00:00Hold on to your seats. In this episode of Doctor Who Unleashed, we have the exclusive inside story of the 15th Doctor's Regeneration.
00:11You know what's going to happen when you get cast. You're like, I'm going to have to hand this baton over one time. It's all going to come to an end soon.
00:16Yeah.
00:17Look who's back.
00:18You've redecorated.
00:20I don't like it.
00:22Nobody knows really that Jodie's here. I only found out this morning.
00:25Oh, did you?
00:25That's not so much of a secret this is.
00:27Oh, right.
00:28OK. We've got an exclusive interview with the Hooniverse's latest star.
00:33And we say goodbye for now to not one, but two companions.
00:38I just had a moment where I was like, I'm actually just saying goodbye to all of this.
00:45And so, for the last time this series, welcome to Doctor Who Unleashed.
00:49Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
01:04Where to begin?
01:06Well, there's only one place we can begin, really.
01:09Joy to the world!
01:10The end.
01:13The end of the season, the end of an era, the end of the 15th Doctor.
01:18How have you felt then, realising these last few weeks will have been your last, as the Doctor winding down, how have you felt?
01:35How are you feeling?
01:35Feeling, feeling complete, feeling, you know it's going to happen when you get cast, you're like, I'm going to have to hand this baton over one time, it's all going to come to an end soon.
01:46Yeah.
01:46And so, I feel like I've been in constant preparation for that.
01:52It's been bittersweet, as I can imagine, it's been for all doctors.
01:58Just looking at the console before regenerating was like, my God, this console has been here for 60 years.
02:06Yeah, yeah.
02:06And I was here for some of those years.
02:08And how magic, but also, my body is tired.
02:13You've tired me.
02:14You've tired me, and I'm old now, and I'm ready.
02:17Yeah.
02:18Ready to settle down.
02:19Ouch!
02:22When you will get a chance to reflect back on the last couple of years as the Doctor, how do you think you'll feel?
02:27What will be your emotions?
02:32Pure joy and, like, magic, and, like, this was a magic time.
02:41It's a demanding role.
02:43So, it demands a lot of you.
02:46And so, because of that, you're, like, in a state of, like, just doing when you're in it.
02:52And it's only in these, like, final moments, or what will be in, like, future moments, where you look back and you're like, wow, we created something special.
03:00And also, I was a part of a show that is so special and so magical and legendary.
03:08Yeah.
03:08You can't help but, like, replay just all your first moments in here.
03:18Yeah.
03:18The first time I was on Wires with Millie on that corner.
03:21Introducing Ruby to the, to the jukebox.
03:26Oh, jukebox.
03:28I like that.
03:29Running around all of you.
03:30Like, you, that was playing in my head in the final scenes.
03:33Come on.
03:35That looks good.
03:37I was just like, oh, so, so much fun.
03:42Yeah.
03:42And so much joy and so much brilliance.
03:44And, yeah, I will look back on it with a full, full heart.
03:47If I had to press you, which I do, on a, on a particular favourite memory.
03:53I don't know.
03:53Doing something, like, whenever I was on the Wires and you're, like, in a ridiculous situation, which you are in a lot of the time in this show.
04:02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:03Where, like, there's a lot of people working and you're, like, dangling 20 feet high on somewhere and you just have to have a chat.
04:10Yeah, yeah.
04:12Three, two, one, go.
04:15Ah!
04:17And rest.
04:19Cut there.
04:21This will be your first interview after this happened.
04:24Okay.
04:24So fans will be watching this and they'll be sad, some of them, that you'll be moving on.
04:29What would your message to them be?
04:30I love you.
04:31I love you, Whovians, so much.
04:33Thank you so much for embracing me.
04:35The level of love that the Whovians pour into the show is part of the magic of the show.
04:41They give so much to the show.
04:43And so thank you all, Whovians, for, like, for embracing me, embracing Millie, embracing V in this new chapter that Doctor Who's in.
