00:09fourth ranked versus ranked game of this college football

00:12weekend, but it's not Saturday. It's Friday night under the

00:16lights once again inside Memorial Stadium. Nebraska has

00:20started at least in the afternoon to evening hours each

00:24and every week so far throughout the college football

00:27campaign to rank 22nd. They were back in the AP top 25 with

00:32their highest ranking 2 weeks ago since 2016, Illinois, a top

00:3625 team for the first time since 2022. So Joe as we go to

00:40Friday night, Nebraska now nearly a double digit favorite

00:44laying nine and a half against the Illini total 43 and a hook.

00:48Yeah. Well, I mean listen, but there's optimism in Nebraska

00:51for the first time in a long time right so Matt rule. We

00:56have always said it when he shows up at universities with

00:59struggling football programs. The biggest jump the program

01:03makes is usually that second year. He was there mind you.

01:12less than one score is so they were close. Now he's got his

01:17quarterback. He's got these kids believe in at home. This

01:21all comes down to how much do you trust Illinois offense to

01:25go toe to toe with Nebraska? The defense is going to have to

01:28play out of their mind on the road. The limit Nebraska. I

01:31don't know this feels like if they're truly back then if the

01:36Cornhuskers are back, this is an easy double digit win for

01:39them. Yeah, and that's really the question always in Lincoln

01:44isn't it are the Huskers truly back what we do know both of

02:40this year, Illinois giving up more than a buck 25. Can they

02:43slow down Dante Dowdell and Ramiro Johnson? That is the

02:48test for the Illini. It's a large spread though. It's
