00:00Forget Gordon Ramsay.
00:01And a king that lives in a castle.
00:05And May Wiener.
00:09What did you say, ever, May Wiener?
00:12In all Nantucket, they all wankers.
00:15Nantucket?
00:16I'll hit, like, my chest.
00:20How is your physical pain?
00:21Terrible.
00:22I want to ask you about this device called New Pulse
00:26that you wear that helps your tics.
00:28If you did want to try it, you'd have to go to the UK,
00:30I'm afraid.
00:31It's not available here.
00:34I don't like the idea of flying underwater the entire time.
00:38So you're actually more nervous than me to fly?
00:41Yeah.
00:43If this device actually works for Baylen,
00:46it would be a complete game changer for her.
00:49But taking a trip to the UK is not
00:52the most realistic thing to do right now.
00:54With wedding planning right now, it's just not in our budget.
00:58Hmm.
01:00Even if Baylen can't bring the device home with her,
01:03the intrinsic reward of it is knowing that it would provide
01:06her hope if it weren't.
01:08What's up, Dad?
01:09I've been talking with your mom, and going to the UK
01:13to try the new Pulse device is a must.
01:17So we're going to pay for you to go.
01:19Oh my god, really?
01:20Yeah.
01:21Thank you so much.
01:22It's exciting.
01:23Yeah.
01:24Thank you, guys.
01:25We're going to go with you and bring Sven, Vic, and Vector.
01:29We're going to London.
01:30Yeah, we are.
01:31Hello.
01:32Hello.
01:33I couldn't be any more grateful.
01:35Oh, she's got Virgin Mary in her window.
02:01Oh, I love that.
02:03Virgin dick.
02:05Okay.
02:06Hands to yourself.
02:09Well, please let go of my hand.
02:13Peace up.
02:22A-town.
02:23you.
02:26Oh, bitch.
02:27That's why we got child luck on.
02:31Ever since my parents called me to let me know
02:33that they're going to be paying for the whole family
02:35to travel to London for me to try the new Pulse device,
02:38things are moving at a rapid pace.
02:41And we're leaving for the UK at the end of this week.
02:45But first, we have a meeting to check in
02:47with our wedding planners.
02:48The last time that we saw them,
02:49they seemed a little bit concerned
02:51that they'd be able to fit all of our wedding dreams
02:53into our budget.
02:54So honestly, I'm a little nervous
02:56with what they have to tell us today.
02:57Hi.
02:58How are you guys?
02:59They did ask to meet us at a flower shop,
03:01so I'm hoping that's a good sign.
03:04I mean, you can't get bad news when you're
03:06surrounded by flowers, right?
03:08Right?
03:10I don't know.
03:12Maybe they think it's going to soften the blow.
03:14Soften the blow.
03:16Yeah.
03:18How are you guys?
03:19We're good. We're good.
03:20I'm a little nervous to hear what you guys have to say.
03:22OK, well, dick!
03:26Sorry.
03:27After meeting with Balin and Colin for the first time,
03:29we left feeling slightly concerned.
03:34With all of the different add-ons that they wanted,
03:36the horse, the llamas.
03:37The alpacas.
03:38The fondue fountain.
03:39Yep.
03:40Yep.
03:41We had to go back and take all of their dreams,
03:44compare it to their budget, and see what we could make work.
03:48So we definitely have news for Balin and Colin today,
03:51and I'm not sure that it's news they're going to want to hear.
03:54Wedding planning can be a little scary.
03:57Like, every decision that comes through is just, like,
04:00always, like, shock at what each thing costs,
04:05which you don't normally go through on your daily life, so...
04:08Yeah, after we last met, we went back, talked about your priorities,
04:12started reaching out to different vendors,
04:14photography, videography, catering.
04:16We got some numbers, got availability, and everything like that.
04:19Here's the deal.
04:21So, I think we have a decision to make.
04:25So we have to do one of two things.
04:27One would be to adjust our expectations.
04:30Or we could increase the budget.
04:34What didn't fit into the budget?
04:41We can fit everything into the budget.
04:43It's just that each category gets shrunk down
04:46based on things like your venue selection.
04:49That's because that's what we've made so far, right?
04:51Mm-hmm.
04:52Okay.
04:53Balin and I sat down and came up with realistic goals and dreams
04:58and looks for the wedding, and we set aside a number
05:04that we could be able to attain those.
05:07And we are at our capacity at that number.
05:11So I think what we should do today
05:13is we're going to go back into the cooler here and...
05:15Ooh, the cooler.
05:16Yeah, yeah.