04:51And just for all the love and support, it's been truly heartfelt.
04:59So keep doing what you're doing.
05:01Keep leaking our set locations and all the craziness that you do.
05:05Love.
05:07This has been an absolute joy.
05:14The 15th Doctor might be saying adios, amigos, but there's a new star rising in the two-part finale.
05:25Meow.
05:26All you Whovians will have immediately clocked that John and Belinda's daughter, Poppy, is somewhat familiar.
05:32A very young Sienna Robin, Mavanga Phipps, starred as Captain Poppy in last season's Space Babies.
05:39I'm Captain Poppy, and I kept the station running for Mummy and Daddy, because we knew you'd come back for us one day.
05:47That was then.
05:49This is now.
05:5012 months later, Sienna's back.
05:53No longer a baby, now a toddler.
05:56And as this is unleashed, we've got a world-exclusive interview with the star herself.
06:01So is she excited to be back?
06:03Doctor Who?
06:04Now they do say never work with children or animals, but you're having a ball working with little Sienna.
06:10Oh my God, she's gorgeous.
06:12She's just perfect.
06:14I got your nose.
06:15You've got my nose.
06:17It was a little trickier this time, because like, just at the start, because she's a bit older, she was a bit more aware, so things were a bit scarier to her.
06:25Yeah.
06:26But then she got used to me and V, and then she started asking to go again.
06:29We'd finish a take, and she was like, again?
06:31It's a delight being able to work with her.
06:34She's so funny.
06:35Who house is this?
06:37It's Shuti's house.
06:39What?
06:40She comes out with some absolute gems.
06:44Flick.
06:45Flick.
06:46I mean, Shuti's obviously got his amazing denim, kilt, outfit thing, and, you know, we all just acknowledge that he looks absolutely incredible.
06:56He leans in, and the first thing she said is, what are you wearing?
07:01It was so funny.
07:08I wonder whether they've got that on camera, because that happened, and it was brilliant.
07:12Oh, she's gorgeous.
07:15There was a moment when we were shooting with Sienna.
07:18I asked, well, what else would she be?
07:23And completely, you know, deadpan, said,
07:27Doctor Who.
07:33Wow.
07:34She's coming for your job, Shuti.
07:35She is.
07:36She is.
07:37She's Doctor Who.
07:39She is the real star of Doctor Who.
07:41Both seasons strong, standout performance, man.
07:45That's the next Doctor, I'm telling you.
07:48Hi, happy news.
07:54Still to come on Doctor Who Unleashed.
07:57We say goodbye to not one, but two companions.
08:01Hi.
08:02I join the costume department for my work experience.
08:06So we've got to put this down, down these...
08:11And we're there to capture Shuti's very last moments as the 15th Doctor.
08:16She's get where you were at.
08:23But first...
08:25Every day, we get what's called a call sheet.
08:31A list of what's being shot that day,
08:33and the names of all the actors that are going to be on set.
08:36Now, this morning, there's a bit of a buzz,
08:39as one of the actors on the call sheet is called Petrol.
08:42Nothing else, just Petrol.
08:45But who is this mysterious Petrol?
08:47Well, there have been wild rumours flying around.
08:50Is it Daniel Craig?
08:51Is it Dame Judi Dench or Lady Gaga?
08:54Just some of the names being mentioned.
08:56Whoever it is, it must be someone of significance.
08:59As Russell's on set today, and he's looking rather excited.
09:03The Unleashed crew have gone off in search of director Alex Pillai,
09:06and he's about to reveal who Petrol actually is.
09:10So, we are awaiting the arrival of Jodie Whittaker
09:14for our fantastic scene with the two doctors,
09:17the 13th and the 15th doctors on our TARDIS.
09:21And the interesting thing is that Jodie has not seen the set.
09:24So, when she comes in, we're going to take her up the stairs
09:28and reveal all of it.
09:35There you go to go, I know it.
09:39What an entry!
09:40Hello, darling!
09:41You can hear us going with her!
