astronaut theorists believe clues can be found by examining the unique
00:40:14geographical and architectural characteristics of the towering structure.
00:40:19According to scholars, the Great Pyramid was built on what is considered to be
00:40:24the center of all the land masses of Earth.
00:40:28The massive structure is almost perfectly aligned to magnetic north.
00:40:33The Great Pyramid was built on what is considered to be the center of Earth.
00:40:34Inside the pyramid, the designers added small shafts aligned towards two specific constellations,
00:40:41Orion and Sirius.
00:40:43The four shafts are not only aligned perfectly on a north-south axis, but one shaft also points
00:40:53directly toward Orion's belt.
00:40:55Mainstream scientists believe shafts like these were simply used as ventilation during construction.
00:41:06But might there be another reason why they align with the stars?
00:41:12They used to call it an air shaft, but the Great Pyramid is now known to be a star shaft.
00:41:17It's known to have been oriented to the passage of Orion's belt.
00:41:22And it's thought to have represented the release of the soul back to its origin.
00:41:30There is much to suggest that this correlation is not a coincidence.
00:41:35We know that the ancient Egyptian pyramids builders believed that the king was going to become a star in Orion.
00:41:42The whole concept that the three pyramids at Giza are in a special alignment of Orion's belt is very interesting.
00:41:58The Mayans constructed hundreds of thousands of pyramids throughout Central America.
00:42:05Many of these pyramids may be designed to reflect certain constellations in the sky,
00:42:10like the Orion constellations or others. The old saying is, as above, so below.
00:42:18But why would the pyramid builders design their pyramids to reflect star constellations?
00:42:24Might the reason for specific placement of the pyramids on Earth be something that only the ancients understood?
00:42:33Pyramids in general tend to be very large in scale and can only be truly seen from above.
00:42:40So it's quite possible that the earliest pyramids were made as beacons,
00:42:47as a way for those not of this world to connect with those of this world.
00:42:54Maybe they were moving around the Earth and using these places,
00:42:58not just as sacred places, but in order to know where they were.
00:43:01But these pyramids are like geodetic markers marking power spots around the planet.
00:43:10They really can be seen from the air. They're almost designed from above.
00:43:15I believe that there's a deep mystery with them and we really have to look at it from a different perspective
00:43:19to try and find the answer to that mystery.
00:43:23Is it possible the thousands of pyramids scattered across the globe were once part of a cohesive network?
00:43:32One that could only be understood from the sky?
00:43:34Why? And who or what could have coordinated such a precise design?
00:43:48Magalang, Indonesia.
00:43:52The Borobudur Temple on the island of Java is the world's largest Buddhist monument.
00:43:57The Borobudur Temple on the island of Java is the world's largest Buddhist monument.
00:43:59Built during the 8th and 9th centuries AD, this religious structure with its wide base and tiered mound
00:44:07is another example of a pyramid. Consisting of six rectangular terraces,
00:44:13topped by three concentric circular terraces, this intricate pyramid design has intrigued scholars,
00:44:20especially when viewed from the air.
00:44:23Borobudur is definitely not an obvious pyramid, but it is. It is a stepped pyramid on top of which have
00:44:33been built structures. From overhead, the temple takes the form of a giant Buddhist mandala.
00:44:44A unique circular diagram representing both the cosmos and a spiritual place for prayer and meditation.
00:44:53The design indicates that this pyramid was once a place where man connected with the gods.
00:45:03Researchers question why and how the builders would create such an intricate religious symbol
00:45:10that can only be viewed from the air. But according to ancient astronaut theorists,
00:45:16the answer can be found on top of the pyramid, where there are 72 bell-shaped structures known as stupas,
00:45:24each housing a seated statue of Buddha.
00:45:30They are considered to be world eggs or wombs of transformation. The ancient Indians were telling
00:45:37us that these are in fact ladders or cosmic stairways into the heavens.
00:45:45The journey didn't happen in their heads. It wasn't something ethereal. It wasn't something spiritual.
00:45:51It happened. Extraterrestrial contact took place in Indonesia thousands of years ago.
00:45:59Were these stupas really built as a metaphor for spiritual enlightenment,
00:46:07as mainstream archaeologists believe? Or might they have been constructed to serve another,
00:46:13even more profound purpose? One thing is for certain. The mystery of these global pyramids
00:46:21deepens, as more hidden structures come to light.