05:17Yeah.
05:18You're getting frisky.
05:19Sorry.
05:20Sorry.
05:21I love it.
05:22We're going to look in the cooler.
05:23We're going to see what they have, right?
05:24We're going to pick out some flowers
05:26because this is really an area where we can play around
05:30so that we can adjust our expectations
05:32of what we're going to walk in on the wedding day.
05:34Does that sound good?
05:35Yes.
05:36Okay, perfect.
05:37Let's head back into the cooler.
05:38Okay.
05:40I think it's going to be a fun challenge
05:42to figure out what I like and what I don't like
05:44and if it fits into our budget or not
05:46because this could really be an avenue that we save money on.
05:48It's kind of like a Pinterest game, not like a tin...
05:50What is it called where you can fit everything in certain areas?
05:54Pinterest?
05:55Pint...
05:56Not Pinterest.
06:01Tetris!
06:02Oh, Tetris!
06:03Okay.
06:04Yes.
06:05All right, here we go, guys.
06:09Oh, wow.
06:10Oh, she's chill.
06:12Yeah.
06:13So, Colin, we have a bucket for you.
06:15You have an important job.
06:16You get to hold the flowers.
06:17All right.
06:25Oh, I love those ones.
06:28Like, I love colors, so it has to be colorful.
06:30Yes.
06:31I love these.
06:34The three most important things to have at the wedding
06:36is the dress, the food, you...
06:39And the horse.
06:40Rod the horse.
06:41No.
06:42That's like the 19th thing on the list.
06:44It's food, the dress, and flowers.
06:48We've got peach.
06:49Is that lavender?
06:50Light purple.
06:51What is that?
06:52It's not lavender.
06:53Because it sets my ticks off.
06:54Woo-hoo!
06:55Woo-hoo!
06:56Lavender is an absolute no to have at the wedding for flowers
06:59because they set off my ticks, which is really disappointing
07:02because they're really pretty flowers.
07:04But because the smell sets off my ticks,
07:06it doesn't really make me upset that I can't have it.
07:08I love these.
07:09I love these.
07:10For budget.
07:11Roses, they're actually not going to be sold as a package like this.
07:14They're going to be sold per stem.
07:16Good to know.
07:17We need some oranges.
07:22Hydrangea are great because they're huge, and they take up a lot of space.
07:25Huge.
07:26We love it.
07:27Got those.
07:28All right, let's keep moving.
07:29You good?
07:30Yeah.
07:31We're almost done, Colin, I promise.
07:33Oh, my God!
07:34What is that little fucking thing?
07:37Amaranthus.
07:38Droopy dicks.
07:39Yeah.
07:40Dick.
07:42Okay.
07:43Oh, man.
07:44A chicken broke the flower.
07:45She broke a flower.
07:46Are we going to have to buy that?
07:47Maybe.
07:48Okay.
07:49That'll look good in our living room.
07:51Yeah.
07:52I love it.
07:53Okay, so now we're going to head over to the design studio,
07:55and they're going to start to put this stuff together for us.
07:58Hi, how are you?
07:59How are there?
08:00Good, how are you?
08:01Good.
08:02We got some stuff for you.
08:04Today is all about figuring out how much we have and want to spend on flowers.
08:09Okay.
08:10So, thinking about maybe a round table.
08:13Okay.
08:14With all of these.
08:15Okay.
08:16It also can't be too...
08:17Like, I'm looking at this behind us, and I'm thinking that that's a little bit too big.
08:21I have Tourette syndrome, and sometimes a lot of things on, like, a sweetheart table.
08:26Okay.
08:27Just with my tics, everything is kind of going to get ruined.
08:30Sounds good.
08:31So, we're looking for a garden style, multicolored, whimsical, fun.
08:36All of that.
08:37You got it.
08:38And more.
08:39Okay.
08:40Let's get started.
08:41So, I'm going to take some of this hydrangea.
08:42This is going to take up a lot of space in the arrangement.
08:45That's why I'm putting it in first.
08:46Get your foundation going, and then you're going to put the small one top.
08:50Foundation deck.
08:51Yeah.
08:52I love this.
08:53This is like art.
08:54Absolutely.
08:55Bitch.
08:56I love it.
08:57I love it.
08:59Are you excited?
09:00Mm-hmm.
09:01I love all the colors together.
09:02It reminds me of my personality.
09:04A little all over the place?
09:05Yep.
09:06A little all over the place.
09:07A little bit of everything.
09:08A little bit of everything.
09:09Oh, my God.
09:10This is making me really happy.