09:42Of course I've got...
09:43Well, Jonathan here follows me everywhere.
09:46On holiday?
09:47In the loo, everything.
09:49Are you ready to go and have a look?
09:50Yeah.
09:51Go there.
09:51Oh, my God, it's massive!
09:57So beautiful.
09:59Yeah, isn't this immense?
10:01So, yes, Petrol is 13th doctor, Jodie Whittaker.
10:05So, what does it feel like to be back on a set of Doctor Who, then?
10:07I am incredibly hyperactive.
10:10There's a few familiar faces.
10:13Yeah.
10:13Some of which I haven't seen literally since I left,
10:17and I felt incredibly emotional when I saw them.
10:20But also, getting back into my costume, I was, like, a pig in poo.
10:26Very well put.
10:27Yeah, very well put.
10:28But I was, A, delighted it still fit,
10:30and delighted that I still look classy!
10:34But I've got a wig.
10:36That's the only difference.
10:37But I think it's such a good wig.
10:38I've got long brown hair at the moment.
10:39Yeah.
10:40And that's not very 13.
10:41The 13th doctor was last seen in October 2022,
10:47when she regenerated into the 14th doctor,
10:50the returning David Tennant.
10:52So, how did Jodie react when she was invited back?
10:56Like, yeah, I don't need to read anything,
10:58I don't need to know anything.
10:59Yeah.
10:59I probably won't even know my lines, guys.
11:01But I was, like, whatever it is, I'll be there.
11:04But I did know I was working.
11:06Yeah.
11:06So that was the only tense thing,
11:08was that I already knew I was going to be away on another job,
11:11which obviously couldn't know about this job,
11:13but needed to kind of release me.
11:15Yeah.
11:15So, all back to the joys of secretive Doctor Who,
11:19which, the anxiety and stress of keeping secrets,
11:22I was, like, long gone, and then now I'm back in it.
11:24What are you doing here?
11:26I've been popped.
11:28Like, pop out of my own timeline,
11:30because there's a great big time schism on its way,
11:33caused by you.
11:34You just slip back into it.
11:36I'll tell you what, because I pitched 13 at, like,
11:39when I was looking at the lines, I was like, oh, God.
11:42It's quite meaty, it's quite script, isn't it?
11:44And I obviously can't let the better Doctor down.
11:49And I've never met him, but I'm having such a lovely time.
11:51Yeah.
11:51And I knew there were one proper sci-fi line.
11:55That was going to get wrong.
11:56Is this going to hurt?
11:58Try shifting your third strand.
12:00Is this going to hurt?
12:02Try shifting your third strand phenomarkers.
12:05One microspasm to the left, it just might help.
12:08And I have got it wrong multiple times.
12:10But you've also got it right?
12:11Yeah.
12:12And do you know what?
12:12You only need one take.
12:14Exactly.
12:14And a really great editor.
12:16Thank you, Mr. Editor, for sorting that out.
12:18Miz.
12:19Oh, yeah.
12:19So, Miz Editor, for sorting that out.
12:20Good point.
12:22Now, it's all very secret that you're here.
12:24Like, you're...
12:25Nobody knows, really, that Jodie's here.
12:26I only found out this morning.
12:28Oh, did I?
12:28So, that's how much of a secret this is.
12:30Oh, right.
12:31OK?
12:32You've got a coordinate.
12:33Did you know that?
12:34Yeah.
12:34I've had to learn my lines like that, and it's really thrown me.
12:37But, oh, no.
12:38Do you mean the character name that I've got?
12:39Yeah.
12:39So, on the call sheet, you're down as Petra.
12:41You know, I know.
12:42And so, in the scene, when I was learning my lines, the Dr. 15 was Clive.
12:47You wasn't Clive.
12:47Clive and Petrol.
12:49Do you get to choose a coordinate?
12:50I've got, like, an actual, like, I've got a pseudonym for, like, checking into hotels,
12:54which I'm not putting online.