00:46:25We now know that there are literally hundreds of ancient pyramids around the world. Just imagine
00:46:34how many we still haven't discovered. Yeah, I mean, thanks to modern technology,
00:46:38we now know that there are pyramids beneath the sands of Egypt and beneath the jungles of Central and
00:46:43South America. Right. And some are even underwater. In fact, we did an episode about this back in 2015 on
00:46:51ancient aliens. Western China, May 21st, 1992. An underground nuclear explosion on the Lop Nord test range
00:47:08sends shockwaves through the earth. The event is recorded by US government seismometers, which reveal
00:47:17unexpected geological anomalies under the earth just north of Anchorage, Alaska. Six months later,
00:47:26a US Army counterintelligence officer stationed at nearby Fort Richardson, Douglas Mutchler, sees a local
00:47:33news report that claims these underground scans had detected a colossal pyramid structure 50 miles southwest of
00:47:42Mount McKinley. Muchler contacts the station to find out more. But mysteriously, they tell him no further information is available.
00:47:59There has been talk that there's a pyramid up in Alaska.
00:48:03Yeah. But nobody seems to be investigating that, maybe because it's so remote, or maybe they have
00:48:10investigated it, and they just don't want to tell us about it. Frustrated by the lack of information,
00:48:20Sergeant Mutchler contacts journalist Linda Moulton Howe, who reaches out across her network,
00:48:26searching for anyone that could shed light on the Alaska pyramid story. Soon after,
00:48:34she receives a response from a man who requests to remain anonymous. He claims his father was an engineer
00:48:42who got a firsthand look at the secret pyramid. His father had had a Navy career and then was asked to
00:48:50continue to continue to work in Alaska on a very special project that involved something underground that put out a lot of energy.
00:49:04There were mining shaft elevators on the surface.
00:49:10He would go down to the base of a huge underground pyramid.
00:49:15He would go down to the base of a huge underground pyramid.
00:49:19His work was to try to understand how this was giving off what they estimated was a gigantic amount of energy.
00:49:32But he never would talk because this was a government secret.
00:49:39There is no doubt in my mind that there is a cover-up going on,
00:49:43and that something was found there in Alaska.
00:49:48I think the reason why it's been covered up is that we would have to completely rewrite
00:49:53the science of human origins, the concept that at one point there was a global industrialized civilization
00:50:00that had reached a technology that is in fact superior to our own,
00:50:04because we cannot easily build pyramids like this today.
00:50:07Could it be, as some ancient astronaut theorists suggest, that the United States government
00:50:16is hiding the Alaskan pyramid until they can fully comprehend and harness its power?
00:50:23Perhaps the answer can be found 4,400 miles away.
00:50:27While transporting supplies from India, U.S. Army Air Corps pilot James Gaussman
00:50:42spots a mysterious structure that becomes known as the Great White Pyramid.
00:50:47One of the most unusual stories of pyramids came out of World War II. The story is of an American pilot who
00:50:58was flying the Burma hump over to Chongqing in central China. And what he claimed he saw was a huge
00:51:07pyramid in the valley with a gigantic crystal capstone on the top of it.
00:51:19Two years later, the New York Times reported that Colonel Marie Sheehan,
00:51:24another American aviator flying over central China, spotted a 1,000-foot-high pyramid in the same area.
00:51:32Since then, many more pyramidal structures have been discovered throughout the region,
00:51:40some of them covered in vegetation, seemingly camouflaged to look like natural formations.
00:51:48But the Chinese government denies that there are any pyramids in China at all,
00:51:54claiming that any structures resembling pyramids are actually burial mounds from the Han dynasty.
00:52:00There are a number of large pyramids in central China. But the Chinese government has gone out of
00:52:08their way to try to dismiss the idea that these mounds are pyramids.
00:52:16Still to this day, the subject of the Chinese pyramids is very rarely discussed. However, you can go on
00:52:23Google Earth and you can see the pyramids of the Xi'an province for yourself by just zooming in on this area.
00:52:32But the Chinese government does not want you to go in this area. It is declared off limits to everyone
00:52:37except for the local peasant farmers in that region. What are they hiding?
00:52:45Could these pyramids reveal a different version of history than what the Chinese government wants us to know?
00:52:51Could these pyramids reveal a different view of the pyramids?
00:52:53Curiously, other modern discoveries of pyramids have been met with similar denials.
00:53:00In 2005, Dr. Sam Osmanigic, a professor of anthropology and amateur archaeologist,
00:53:09announced that he had found five ancient pyramids hidden in Bosnia,
00:53:14a claim that the Bosnian government initially supported, but then later denied.
00:53:22When I first saw the pyramids in Bosnia, they looked like hills, but you could see the regular geometry,
00:53:29four triangular faces, obvious corners. And when I took the compass, the compass shows me that those sides
00:53:37the pyramids match cardinal points. I knew immediately that these were artificial structures below the layers of soil and vegetation.
00:53:50They tell us that the pyramids were built only in Egypt and Mexico. Wrong.