09:11Yay.
09:12Until it comes back $9,000.
09:15It is so thrilling and fun to see my vision come to life.
09:19And it be like the perfect size.
09:22Like, it's not too big.
09:23It's not too overwhelming.
09:25Do you like it?
09:26Mm-hmm.
09:27It's a lot.
09:28There's a lot in there.
09:30I just start seeing dollar signs everywhere.
09:36Okay.
09:37There you go.
09:38Those are all the flowers that you picked out.
09:40Oh, I love that.
09:41Yeah?
09:42How much would this cost?
09:43So I'm going to count up all the stems that we added in there.
09:46And then I can get my number on that.
09:48Okay.
09:49Same.
09:50I didn't know you spoke French.
09:54Neither did I until I started taking it.
09:58So with the container here and the greenery design.
10:02If I had to give a rough estimate, I would probably say it's going to cost anywhere between $7,000 and $11,000 for the amount of flowers that Baylin is thinking of.
10:19I've always had anxiety about flying.
10:28I'm, like, nervous for him now, too, because I'm like, can you hold it together for her?
10:33I don't know how he's going to react if they're in line and she's saying things.
10:37I got a gun.
10:38I got a bomb.
10:39Do you think you can sit this?
10:41Dick.
10:42While I get your stuff situated?
10:44Need her ID?
10:45Take a dick, moron.
10:47Shut up, bitch.
10:48How much would this cost?
10:58So I'm going to count up all the stems that we added in there, and then I can get the N number on that.
11:03In God's name, amen.
11:06I'm pretty nervous to hear the price tag on this.
11:09I don't want to have to cut back on what I love and the flowers and the colors, so I'm really hoping that whatever I put together, whatever she's put together, fits into our budget.
11:20So, centerpieces can cost you anywhere from $100 up to $1,000, depending on the flowers that you are using.
11:27With the container here and the greenery designed, probably looking at around $100.
11:34Oh, okay.
11:36Mm-hmm.
11:37Oh, $100.
11:38That's not bad.
11:39That's actually really good.
11:41Suck a .
11:42Sorry.
11:43The name Balin and the word saving money doesn't really go together a whole lot in the same sentence, so it's surprising to hear that this flower arrangement actually fits into our budget.
11:59I mean, it actually gives me some hope.
12:02For this wildflower look, it's kind of nice because you do get all of those more delicate florals in there.
12:09I am thrilled that what I've wanted this entire time has fit into our budget.
12:15I don't really have expensive taste.
12:17I just like colors.
12:18Oh, it's been an experience.
12:19Yeah.
12:20This way.
12:21Yeah.
12:22There you go.
12:23So pretty.
12:24So that's all I was interested in was which colors do I like the best, not which flowers do I like the best.
12:32Okay, guys.
12:33So great job today.
12:35I think you guys really nailed it.
12:38Nailed it.
12:39Eat a bag of chips.
12:42Next up, we've got more work to do, Chris, right?
12:45Sure do.
12:46We've picked out centerpiece florals.
12:48We've picked out pay florals.
12:49That's yours.
12:50So next step will be to design your wedding in terms of what you want to see at your ceremony.
12:57So based about all the information that we found out today with the florals, are we still going to still have to raise our budget or cut things?
13:06We're going to have to see.
13:08We still have to go back and check out all of our other vendors and see what we can fit into this budget and see what kind of rates we can get and magic we can pull together.
13:17All right.
13:18Okay.
13:19While we're relieved that Bayland's floral taste comes in at a less expensive line of florals, and that's great, what remains to be seen is the entire scope of the wedding.
13:30For the whole meal!
13:32Now they've committed to a venue that is a little more money than what we typically recommend, and it doesn't include catering.
13:39So now we have to go find catering and all of the other vendors.
13:43We have to build the entire design plan for the rest of the wedding and stationary, rentals, linens, forks, knives, everything.
13:52So all of those things will add up, and so we're going to have to be cognizant of it as we move on throughout the planning process.
13:59I'll pretend you're my dad right now and you're walking down the aisle.
14:02I'm just kidding.
14:03I knew going in there are probably going to be a few items that we're going to have to cut or that we're going to have to like downsize if that makes sense.
14:28I mean, if she does say that, you know, we can't have the wedding venue because it doesn't fit in our budget, I mean, that's obviously something that we don't want to hear.
14:37I know like in a lot of different ways there's areas to save money, and I'm down to save money, but in one way I'm not down to save money by taking the wedding venue off the table.
14:46I'm not doing that.
14:47Yeah.
