00:00In Brazil, the Supreme Court ordered this Saturday the house arrest of 10 people for co-populated activities.
00:06This decision comes one day after the escape attempt of one of those implicated in the plot led by former President Jair Bolsonaro.
00:14The Federal Police carried out a measure determined by Justice Alexandre de Moraes to prevent new escape attempts.
00:21The measure was carried out against 10 defendants whose sentences are still subject to the appeal.
00:27Those implicated had previously been granted temporary freedom while awaiting resolution of their cases
00:32and had only been required to comply with certain precautionary measures ordered by the Supreme Court,
00:38such as wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.
00:42They will now have to remain confined to the residencies and continue to use the tracking device.