12:55No, no, no, keep that to yourself.
12:57There's not much of a pseudonym, then, is there?
12:58Yeah.
12:58But if you were in a hotel and someone called Petrol beat you, you know who it is.
13:02Petrol Whitaker.
13:03Yeah.
13:06So, Jodie was Petrol and Shooty was Clive, which got me to thinking...
13:10When you're, you know, maybe one day sneaking back in as Belinda for some storyline in the far future of Doctor Who Knows,
13:18and you've got to be a coordinate.
13:19Yeah.
13:20What would your coordinate be?
13:21Jumpsuit.
13:22Oh, that's good.
13:24She loves a good jumpsuit.
13:26She loves a good jumpsuit.
13:28I don't know.
13:30Checkered?
13:31I wear so much check.
13:32I mean, maybe pinstripe, actually.
13:34Pinstripe, yeah.
13:35I'm dressed like David Tennant for this episode, so, yeah, I'll be pinstripe.
13:40Have you ever had a coordinate in the past, or would you have a coordinate?
13:43What?
13:45Straight away.
13:46Oh, coffee bean, that's a good one.
13:48That is a good one.
13:49Yeah.
13:49Be coffee head.
13:50Yeah.
13:51Do you have a nickname in school, maybe, or do you have a pet, do you have a pet or a name?
13:55Oh, my nickname in primary school is Chopsy, so, I don't know whether that would be very good on a course sheet.
14:02Chopsy.
14:02I like it.
14:04But, no.
14:04For the non-Welish people watching, Chopsy means...
14:07Like, talkative.
14:08Yeah.
14:08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:09Or mouthy.
14:10Yeah.
14:12I've got a funny skill.
14:13Okay.
14:14I can tap dance.
14:15Right.
14:15And I still tap dance.
14:16Tino.
14:16Maybe I'd be the tapper.
14:17There we are.
14:21Probably butterfly.
14:22Butterfly's a good one.
14:23Float in and out.
14:24Yeah.
14:25No one notices me on set.
14:27I'm going to go diesel.
14:28I'm trying to think what diesel means.
14:30I mean, it sounds quite, it sounds like quite earthy, quite rustic.
14:33Sounds cool.
14:33It does sound cool.
14:35It's like a motorbiking thing.
14:36Yeah, and you've got a leather jacket.
14:37Yeah, yeah.
14:38So, maybe that's the vibe I want to go for.
14:39Yeah, okay, right, right.
14:40Then they meet me and they go, he ain't that.
14:42Yeah.
14:43It is.
14:44When we had our special guest in here the other day, and on the call sheet, she was known
14:49as Petrol.
14:50She was called Petrol.
14:51Why?
14:52I'll tell you why.
14:54Because one day, I think there'll be a companion called Petrol.
14:57It's been a name that's been in my head for a long while.
15:00Is it?
15:00Yeah, and I might use it one day.
15:02I might not.
15:03I might go have someone called Felicity from 1602 or something.
15:06But equally, Petrol.
15:07It's a good name.
15:08Oh, you like it.
15:08Okay, there we are.
15:09Yeah, it works, doesn't it?
15:10Everyone kind of picked up on that.
15:11Yeah, well, we did.
15:12We've been asking everyone what their codename would be as a result.
15:14Exactly.
15:15No one's not going, what's the codename?
15:16Something about the word Petrol that goes, ping, like that.
15:18So one day, maybe you might see a Petrol in the Doctor.
15:26Without wishing to turn this episode into a wake,
15:29we're also here to say farewell to not one, but two companions.
15:33Ruby Sunday.
15:34What's your name?
15:35Ruby.
15:36Ruby Sunday.
15:37Hello, Ruby Sunday.
15:39I'm the Doctor.
15:40Hi.
15:41And Belinda Chandra.
15:42So what's your name?
15:44Doctor what?
15:45Just the Doctor.
15:46All right, then.
15:47I'm called the Nurse.
15:48I have loved playing Belinda.
