00:00Another big game from last week, Indiana Hoosiers.
00:04I mean, that effort on Saturday night, I don't think they're the best team in the country,
00:08but they look like a number one team in the country, the way they just annihilated Illinois.
00:14Are they better than last year's Indiana?
00:17Yeah, they look at least where they left off last year.
00:20They did this all season last year.
00:21They were blowing out every opponent.
00:23But what you saw Saturday was just a complete game, all three phases.
00:26I know these terms are used a lot, but if you ever needed to put a visual to it,
00:31this was literally just perfect football, clean, crisp football.
00:35Sometimes it looked like they're playing on air.
00:36I mean, it was 15-yard, 20-yard chunks every play.
00:40Defense rallied up a bunch of sacks.
00:42They blocked that punt for a touchdown to really open up the scoring.
00:46So, yeah, that was a statement victory.
00:48That was enough to project them into my top 10 of my power ratings.
00:51I mean, that was such a magnitude of a win there.
00:54Yeah, they're right back in the playoff hunt, and I think the Big Ten might get three or four teams in,
00:59and now they're in that category of discussion for a playoff spot.
01:03And then look at Mendoza, too, their quarterback.
01:0614 touchdowns, no picks.
01:08Perfect football so far, and he's rising up to Heisman leaderboard very quickly.
01:13Heisman favorite.
01:14Who had that a couple of weeks ago?
01:16So, this week at Iowa, Kurt Cignetti, maybe a little jab at Bielema saying they're going to have a tougher challenge this week.
01:25How do you think they match up with the Hawkeyes?
01:28Are you worried about any letdown?
01:30Well, yeah, Iowa might have a little letdown, too, because they're coming back from a road trip in New Jersey playing Rutgers.
01:36And I was shocked watching Iowa last Friday night.
01:38They gave up touchdowns on their first three drives against Rutgers, and that's a rare feat against a Phil Parker, Iowa defense.
01:45That just doesn't happen.
01:46Also gave up a lot of yards through the air.
01:48Again, it's not usual, not characteristic of the usual Iowa defense.
01:52So, I think Indiana is going to have some throwing lanes.
01:55I think they're going to be able to score points here again.
01:57And I don't think they'll have a letdown.
01:59I mean, you look at this team last year.
02:00They had blowout victories, but they continue to stack every week.
02:03This is a guy, Kurt Cignetti and his coordinators with Shanahan and Brian Haynes, they are laser focused.
02:09They're getting the best out of this roster.
02:10And, you know, it's all American candidates all over the place.
02:13So, I like Indiana to go in there.
02:15I know it's a tough place to play, especially per capita, like per person.
02:18That's one of the toughest to play in the Big Ten.
02:20But I think they get it done.
02:22You know, they're not going to let their foot off the gas.
02:23They're going to keep this thing rolling, and I think they're going to cover and win.