14:48It's pretty devastating to be so far along and then wonder if we need to change our wedding venue or not.
14:53It's kind of not where we want to be.
14:55It just adds extra stress.
14:57Like the budget that we have should be able to have a wedding there, and if that number is not enough somehow, why not just save the money then and get married legally at a courthouse?
15:14And then you didn't spend any money.
15:21I mean, yeah, but then you have no wedding.
15:23I mean, not going to lie, I would rather have the wedding in the backyard than go to a courthouse.
15:29All right, that's a hot take.
15:34I want a real beautiful dream wedding because a couple of years ago I would have never pictured myself being with the love of my life or even meet somebody that's willing to love me, especially with everything that I've been through.
15:52So it will definitely be very devastating if Shannon and Chris can't fit all of our wedding dreams into our budget.
16:01All right, well, first things first, we need to figure out.
16:05Eat a bag of chips.
16:06What the?
16:07First things first, in Nantucket, they all wankers.
16:10First things first, we really have to focus on getting ready to leave for London.
16:14I'll be honest, I'm pretty excited to go to the UK.
16:17I'm, like, really excited to go to the UK.
16:20But if I get too excited, then my tics are going to get bad.
16:22So, you know, we got to narrow it back down a little bit.
16:24In Nantucket, they all wankers.
16:27I've always wanted to go to Europe.
16:29I've always wanted to travel.
16:31And this is just, like, my foot out the door of doing that.
16:34Yeah, I mean, I'm really excited, too.
16:36I've never been to that side of the world.
16:38I'm just really, really blessed.
16:40My parents were able to find the money to make this work for me.
16:45My mom has been working at lightning speed to get everything working for us to go to London by being in contact with these new Pulse device people.
16:54And I am so excited to finally be able to try this incredible device that hopefully will help with my tics.
17:02These earrings are fun to play with because they didn't bring any fidgets.
17:06We have to go all the way to the UK to try New Pulse because it's not for sale or approved by the U.S. yet.
17:13It's just crazy to think this little device that you can wear that's not invasive could drastically help and improve my life forever.
17:25Going to the UK.
17:26I think we feel real.
17:28I've always have had anxiety about flying.
17:34I am perfectly fine in the airport.
17:38I can help you navigate through the airport.
17:40When we're in the air.
17:41Yeah.
17:42Once my feet are not on the ground, that's when I have a problem.
17:47When it's out of your control.
17:48Yes.
17:49I hate my life being in someone else's hands.
17:52I hate that.
17:53That's why I don't like taking ride shares.
17:55If they mess up or if something goes wrong and they don't know how to fix it, I'm dead because they didn't know how to do their job.
18:02I don't like that on an international flight over water.
18:07You're allowed to have anxiety.
18:09You're allowed to like feel the things that you feel.
18:12However, I also have anxiety too.
18:14So when we're flying together, I can't really hear we're all going to die.
18:19Like I can't hear that on the plane.
18:21Like I won't talk to you the entire time.
18:23And then you'll just be sitting there squeezing like the stress balls because that type of stuff gives me more anxiety than anything.
18:30And I'm not telling you to like suck it back in and like not explain like what you're feeling.
18:34All I'm saying is that it's going to be very difficult with two people that have flying anxiety to fly together.
18:39That is a interesting combo.
18:41Virgin dick.
18:42Okay.
18:43Yeehaw.
18:44For the wedding.
18:47I think we should maybe ask my parents for some help.
18:53Hmm.
18:54I don't want to ask them for any kind of money or anything like that.
19:00I hate asking other people for money.
19:05Okay.
19:06Oh.
19:07Here we go.
19:20That should be enough.
19:24Colin.
19:25Do you think this is enough clothes?
19:30Are you serious Bailen?
19:33We're going there for a week.
19:35Not a month.
19:36Tomorrow night we are going to London, England and I am so excited.
19:42However, I have no idea what to pack for the UK.
19:45So I'm going to pack as much as possible.
19:47Just saying.
19:48It's good to have options.
19:49You're bald bitch.
19:51You're ballless.
19:52You're a little all over the place but.
19:54I have a nine inch dildo.
19:55Sorry.
19:56You worried about your tics over there?
19:57Yeah.
19:58Just your like British tics that you got or all of them?
19:59All my tics.
20:00I don't know how British people respond to Tourette's.
20:02Americans don't really respond to Tourette's very nicely.
20:05So there's a lot of things that I'm going to do.
20:08I don't know how British people respond to Tourette's.
20:09I don't know how British people respond to Tourette's.