00:53:54They are built on all six continents, from Asia, Africa, Europe, Central, North and South America.
00:54:06So they are worldwide phenomena. In 21st century, we will need to establish a new science,
00:54:14which will finally answer to question to who, when, how and why built the oldest and the most superior pyramids.
00:54:25But why would governments around the world want to try and discredit these new discoveries of pyramids?
00:54:33World governments might not want to be forthcoming with this information,
00:54:37just like we've seen with the Chinese government. Places like Alaska and others
00:54:41might also hold hidden wells of archaeological finds that we still have yet to uncover.
00:54:48Are there ancient pyramids that are deliberately being kept secret from the public?
00:54:52Might the discovery of these and an untold number of other hidden pyramids
00:54:59expose the truth about our origins?
00:55:04Perhaps further clues can be found by examining pyramids discovered underwater.
00:55:10Yonaguni Island, Japan, September 1997.
00:55:24Multiple teams of researchers, geologists, and professional divers launch an underwater expedition
00:55:30near the southernmost of the remote Ryukyu Islands.
00:55:36They are there to investigate a mysterious stone configuration known as the Yonaguni Pyramid.
00:55:42The Yonaguni monument has been altered by carving,
00:55:56and it has been very carefully carved into megaliths, platforms, stairways.
00:56:15The only problem is that it's built for giants.
00:56:22The stairs are immense.
00:56:24So who built this monument, and what cataclysmic events sent it to the bottom of the sea?
00:56:29There are all these different cuts that seem to be of artificial origin and not of a natural origin,
00:56:38because it's too precise.
00:56:42It was the Yonaguni artificially altered at a time when the water levels of the oceans were lower.
00:56:53We know that this happened at some point during the last ice age, which was 14,000 years ago.
00:57:01Now we have to remember that at the end of the last ice age,
00:57:05sea levels were as much as 300-plus feet lower than they are today.
00:57:12So at that time, this structure would have been above sea level.
00:57:17It would have been, at that time, dry land.
00:57:23Could the massive underwater structure known as Yonaguni
00:57:27really be the remnants of an advanced civilization that existed here on Earth more than 10,000 years ago?
00:57:35Ancient astronaut theorists say yes, and claim that further evidence can be found
00:57:41in Polynesian stories of a long-lost continent called Mu.
00:57:47The Yonaguni monument may represent the remains of a transpacific civilization that the Polynesians
00:57:53called Mu. There is evidence throughout Polynesia for an ancient megalithic civilization.
00:57:59There are similar ruins off the coast of Ponepe. The ruins are partially submerged.
00:58:07This lost continent of Mu was in the middle of the Pacific Ocean,
00:58:11and it encompassed Hawaii, and Tahiti, Tonga, and Samoa, and even Easter Island were all part of this
00:58:22lost continent of Mu.
00:58:24And the central pyramid complex in Tonga is called Mu-A.
00:58:36While most conventional scholars dismiss the story of Mu as being mythology,
00:58:41ancient astronaut theorists suggest an enormous new discovery in Southeast Asia could provide
00:58:49irrefutable evidence that this lost civilization did, in fact, exist.
00:58:54West Java, Indonesia. Located in Karyamukti village is a mysterious site called
00:59:07Ganong Padong, or Mountain of Enlightenment. For thousands of years, the local population revered
00:59:15Ganong Padong as a sacred site, and many came here to meditate among the giant stone blocks.
00:59:23But in 1914, Dutch explorers discovered that the basalt columns scattered across the hilltop
00:59:30are not natural features at all. They are, in fact, fragments of an ancient megalithic site.
00:59:39A century later, in 2013, the Indonesian government sponsored an excavation to see if anything
00:59:46was hidden beneath the layers of dirt and rubble. What they found was evidence that suggests
00:59:53Ganong Padong is the world's oldest steppe pyramid.
01:00:00Ganong Padong is probably the most remarkable megalithic structure in the whole of Southeast Asia.
01:00:09What it consists of is a hillside, on the top of which are a series of terraces,
01:00:16on which are structures made from basaltic pillars and other types of structure.
01:00:22Ganong Padong is a historical area.
01:00:30But what is really important is the age of it. It has been analyzed by Indonesian geologists,
01:00:33And he seemed to have very good data from boreholes,
01:00:36from radiocarbon analysis, from seismic sections,
01:00:40as I've done around the Great Sphinx,
01:00:42that this site goes back an incredible 20,000 or so years,
01:00:49maybe slightly more than that.
01:00:53According to geologists, 20,000 years ago,
01:00:57Java, where Ganong Padong is located, was not an isolated island.
01:01:02But the southernmost part of a subcontinent known as Sundaland.