15:51I love the idea that I get to play this fiery, powerful, strong woman
15:58who is constantly tested by this nutcase of a man.
16:04Doctor, I told you, get me home.
16:07There's no other job that would give you the opportunity
16:10to be able to see the same character in all these different circumstances.
16:14No!
16:15Oh my God, Miss Rowland!
16:17I don't know if I'll ever have that again.
16:22I know this is the end of Belinda for now, but it's never really the end.
16:25It's the end, Doctor Who's here.
16:26Come on.
16:26We've all, we've all, we've all, we all know what happens.
16:29So you'll probably be back in eventually.
16:30But in terms of this bit, are you, have you had a chance to reflect back on it so far?
16:35Are you still in the middle of, actually, I've got to finish it off first.
16:37You know, there are moments where it catches you out.
16:40When we were shooting in the garden for the goodbye sequence, I just had a moment where I was like,
16:45Oh, I'm actually, I'm actually just saying goodbye to all of this.
16:51Which I probably should have thought about before that day.
16:55Yeah, did it catch you?
16:56It did, but then it's also, when you're holding a baby, it's like, I can't fall apart when I'm holding you.
17:03So I have to hold it together.
17:05Yeah.
17:05Even though my instinct is to just be like, bye, you know, but.
17:11Yeah.
17:12Yeah, it did.
17:12It really caught me.
17:13It's always after filming a show that I get the post-show blues.
17:17And I think I'm going to be looking back at all the Unleashed episodes and all the footage very, very fondly.
17:29This is the end of a journey that you started with shooting, you know, all that time ago.
17:33What's it like to be here at the end?
17:35You were there at the beginning, now you're here at the end as well.
17:37Oh, my gosh.
17:37I remember that.
17:38I mean, I remember when I met you.
17:40Yeah.
17:41Hello, has anybody seen Millie anywhere?
17:42Has anybody?
17:43Oh, you're there.
17:44Sorry.
17:45Oh, my gosh, yeah, it seems like forever ago and also yesterday.
17:49I think we've both been on such a prominent journey together and it's a very unique one as well.
17:54I feel like no one really understands this experience until you're in the Hooniverse world.
17:59Yeah.
18:06From kilts and coats to spacesuits and sharpsuits.
18:11Action.
18:11The costume department design, create and manage all of the cast's clothing.
18:17For this episode's work experience, I'm being entrusted to help one thread of this very big department.
18:23Well, Michelle, I'm excited to be with you today.
18:26What exactly is your title?
18:28Because it's quite, it's a big department and I can't be honest with you, I don't know exactly what everybody does.
18:33I know you're all busy, everybody flies around and everybody's holding stuff.
18:36So I'm a principal costume standby.
18:38Yeah.
18:38So I mainly do principals.
18:39Yeah, so principals, that means that's the main actors and rather than the supporting actors.
18:43Yeah, yeah.
18:44As the principal costume standby, Michelle is responsible for dressing and maintaining the main character actors.
18:52And there's lots to do even before the cameras start rolling.
18:56Obviously, you're a sort of a bit of a linchpin, right?
18:59Because you're looking after what they look like.
19:00But all the departments must come to you, I suppose.
19:03You're working with everyone.
19:04Yeah, so sound in the morning, we work with sound.
19:07So we've got to make sure that the mics are hidden.
19:10And so that's what we're going to be doing in a minute.
19:13It's OK for us to mic.
19:14First task of the day, mic up one of the principal actors.
19:18Hi.
19:19And lucky for Vareda, it's her.
19:22So you've got to make sure basically this goes on without messing any of the work that you've already done.
19:26Yeah, so the sound department have come up this very clever, clever...
19:30So we've got to put this down, down V's top.
19:35So let's...
19:36Are we going under the vest?
19:39Under the vest.
19:41Wait.
19:41The great thing with this is you don't have to undo any of the costume.
19:45So then...
19:45So that goes down the...
19:46I did not think the sound would go down the leg.