20:14Americans don't really respond to Tourette's very nicely.
20:19So there's a lot of tics going to London.
20:22I'm nervous about like my British accent tics.
20:25It just worries me that I'll be in a conversation and then they're going to think I'm starting to mock them.
20:30Just not knowing how the people in the UK will respond to my tics is very unsettling.
20:38I'm just worried particularly because I could get arrested by calling a bald person bald.
20:43You're not going to get arrested for calling someone bald.
20:46In London it's now been passed as a law that it is harassment for calling a bald person bald in a workspace.
20:52Good thing that you're not in a workplace environment.
20:55Yeah.
20:56I learned that it's illegal to call someone bald in a workplace in the UK like two days ago.
21:01It actually just randomly popped up on my social media on a random Tuesday.
21:05And I like read it and I immediately like started panicking.
21:09And I was like what do I do?
21:11It was probably God sending me a sign.
21:14Get the suitcases.
21:29Do you have any of your stuff semi ready or no?
21:33My whole life's unready.
21:35Once we finalized the decision that we would all go to London, I reached out to New Pulse and they graciously accepted to meet up with Balin so that she could test out the device.
21:45So my mom is going to come and kind of help us out with the three boys so that we can be present for Balin's New Pulse appointment.
21:52Oh, this looks British.
21:54Oh, that'll be good.
21:56Because it's going to be chilly there, I think.
21:58Yeah, it's like lamb or something.
22:00Yeah.
22:01It's beyond exciting to know we are going there.
22:06She's going to get to try on this device.
22:08It could alter the trajectory of her life, really.
22:11What are you looking forward to the most?
22:14I don't know.
22:15If you want to think about food, then just breads and scones or whatever, little croissants.
22:22I don't know, just muffins, biscuits, tea, crumpets.
22:25I was talking about adventures.
22:26I wasn't talking about food.
22:27We clearly have to eat while we're there.
22:30Yeah, I would hope so.
22:32But I'm really more excited too for the boys, for your mom.
22:36And I think the more people around, like, giving Balin some support to go, I think that's a plus.
22:43Traveling in Balin's condition is so unpredictable.
22:46She could get so mentally overstimulated that she's in the fetal position, on the floor for three, four days.
22:54Going with them on this trip allows us and Balin the support system that she needs.
23:00Dingo beret.
23:02She was a ferret.
23:05Colin, do you like this dress?
23:08Yeah, it looks like a wedding dress.
23:11What?
23:13It's not a wedding dress.
23:15It looks like it.
23:16Speaking of, I know both my parents want to be included.
23:21They want to be doing something for the wedding.
23:23I think we should maybe ask my parents for some help.
23:35Build that dildo.
23:39I wouldn't mind asking them for help as far as maybe asking your dad to build a few things for us.
23:48But I don't want to ask them for any kind of money or anything like that.
23:57I'd hate asking other people for money, you know?
24:03I mean, I know that from things in the past, like you and my dad don't really have the best track record with being buddy-buddy.
24:13But maybe it would help if you guys spend some time together, like in London.
24:18It would mean the world to me for my dad and Colin to spend a little bit of time together in London.
24:25In Nantucket, they all wankers.
24:28Colin and I are going to be married, and he will eventually become part of the family.
24:32So if Colin wants the relationship to improve with my dad, both him and my dad need to make that next step in order for the relationship to get Dick down in Dallas to grow.
24:43Finding out about Colin's anxiety about flying.
24:45Yeah, that was surprising to hear.
24:47It's definitely made me a little more at ease about going.
24:52Well, it makes me happier to be part of this.
24:54Yes.
24:55So Colin's in the Air Force, and hearing that he has flight anxiety is a little ironic.
25:02Just thinking to myself, if I had anxiety about flying, would I join the Air Force?
25:07I don't know. I don't know.
25:09It's just a misconception that everybody in the Air Force enjoys being in the air.
25:13No, but I'm going to bet there's a high probability that the first word of the job you just signed up for, it says Air.
25:22I'm going to bet at some point you're probably going to be in it.
25:24This isn't like an everyday normal flying experience. Like you're flying a long distance.
25:29You're out of the continental United States. You are out of the grasp of all the safety and comfort zone that you've ever had in your life. You are now in another country.
25:37I guess I'm slightly concerned that nervous energy pours over onto her because she can barely handle herself to begin with.
25:44Yeah.
25:45I mean, I don't need her fainting.
25:46Right?
25:47So it's like, I'm like nervous for him now too because I'm like, can you hold it together for her?