01:01:09This has led some researchers to speculate that Ganong Padong,
01:01:14with its high elevation, could have been at the pinnacle of a civilization
01:01:18that disappeared sometime around 10,000 B.C.
01:01:23When melting ice caps flooded the region
01:01:26and turned it into the series of islands it is today.
01:01:29The compelling suggestion is that there was some sort of civilization here
01:01:36before this flood took place,
01:01:38that they built this with advanced technology,
01:01:41and therefore they were extraterrestrial visitors to the Earth.
01:01:47And that's why archaeologists are not finding the evidence
01:01:50that we would normally expect to see
01:01:52showing a geometric progression of technology
01:01:56leading up to the ability to build a gigantic pyramid
01:01:59well over 12,000 years ago.
01:02:06Ancient astronaut theorists believe Sundaland
01:02:09is only one piece of an enormous underwater puzzle
01:02:13that when put together will reveal
01:02:15that there was an advanced culture here on Earth
01:02:18tens of thousands of years ago.
01:02:25But why did they build pyramids?
01:02:28Is it possible pyramids played a powerful central role
01:02:32in the colonization of the planet?
01:02:35Ancient astronaut theorists suggest
01:02:37the answers may lie not only underwater
01:02:41but buried beneath the ice of Antarctica.
01:02:48You know, the last place you would expect to find pyramids
01:02:51is at the South Pole.
01:02:52But recently people are talking about evidence
01:02:55that there are pyramids beneath the ice in Antarctica.
01:02:59Yeah, and if this is true,
01:03:01then that means that these pyramids were built at a time
01:03:04when the Earth's climate was different
01:03:07and it also means that pyramid building
01:03:10is much older than what we're being told.
01:03:13It's a fascinating topic
01:03:14and there's a surprising amount of evidence.
01:03:17We featured it in a 2016 episode,
01:03:19Pyramids of Antarctica.
01:03:24Stretching over 5 million square miles
01:03:27across the southernmost reaches of the Earth
01:03:30lies the coldest and most isolated continent
01:03:34in the world, Antarctica.
01:03:40Because of its hostile climate,
01:03:42including average daily temperatures
01:03:44of minus 49 degrees Fahrenheit
01:03:47and wind speeds of over 200 miles per hour,
01:03:52Antarctica remains largely untouched by mankind.
01:03:57According to historical records,
01:04:00modern man did not even set foot on the continent
01:04:03until 1853
01:04:05when ship captain Mercator Cooper
01:04:08landed on what is now known
01:04:11as the Oats Coast of Victoria Land.
01:04:15Today, anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 people
01:04:19reside at the research stations
01:04:21scattered across the continent,
01:04:23braving the extreme conditions
01:04:25in hopes of learning more
01:04:27about this mysterious landscape.
01:04:30The thing about Antarctica
01:04:35is that as much as 98% of it
01:04:40is covered in ice.
01:04:43And just occasionally,
01:04:44there are little areas that stick out,
01:04:47mountain tops, ridges, peaks.
01:04:51Antarctica is the least explored of the continents.
01:04:54Even the North Pole, which is just ice,
01:04:56has been explored more.
01:04:57It is a mystery,
01:04:58and it's right here on the Earth.
01:05:00It's perhaps the last big unexplored part
01:05:03of our home planet.
01:05:06Antarctica is a vast, frozen world,
01:05:09and we know very little about it.
01:05:12And in fact,
01:05:14the ice in Antarctica
01:05:15is up to three miles thick
01:05:17in certain places.
01:05:18And what's beneath the ice
01:05:20is still largely a mystery to scientists.
01:05:24You just have to imagine this.
01:05:26The Sears Tower
01:05:26is a little less
01:05:28under a third of a mile tall.
01:05:30So you have to imagine
01:05:32that you can stack
01:05:33nine Sears Towers
01:05:34on top of each other,
01:05:36and they would still not peek out
01:05:38from that ice sheet.
01:05:39Most geologists believe
01:05:43Antarctica has been completely frozen
01:05:46and uninhabited
01:05:47for over 12 million years.
01:05:50But in 2013,
01:05:53new photographs revealed
01:05:54formations in the landscape
01:05:56that challenged this notion.
01:05:59Mysterious pyramid structures
01:06:01emerging from the now melting ice.
01:06:04recently there have been
01:06:08a number of reports
01:06:10of pyramids
01:06:12being found
01:06:13on Antarctica.
01:06:15There are various photographs
01:06:17that show
01:06:18what appear to be
01:06:19perfect
01:06:21four-sided pyramids,
01:06:22very similar
01:06:23in design
01:06:24to those
01:06:25at Giza,
01:06:27Egypt,
01:06:28and perhaps
01:06:29other places
01:06:29around the world.