19:49I can pull that back.
19:50Oh, yeah.
19:50Thank God.
19:51This is quite...
19:52It's early in the morning.
19:53People will want to chat sometimes.
19:54They'll be in the zone, right?
19:55And you've got to feed off that if you're not putting a costume on.
19:57I'm very good at, like, kind of that non-verbal dialogue.
20:00You know, especially if there's a lot of lines to learn.
20:03Yeah.
20:04I just come in like a little ninja and just kind of, you know, do my bits, help out and then go out.
20:09So, yeah, I'm very respectful.
20:10The best thing about Michelle is keeping me warm.
20:14Like, you're the best at keeping me warm.
20:16I'll be dreading, like, wearing the dress that day.
20:18And somehow I just...
20:20I've got nothing to worry about because I'll just be totally warm, like, the whole time.
20:24Bit like a mum, kind of.
20:26I like to make sure that everybody is comfortable and warm and, you know, so you can do your job as well, you know?
20:31Yeah.
20:32So that's the most important thing.
20:33So it's...
20:34And on that note, we should probably let you go and do your job.
20:36Yes. Yeah.
20:36So what I'm discovering so far is that keeping people warm is really important in this job.
20:42And also, like, having chat.
20:43Lots of chat or sometimes no chat at all.
20:46So, like, we've got small talk game and this could be the job game.
20:50Right, time to mosey on over to the unit set for today's scenes.
20:56There are lots of actors with lots of costumes and lots of details to be checked.
21:03So Michelle and I set up where we can oversee everything.
21:07So these are the checks monitors, are they?
21:09Yes.
21:09So when they rehearse, they'll rehearse then on camera and then we can see kind of what's going on.
21:15To see what the costume's doing.
21:17Do we need to do any rigging?
21:18And what I like to do is I like to kind of do in my head, like, pre-checks,
21:22what do I need, what's the costume doing, what kind of do I need to do on checks?
21:26Yeah.
21:26Because you have maybe about 30 seconds to a minute to do checks.
21:29Right.
21:30So you've got to solve loads of problems.
21:31So checks is when basically they're about to start filming and they call checks and everybody runs in.
21:35That's to make sure that everything looks good so that they can start filming.
21:38Yeah.
21:39With a break in rehearsals, Michelle and I get to work,
21:43making sure the cast are looking as they should and staying warm and comfortable.
21:47Oh, thank you.
21:48Nice.
21:49Stay warm.
21:50So how did you end up doing this?
21:5317 years ago, something like that I started.
21:55So I was a teacher before that.
21:57Were you?
21:57Yeah.
21:58So I went back to uni when I was 25 and then retrained and then just did all my work experience in TV, film and theatre.
22:08Yeah.
22:08And slowly kind of worked my way in.
22:10You know, we got to do quick sewing jobs, you know, so a quick kind of alteration.
22:14Kind of having a broad range of, you know, spectrum of skills, I think is really...
22:18And people skills.
22:19Yeah, yeah, yeah.
22:20Reading the room, you know, kind of keeping people calm as well.
22:24I'm known as Mama Mish.
22:25I was going to say, you're basically your onset therapist, aren't you, Mish?
22:27I know.
22:28Basically.
22:29So do you not hover until they're back ready to go again and you take it away?
22:32Yes.
22:33So I, um...
22:34So we're hovering?
22:35We're hovering.
22:36So, we are moving on to set up to everyone.
22:39Director Alex calls for the next set up and that's my call to action.
22:43Sorry, I know it's cold.
22:45Right, take this from the world.
22:47Sorry.
22:48Come on.
22:48You're a professional, you've got this, you can do it.
22:52I don't have to agree.
22:53That's right, she's doing, you know, on it, on it.
22:55She wasn't even there.
22:56So there we are, she, well, thank you very much for showing me the ropes.
23:00Pleasure.
23:02Feedback?
23:03You're very good, very attentive.
23:05Yeah, good.
23:06You can join our team.