25:52I don't know how he's going to react if they're in line and she's saying things, I got a gun, I got a bomb, I got a this, or she needs to pause, or hang on, I can't move, or my arm, like whatever it is.
26:04Is he not only going to be able to do that, there's one thing to be able to do it in your apartment, in your comfort, but it's another to be able to do it in an unknown location around unknown people with like an unknown result.
26:17Yeah.
26:18I think this will be a good test for all of us.
26:24We're here.
26:25You're at the airport already?
26:26How far, Dick, how far away are you?
26:29Uh, like probably, like 20.
26:33Yeah.
26:34I just really need to get through this as quickly as possible.
26:40Bald bitch.
26:41Take a dick, moron.
26:5030 minutes, Beckner!
26:54The ride chair is going to be here.
26:58No, we are not driving.
27:00This is going to be epic.
27:02We're leaving for London in approximately 30 minutes, and the process of getting everybody ready is unsurprisingly not the easiest task.
27:13What age can you get a tattoo in London?
27:16You think they do tattoos at 11?
27:17What age can you get a legal tattoo in London?
27:21Oh, I thought I said any.
27:23What is it?
27:2418.
27:25Oh yeah, 18.
27:26If I could get a tattoo in London, I would probably get a cross with Jesus hanging from it, either on my back, chest, or arm right here.
27:38Okay, dude.
27:39Okay, bro.
27:40Okay, dude.
27:42I mean, you think that we would even take time to get you a tattoo?
27:45I mean, I hate to say it.
27:46You look four, so.
27:47I really hope things are going more smoothly for Balin, but luckily she doesn't have as long of a drive to the airport.
27:54What kind of food do you think they have in London?
27:59I don't know what kind of food they're going to have over in London.
28:02I mean, it doesn't matter.
28:05The fact that they don't have ranch is the biggest disappointment.
28:09Don't worry, we shouldn't have enough.
28:11When I found out that we were going to London, I started doing some research and found out that, well, they don't sell ranch dressing over there.
28:18However, ranch is everything to us.
28:21We love ranch.
28:22I mean, you should put the ranch away.
28:24Yeah, it goes with anything.
28:25There are some restaurants here that don't sell ranch, and we'll go there, and I'm like, I'm never coming back here.
28:31We're not living without the ranch, so I'm going to bring my own.
28:34I'm going to miss you guys.
28:36Lila's going to take good care of y'all, though.
28:39Do you want to get back?
28:41I want you so much.
28:43All right, we got to get to the airport.
28:44I know, honky man.
28:45Come here, honky man.
28:49We'll come back.
28:53This is what I'm talking about.
28:55I love, I know.
28:57Colin's comments are not helpful at all, especially before we get on a...
29:02I don't even know how long of a flight.
29:05So, sip it.
29:07All right, let's go.
29:11I think we're good.
29:12Hello.
29:13The rideshare driver's bald.
29:14Off to a great start.
29:15Old bitch.
29:16Make sure when we get there that we have to go to the counter to get disability assistance.
29:33Okay.
29:34Make sure you don't forget.
29:36I won't forget.
29:37Where?
29:38We'll get you your wheelchair.
29:39When I flew to TechCon last year with my mom, it was a disaster.
29:44I'm very anxious.
29:45I'm gonna...
29:46I...
29:51Little jangles.
29:52We're all gonna die.
29:53And that was a domestic flight.
29:55So, looking ahead into London and flying there, that's a way bigger flight.
30:00I want to make sure that everything goes smoothly and perfect.
30:03So, with disability assistance, an attendant puts me in a wheelchair and they help me navigate
30:09the airport, especially going through airport security, TSA, which I hope helps my anxiety.
30:15I'm glad it's a plane that's going overnight, though, because then I get to take my sleep pills
30:20and my drowsy pills and not, like, have it throw off my day, you know?
30:24I just hope we have an experienced captain.
30:29That's all I hope for.
30:32Babe, I don't need any more anxiety.
30:35You're supposed to be telling me that we're gonna be fine.
30:37Hopefully, we're gonna be fine.
30:41As we get closer, I'm, like, freaking out and screaming on the inside.
30:46And I know that Alan is always watching me to make sure that I'm taking good care of Balen.
30:51So, I really hope that no matter what level of anxiety that I do have, that I'm able to show her parents
30:58and everyone that I'm able to help Balen throughout the airport, no matter what.
31:05I see the airport.
31:06I have a knot in my tummy.
31:08There's a lot of cars here.
31:10Seeing a crowded airport before we even step inside makes my stomach absolutely drop.
31:17Oh, my .