01:06:33While the photographs
01:06:34were explained away
01:06:35by mainstream scientists
01:06:37as nothing more
01:06:38than natural land formations,
01:06:41satellite imagery analysts
01:06:43like Joseph White
01:06:44are not entirely convinced.
01:06:47In March of 2013,
01:06:50he uncovered
01:06:50what he believes
01:06:51is evidence
01:06:53of yet another pyramid
01:06:54located just south
01:06:56of Antarctica's remote
01:06:58Shackleton mountain range.
01:07:00I initially found
01:07:01the structure
01:07:02whilst looking on Google Earth.
01:07:03I was in fact
01:07:04looking at some of
01:07:04the rather strange
01:07:05blank spots
01:07:06that you get
01:07:07in Antarctica.
01:07:08When I stumbled
01:07:08upon this very large
01:07:10square structure
01:07:11which seems to be
01:07:12some kind of building
01:07:13or perhaps even a pyramid
01:07:15but certainly
01:07:16very large
01:07:17and very square,
01:07:18it actually lines up
01:07:19perfectly with the coordinates
01:07:20of the compass,
01:07:22north, south, east, and west.
01:07:24And this dictates to me
01:07:26that it's probably
01:07:27an intelligent structure
01:07:28because random structures
01:07:30like mountains
01:07:30are not aligned
01:07:31to the compass.
01:07:32and another way
01:07:34that we know
01:07:35that a structure
01:07:36is not naturally occurring
01:07:37is generally
01:07:38to look for symmetry.
01:07:40Things like right angles
01:07:40and equilateral triangles
01:07:42and shapes
01:07:44that you would not
01:07:45normally find in nature.
01:07:46This structure
01:07:47is exactly
01:07:48two kilometers square.
01:07:51This corner
01:07:52to this corner
01:07:53is two kilometers
01:07:54and this corner
01:07:55to this corner
01:07:55is also exactly
01:07:56two kilometers
01:07:57which would make this
01:07:58more than double
01:08:00the size of any pyramid
01:08:01thus far found on Earth.
01:08:05While it may seem
01:08:06unthinkable
01:08:07that pyramids
01:08:08could exist
01:08:09in Antarctica,
01:08:11in recent years,
01:08:12archaeologists
01:08:13have found pyramids
01:08:14all over the world
01:08:15that had been lost
01:08:16for centuries,
01:08:18mistaken as
01:08:19natural formations
01:08:20or hidden
01:08:22in the most
01:08:23unlikely places.
01:08:24They have been discovered
01:08:26in the plains
01:08:27of northern Peru,
01:08:29buried beneath dirt
01:08:30and rubble
01:08:31in Indonesia
01:08:32and one may even exist
01:08:35in Los Angeles,
01:08:36California.
01:08:37All the way
01:08:38around the world
01:08:39we find evidence
01:08:41of pyramid structures.
01:08:43We should start
01:08:44looking at the possibility
01:08:46that there was
01:08:47habitation
01:08:48on Antarctica.
01:08:51Was it
01:08:52a lost civilization?
01:08:54Could it be
01:08:56ancient astronauts?
01:08:58And just maybe
01:08:59the earliest monuments
01:09:01of our own civilization
01:09:02came originally
01:09:04from Antarctica.
01:09:07If this gigantic pyramid
01:09:08in Antarctica
01:09:09is an artificial structure,
01:09:12it would probably
01:09:14be the oldest pyramid
01:09:15on our planet.
01:09:17And in fact,
01:09:18it might be
01:09:18the master pyramid
01:09:20that all the other pyramids
01:09:22on planet Earth
01:09:23were designed
01:09:25to look like.
01:09:27There has been
01:09:28extensive research done
01:09:29on pyramids
01:09:30throughout the world
01:09:31in terms of their structure
01:09:33and what it is
01:09:34that they really are.
01:09:36And one of the theories
01:09:36is that pyramids
01:09:37are power generators.
01:09:40And so if you have
01:09:41these pyramids
01:09:42strategically placed
01:09:43around the world
01:09:44generating this charge,
01:09:45it's possible to create
01:09:47a general standing wave
01:09:49around the world
01:09:50that is basically
01:09:52a wireless transmission
01:09:53of energy.
01:09:56It's been theorized
01:09:58that ancient ships,
01:10:00extraterrestrials,
01:10:01and those with high technology
01:10:03could use this
01:10:05interconnected wireless
01:10:07energy system
01:10:08to navigate
01:10:09around the planet.
01:10:11and it makes sense
01:10:13that if there was
01:10:15some kind of worldwide
01:10:17pyramid power grid
01:10:20like this,
01:10:22that Antarctica
01:10:23would have pyramids
01:10:25as well.
