00:00Let's start off with the showdown between Miami and Texas A&M.
00:03You pretty much called it last week here on the show.
00:05You thought that Miami had a great shot.
00:07Well, not only did that happen, but they had a chance to win,
00:09and they did an ugly, ugly first half in this one.
00:13The Hurricanes' lone touchdown was enough.
00:15A&M had the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win,
00:18but it was the defense of Miami that came through.
00:22What did you make of this performance?
00:24Certainly, you have to give them a lot of credit to go on the road and win this one.
00:27But Reuben Bain may have established himself as a potential number one draft pick.
00:32You know, having the three of the seven sacks, that pressure was unrelenting.
00:36And they, as we talked about last week, Craig,
00:39Marcel Reed made the mistakes, the two interceptions.
00:42Carson Beck didn't and had a low-budget game plan maybe,
00:46but Mark Fletcher was able to have the big run at the right time.
00:49I was impressed with how Miami responded to the turnover by Malachi Toney,
00:53and then they bounced back and win the game.
00:55I think special teams a disaster on both sides, but the Hurricanes,
00:59they may have lost that game in the past,
01:01but was impressed with their ability to win,
01:03and I'm happy on some level that we have Miami in a big game on New Year's Day.