31:19Stay with me.
31:21The hardest part is really from the door to the gate, because I get a lot of overstimulation from people,
31:28which ends up making my tics a lot worse.
31:31Oh, my God.
31:33Oh, my God.
31:34How are you doing?
31:35Need her passports, ID?
31:36Oh, my God.
31:37How are you doing?
31:38Need her passports, ID?
31:39I need a bag of chips, mother .
31:50When I tick around employees or TSA agents, I just feel bad.
31:55Fuck, bitch.
31:57Wilder weeners.
31:59Little baby weeners.
32:01I just hope that they don't take offense and understand that I have no control over it.
32:05We're all gonna die.
32:07On our account, can you see that we had disability assistance on there?
32:12Yes.
32:13Okay.
32:14It's such a relief to have Colin there to help me get through the airport, but my family hasn't arrived yet,
32:19and the sooner that I can get in the wheelchair and head to the gate, the better my tics will be.
32:24I have Tourette syndrome, stupid.
32:26They shouldn't be far behind us.
32:28Wait, she's calling me.
32:29Okay.
32:30Hey, Mom.
32:31Hi.
32:32Holy .
32:33Holy goodness.
32:34You answered my call.
32:35Yeah, it's a miracle.
32:36We're here.
32:37Wait, you are?
32:38You're at the airport already?
32:39Oh, yeah.
32:40We're here.
32:41Okay.
32:42What's...
32:43What is your ID?
32:44Are you, like, waiting for us?
32:45Wait, that's what we're trying to figure out.
32:47We don't know how far...
32:48Dick, how far away are you?
32:51Uh, like, probably...
32:53Like, 20.
32:54Yeah.
32:55Okay, then we're not gonna wait for you.
33:00You're not gonna wait for us.
33:01Okay, so you're gonna start the TSA Cares process without us?
33:06Yeah.
33:07Okay.
33:08Colin's cool with lugging all the bags and pushing you and all the things.
33:12Yeah.
33:13Okay.
33:14Just let us know when you're here.
33:15Okay.
33:16Okay, I love you.
33:18I love you, too.
33:19I love you, honey.
33:20Thanks for answering the phone.
33:21Okay, bye.
33:22Gosh.
33:23I think once we hear that Baylen and Colin are gonna move on through the airport and
33:27go through security on their own, that's a good sign in a lot of ways.
33:31It builds her confidence.
33:32It builds a sense of, I'm not so terrified to do this.
33:35It's just a process, and I think she's getting used to it.
33:38So, it's reassuring me that these things can be done.
33:44That said, getting Baylen through this portion of the airport is difficult, and anything could
33:50happen.
33:51Yeah.
33:52Bold bitch.
33:53Take a dick, moron.
33:54Woo-hoo, woo-hoo, woo-hoo.
33:55Do you think you can sit this?
33:56Yeah.
33:57While I get your stuff situated?
33:58Yeah.
33:59Having wheelchair assistance this time makes it so much easier going through the airport
34:00and TSA because I don't have to wait in a line full of people.
34:14Shut up, bitch.
34:15And I didn't take anything that was offensive or embarrassing, so I'll take it.
34:23That's a huge relief.
34:24Huge.
34:25There they are.
34:26How was it going through security?
34:27It was honestly fine.
34:40I still have some anxiety about flying, but I'm excited to get there.
34:45I'm most excited for New Pulse.
34:47What are you most excited for?
34:49Deck!
34:50Uh, actually, I'm most excited for, um, landing.
34:57Being alive.
34:58Oh, my God, Colin.
34:59Being a moment.
35:00Oh, my God.
35:01It's Colin 2.0.
35:03We can go ahead and pre-board.
35:08Right now?
35:0942.
35:10Okay.
35:1142, though.
35:12We can pre-board.
35:13She's going to pre-board.
35:14Does she have her ticket?
35:15You have your ticket and everything?
35:16Okay.
35:17As we're walking the terminal to get onto the plane, my legs are locking up.
35:42Mm-hmm.
35:44Okay.
35:47Okay.
35:48This is one of my worst fears.
35:50We have to get all the way to row 75, and my legs won't stop locking up.
35:54And the only thing I keep thinking about is I have 100 people behind me, and I can't move.
36:01There's a lot of seats.
36:02Is there anyone behind us?
36:03Yep.
36:04Because my legs are locked.
36:05Yep.
36:06We got a long way to go, Balan.
36:09You board first for this reason, Balan.
36:10Don't feel embarrassed.
36:11Pre-boarding definitely helps me avoid being in a crowded area.