01:10:27The whole idea
01:10:28of these pyramidal structures,
01:10:31where did it come from?
01:10:33Because it's not an arbitrary thing.
01:10:35And these structures,
01:10:36they exist worldwide.
01:10:37So, you know,
01:10:39what was the impetus?
01:10:40And even more fascinating,
01:10:42what's the origin?
01:10:46For ancient astronaut theorists,
01:10:48we really think
01:10:49that the pyramids
01:10:50are much older
01:10:51than what archaeology
01:10:53currently suggests.
01:10:55Yeah,
01:10:55and that makes it
01:10:56even harder
01:10:56to explain
01:10:57how they could have
01:10:58built these pyramids
01:10:59without the help
01:11:00of a more advanced civilization.
01:11:02Right.
01:11:02And the more we learn,
01:11:03the more questions arise.
01:11:05Right.
01:11:11The Giza Plateau,
01:11:13Egypt,
01:11:142008.
01:11:17Researchers
01:11:18from the University
01:11:19of the Aegean
01:11:20and the University
01:11:22of Athens
01:11:22perform a study
01:11:24on the stones
01:11:25used for many
01:11:26of the region's
01:11:27ancient monuments.
01:11:29What they discover
01:11:30is that most
01:11:31of these structures,
01:11:33including the Giza pyramids,
01:11:34contain hundreds
01:11:36of thousands
01:11:37of marine fossils.
01:11:39The find
01:11:41intensifies the debate
01:11:42between archaeologists
01:11:44who suggest
01:11:45that the blocks
01:11:46used to build
01:11:47the pyramids
01:11:47were cast
01:11:48like concrete
01:11:49versus those
01:11:50who say
01:11:51they were carved
01:11:52out of natural stone.
01:11:55But for ancient
01:11:56astronaut theorists,
01:11:57it raises
01:11:58another question.
01:12:00Is it possible
01:12:01that the pyramids
01:12:02were not built
01:12:03with stone
01:12:03that had at one time
01:12:05been submerged
01:12:05beneath the ocean,
01:12:07but that the pyramids
01:12:08themselves
01:12:09were underwater?
01:12:13Right in the middle
01:12:14of the desert,
01:12:15seemingly out of nowhere,
01:12:16we have fossils
01:12:17from the ocean,
01:12:18different genres
01:12:19of marine organisms.
01:12:21Where did they come from
01:12:22and why are they here?
01:12:25Some say
01:12:25that a great flood
01:12:26did in fact happen,
01:12:28that it was real.
01:12:29The flood
01:12:32is clearly presented
01:12:35as being sent
01:12:36with intent
01:12:37as an attack
01:12:38upon the earth.
01:12:40The powers that be,
01:12:42they had an intent
01:12:43and a purpose
01:12:44for experiment earth,
01:12:45which they believe
01:12:46had become corrupted,
01:12:47and therefore,
01:12:49the flood
01:12:50was sent
01:12:50as an attack,
01:12:52an assault
01:12:53upon humanity.
01:12:54these gods
01:12:57were going to
01:12:58artificially create
01:12:59this flood
01:13:00and cataclysm
01:13:01with their
01:13:01super technology.
01:13:03And who could do that
01:13:05except for
01:13:07extraterrestrials?
01:13:09According to the Bible,
01:13:11God sent the great flood
01:13:13to cleanse the earth
01:13:14because of the sinful state
01:13:16of mankind.
01:13:17But if the flood
01:13:20really was sent
01:13:21by extraterrestrials,
01:13:23as some ancient
01:13:23astronaut theorists suggest,
01:13:26might it also
01:13:26have been an attempt
01:13:27to eliminate
01:13:28any trace
01:13:29of the advanced civilization
01:13:31that existed here
01:13:32on earth
01:13:33in the distant past?
01:13:36Is it possible
01:13:37that the secrets
01:13:38of the pyramids
01:13:39were initially
01:13:39covered up
01:13:40not by humans,
01:13:42but by an alien race
01:13:43that lived among us
01:13:44thousands of years ago?
01:13:48One has to ask
01:13:49the question,
01:13:50well,
01:13:51what was wiped out?
01:13:53Could it be
01:13:54that it was
01:13:57an incredibly
01:13:58advanced society
01:13:59that existed
01:14:00before recorded history?
01:14:04Many new pyramid
01:14:05structures
01:14:06have been found.
01:14:07You have pyramids
01:14:08off the coast of Cuba
01:14:09and 2,000 feet of water.
01:14:11So who built
01:14:11those structures?
01:14:12How did they get there?
01:14:14Researcher Frank Joseph
01:14:15has actually found
01:14:17remnants of at least
01:14:1910 pyramid-shaped structures
01:14:22beneath the surface
01:14:23of the water
01:14:24in Rock Lake, Wisconsin.
