00:00And there seems to be a different proposal on the long term when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.
00:05Netanyahu, we saw him last night, he floated the alternative idea of routes to bypass the Strait of Hormuz,
00:12including pipelines through the Middle East, straight to Israeli ports.
00:17Do you think that this is a realistic plan?
00:20It's not a realistic plan, but you can't blame Bibi for trying.
00:23Certainly nobody's going to build a pipeline directly to Israel and expect that pipeline to be safe from any sort
00:29of future problems as well.
00:30Most of the Arab world is not exactly keen to run their energy supplies through Israel.
00:35Israel gets most of its oil, of course, through pipelines that end up in Turkey and then shipped in there.
00:40So you can't blame the Israelis for wanting that or suggesting it.
00:44But the idea is ludicrous and not a single Arab nation would agree to it.