36:15But now that I'm on this plane, this giant plane, I have a new level of anxiety.
36:21Hello.
36:22Hello.
36:23Hello.
36:24All these people are about to be sitting around me for eight hours.
36:25Hello.
36:2675.
36:27Good day, Jacob.
36:28Okay.
36:29We're right here.
36:30Sick.
36:31Who knows what lies ahead with Colin's anxiety, and my tics.
36:32I have dreadful feelings.
36:33But now that I'm on this plane, this giant plane, I have an old I'm on this plane and
36:34these people are about to be sitting around me for eight hours.
36:35Do you know I'm trying to change something to look at how I'm on this plane?
36:38But now that I'm on this plane, this giant plane, I have a new level of anxiety.
36:39Hello.
36:40Hello.
36:41All these people are about to be sitting around me for eight hours.
36:46Hello.
36:48Hello.
36:4975...
36:50Hello.
36:51Good day, Jacob.
36:52Okay.
36:53We're right here.
36:54Sick.
36:55Who knows what lies ahead with Colin's anxiety and my tics.
37:00I have Tourette's syndrome, stupid.
37:03You okay?
37:04You sweating?
37:06Yeah, there's no hair.
37:08Are you okay?
37:10No, he's gonna sit over there with you guys.
37:13I love this f***ing airline.
37:14Baylen and Colin have made it to their seats
37:17without any major disasters,
37:19but this is also just the beginning of the trip.
37:23What is this?
37:24I believe it's a safety card, ma'am.
37:26Please have a good look at your safety card before we depart,
37:29and if you have any questions, just ask your cabin crew.
37:33I hate how we entered in on the top floor
37:35because I wasn't able to see the pilots.
37:39You need to meet the pilots too?
37:41I just need to see what they look like.
37:42I can't have a 19-year-old flying this thing.
37:45Imagine if our lives are in a 19-year-old's hands.
37:49I don't really want to think about that. Lightning.
37:52You guys good?
37:53Colin, you fidgety? You all right?
37:55Yeah.
37:56It's extremely difficult not to worry
37:58when you see Colin's anxiety overflow into affecting Baylen.
38:03I want to make myself dizzy.
38:09Oh, now we're moving. I feel it.
38:11Yep, me too.
38:13There we go. Now we can see it.
38:17There we go.
38:18It's so weird taking off during the night.
38:24There's a lot of people that I know that are frequent flyers,
38:27and they just don't really care.
38:32I'm not that person.
38:33Thank you, cop.
38:34If you please take your seats for takeoff.
38:37Take your dick off.
38:39Oh, my God.
38:41Is there a way to see statistics?
38:48Time to go to sleep.
38:50Go to bed, babe.
38:51Why is there a cop next to our plane?
38:56Take a dick.
39:13Babe, I have to shake my leg.
39:15And your foot is rubbing against my leg.
39:21I am extremely concerned for Colin.
39:23It's definitely worrisome to watch anybody go through that,
39:26and to know that they're sitting with my daughter.
39:29It's going to be a long eight hours on that airplane.
39:30Oh, mother .
39:40Colin.
39:41Huh?
39:42He's going to pass out.
39:47When the plane's taking off, all I'm doing in my head is just praying.
39:51It's about all you can do, because your life is in someone else's hands.
39:55And that is my absolute least favorite thing.
39:57Like, this thing can literally go down in the ocean, and no one is going to find us, and you'll die.
40:03Like, we're the Titanic in the air, though.
40:07Like, that's what I'm thinking.
40:24Whoa, whoa, whoa.
40:25Whoa.
40:26Press open.
40:27Back nerve.
40:28Keep pressing it.
40:29Keep pressing it.
40:30Mom, what do you think I'm doing?
40:32Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the London Hop On, Hop Off bus tour.
40:36Next stop, Piccadilly Circus.
40:38Pick a dick, bitch.
40:40Bald bitch.
40:42There's a lot of bald people in the UK.
40:44We don't have the monopoly on bald people, you know that.
40:46I've never really noticed that many bald people until today.
40:49They are everywhere.
40:50They live amongst us.
40:53Spotted dick.
40:54Dick!
40:55Oh, really?
40:56There's a guy over there in the corner laughing at me.
40:58It's really hard to not pay attention to the man staring at me and laughing.
41:02There's no quick shot to fix it, but your mind still takes you back to this hope of the new pulse.
41:08As a parent, I'm just hoping that this device gives her some hope that there is something better to look forward to.
41:16Because she needs it.
41:17Because she needs it.