01:14:26Two of these pyramids
01:14:28have actually been
01:14:29explored by scuba divers
01:14:32and mapped out
01:14:34through the use
01:14:35of sonar,
01:14:36which is how we figure out
01:14:37where things are
01:14:39in a deep body of water.
01:14:40the presence of man-made pyramids
01:14:47at the bottom
01:14:48of Rock Lake, Wisconsin,
01:14:50much like the structures
01:14:51that have been found
01:14:52in China,
01:14:54Alaska,
01:14:55Bosnia,
01:14:55and off the coast
01:14:56of Japan and Cuba,
01:14:58is something
01:14:59that government officials
01:15:00continue to deny.
01:15:02But the government
01:15:03has gone out of their way
01:15:05to try to dismiss
01:15:07the idea
01:15:08that these
01:15:09are pyramids.
01:15:11And they won't even
01:15:13give you a good answer.
01:15:14But the answer really is
01:15:15that they don't want
01:15:16people
01:15:17to make this connection,
01:15:19that we have pyramids
01:15:21in our country,
01:15:22and that they're connected
01:15:23to pyramids
01:15:24all over the world.
01:15:25How many other
01:15:29lost pyramids
01:15:29might be out there?
01:15:33Will the truth
01:15:34about who built
01:15:35these pyramids
01:15:36and why
01:15:36reveal our connection
01:15:38to an advanced
01:15:39extraterrestrial race
01:15:41that was here
01:15:42long before
01:15:43even the earliest
01:15:44known civilizations?
01:15:47And if so,
01:15:49might the pyramids
01:15:50themselves
01:15:51serve as a conduit
01:15:52for re-establishing
01:15:54contact?
01:15:55Giza, Egypt.
01:16:03In 1977,
01:16:06and then again
01:16:07in 1987,
01:16:09electronics engineer
01:16:11and inventor
01:16:11Joe Parr
01:16:12conducted experiments
01:16:14on the top
01:16:15of the Great Pyramid.
01:16:19Using equipment
01:16:20of his own design,
01:16:22Parr measured
01:16:23the pyramids
01:16:24electrical,
01:16:25magnetic,
01:16:25and radioactive
01:16:26properties.
01:16:29Joe Parr,
01:16:29who was my
01:16:30very close friend
01:16:31and research colleague,
01:16:33discovered what I believe
01:16:34is the most incredible
01:16:35discovery about
01:16:36the Great Pyramid
01:16:37and pyramids
01:16:38in general.
01:16:40Joe believed
01:16:41that the pyramids
01:16:42had an energy field
01:16:44around them.
01:16:45All pyramids had it.
01:16:46The problem is the pyramid
01:16:48energy field
01:16:49was usually not strong enough.
01:16:53So he developed
01:16:54in his laboratory
01:16:55a method
01:16:56for generating
01:16:58this pyramid energy
01:16:59so then he could actually
01:17:01do scientific studies on it.
01:17:06Over the last few decades,
01:17:08people have been experimenting
01:17:09with pyramids.
01:17:10What has come
01:17:12to the forefront
01:17:13of this
01:17:13is the fact
01:17:14that pyramids
01:17:15are an enigma.
01:17:17They really have powers
01:17:18which are very hard
01:17:20to explain.
01:17:21And so people
01:17:22like Joe Parr
01:17:22have been looking
01:17:23into this.
01:17:24When somebody goes
01:17:25to the top
01:17:25of the Great Pyramid
01:17:26and experiences
01:17:28this weird
01:17:29electromagnetic vibration,
01:17:31this is not just
01:17:31a coincidence,
01:17:32but this has to do
01:17:33with the fact
01:17:34that the Great Pyramid
01:17:35is causing this.
01:17:36Joe Parr
01:17:42found out
01:17:43that if he put
01:17:43a model pyramid
01:17:45and spun it
01:17:46in a centrifuge
01:17:47through an alternating
01:17:49magnetic current,
01:17:51an energy field,
01:17:52or he calls it
01:17:53an orb or bubble,
01:17:55would form
01:17:56around the model pyramid.
01:17:58Joe found
01:17:59that this bubble
01:17:59or energy orb
01:18:01would block
01:18:02all known types
01:18:02of electromagnetic radiation.
01:18:04even gamma rays.
01:18:07Now this was interesting.
01:18:08We don't know
01:18:10of any types
01:18:10of energy forces
01:18:11that could do this.
01:18:13This is the most
01:18:14incredible thing
01:18:14about Joe Parr's
01:18:15discovery.
01:18:17In later
01:18:18laboratory experiments,
01:18:20Parr claimed
01:18:21to have discovered
01:18:22yet another
01:18:23strange physical phenomenon.
01:18:26The model pyramid
01:18:28became weightless
01:18:29in the energy field
01:18:30and began to move
01:18:32in a specific direction.
01:18:34And he calculated
01:18:35the direction
01:18:36of this energy field
01:18:38where the pyramid
01:18:39would shoot out from.
01:18:41And guess what?
01:18:42It aligns exactly
01:18:43where we would see
01:18:44the constellation Orion.
01:18:47So Joe speculated
01:18:49that it went
01:18:51into hyperspace.
01:18:54This is speculation,
01:18:56but it makes
01:18:57a lot of sense.
01:18:57And string theory
01:19:01in physics,
01:19:02it postulates
01:19:04the existence
01:19:04of six additional
01:19:05spatial dimensions.
01:19:07So how do we know
01:19:08the way
01:19:09this energy fields
01:19:10were set up?
01:19:11It allows this pyramid
01:19:13to go into another dimension
01:19:14and travel.
01:19:18Joe never proved this,
01:19:20but before he died,
01:19:21he believed
01:19:22that the pyramid
01:19:23act as a time machine
01:19:25if you could unlock
01:19:26its key.
01:19:30I believe that
01:19:31that is a gateway
01:19:32or a portal
01:19:32into multiple dimensions
01:19:34that would enable
01:19:37our transmission
01:19:38of people,
01:19:39objects,
01:19:39or consciousness
01:19:40from other dimensions
01:19:42into our dimension.
01:19:47Is it possible,
01:19:49like Joe Parr believed,
01:19:51that the Great Pyramid
01:19:52could facilitate travel
01:19:53through interdimensional space?
01:19:57And if so,
01:19:59were there other pyramids
01:20:01with the same capabilities?
01:20:03Might the Earth's pyramids
01:20:05be connected,
01:20:06not simply by shape,
01:20:08but by purpose,
01:20:10perhaps as part
01:20:11of some otherworldly plan?
01:20:15The ancient people
01:20:17were all building
01:20:19these same pyramids
01:20:21because it was a way
01:20:24for them
01:20:25to tap in
01:20:26to the natural energy
01:20:28of the Earth.
01:20:31And you have to think
01:20:33that whoever is guiding
01:20:34such a precise network
01:20:37of pyramids
01:20:38must have been
01:20:39a very advanced culture,
01:20:41probably extraterrestrials.
01:20:47In all of this,
01:20:48I have one single question.
01:20:52Where are the blueprints?
01:20:54If all of this
01:20:55was so incredibly important,
01:20:58then wouldn't you think
01:21:00that we would have
01:21:01at least one record
01:21:02of some type of a blueprint?
01:21:04And the reality is
01:21:05there is not a single piece.
01:21:08Why?
01:21:09Could it be because
01:21:10the blueprints
01:21:11have disappeared?
01:21:16Pyramids,
01:21:17interconnected by design,
01:21:20transforming the Earth's
01:21:21electromagnetic power
01:21:23and serving as gateways
01:21:25for otherworldly travelers?
01:21:28Is it really possible
01:21:29that the ancient pyramids
01:21:31are part of an advanced,
01:21:32perhaps,
01:21:33alien technology,
01:21:35one which we have not yet
01:21:36discovered?
01:21:38If so,
01:21:39what will happen
01:21:41when their secrets
01:21:42are unlocked?
01:21:43is mankind
01:21:45finally ready
01:21:46for the truth?
01:21:53So it's interesting
01:21:54to think
01:21:54that the pyramids
01:21:55might have been,
01:21:56you know,
01:21:56energy generators
01:21:58putting out power
01:21:59or maybe they were
01:22:01repositories
01:22:02for ancient knowledge.
01:22:04Right.
01:22:04Or was it something else?
01:22:06I mean,
01:22:06the ancient Egyptians
01:22:07thought of the Great Pyramid
01:22:08as an ascension instrument.
01:22:11So perhaps it was
01:22:12a stargate
01:22:13or a conduit
01:22:14to other star systems.
01:22:15Right.
01:22:16And what I find
01:22:17so fascinating
01:22:18is that we've just seen
01:22:19that many of these
01:22:21ancient pyramid sites
01:22:22are built
01:22:23in constellation forms
01:22:25like the belt stars
01:22:27of Orion.
01:22:27Right.
01:22:28The idea is
01:22:29that that is
01:22:30where the extraterrestrials
01:22:31came from.
01:22:32Right.
01:22:33And can you just imagine
01:22:34if we are able
01:22:35to fire up this grid again
01:22:37and actually use it
01:22:37and call beings down
01:22:40from those star systems?
01:22:42I mean,
01:22:42it'll be incredible.