23:07It's a win-win.
23:09That's the best feedback I've had.
23:12This is great.
23:13We'll get you sewing next.
23:14Oh, yeah.
23:15Yeah.
23:16Yeah, actually.
23:16We'll do some sewing jobs next time.
23:18I don't know if I've got my calluses aren't ready yet.
23:21Have we got thimbles?
23:21Okay, it's fine.
23:26In an episode full of landmark moments, let's have one more, shall we?
23:32The last scene that Schutti got one shot as the 15th Doctor.
23:39At last!
23:41It's now officially May the 24th, the day we thought would never arrive.
23:47Congratulations.
23:47With everyone who is anyone here to witness Schutti's last scene, I want to get a word on the man himself from those who know him best.
23:57It's amazing to look back and think what Schutti's brought to the Doctor.
24:00And I think famously, he is a more emotional Doctor than we've ever seen before.
24:05I mean, it's not an emotion you can't name.
24:06That's the glorious thing about he's been angry.
24:10He's been funny.
24:12You're Scooby-Doo.
24:13Honey, I'm Velma.
24:15He's been joyous.
24:16He's been lonely.
24:17He's been brave.
24:18He's been optimistic.
24:19He's been sad.
24:21Name an emotion the man hasn't put into this.
24:24It's just Doctor Who played to 100%.
24:26I think he has a flair, a natural flair for being this kind of otherworldly being.
24:34He is inherently such a special person and I think he really brings that sparkle to the Doctor.
24:41And she's toasting a pumpkin last thing.
24:44Schutti is unique and I've loved every second of working with him.
24:52I think he is pure magic.
24:55He's a star.
24:59I'm the Doctor.
25:02Obviously, when you come to an end of something, you like to look back on favourite moments.
25:06Is there a standout piece of 15 that you love?
25:09Oh, it's hard.
25:10I mean, I want to wheel 18 episodes in front of you and show them all.
25:13I think the ending of Fine Time, the ending of Dot and Bubble, is the most in it, which is day one for him.
25:25Which is the most extraordinary performance I've ever seen on camera from anyone.
25:32But actually, do you know what?
25:32I'm going to choose a really unexpected moment.
25:34I'm going to choose the end of the Interstellar Song Contest, where they're standing in the corridor and Belinda tells him he's wonderful.
25:40And I think this is Schutti at his absolute best.
25:43You're wonderful.
25:45Did we look at his face in that moment?
25:47He's kind of wary.
25:48He's in love with her.
25:50He's impressed.
25:51He's lofty.
25:52He's a bit aloof, like she's an ant.
25:54He's intimate, like she's the most important.
25:56It's just look at his face.
25:58All he does is smile at her, look a bit puzzled and happy and hugs her.
26:02And moments like that, that's just true brilliance in that moment.
26:06I don't know what he's thinking in that moment.
26:08And that's very rare.
26:12Listen up.
26:14It's my honour and privilege to do this.
26:18We've been on part of a journey, you and I, since summer 2022, where we put you in a shirt and pad.
26:24And we put you on the helipad.
26:26Thank you for all your hard work on this series.
26:30You are a magnificent doctor.
26:42You're now part of a really special family.
26:45So as annoying as we are, we're always here.
26:48And there's always a seat on the TARDIS for you.
26:54She's get while you are at.
26:56He's been an incredible doctor, and he's an incredible person, an incredible actor.
27:08We love you, shooting.
27:13He's just brilliant at everything.
27:15And it just feels very special that I got to be here for his entire role.
27:21He's taken it and blown something so very special and so of himself into it.
27:29I love him.
27:30I think there's going to be a lot of people that are really sad.
27:35It's a closing of a chapter, and I think he's going to be treasured forever because he's spectacular.
27:43Everyone here is amazing.
27:46I'm terrible with words, but the crew here really are like the petrol to this place.
27:56And thank you so much for the past two years.
27:58This place is filled with so much love and hard work.
28:02And the hard work that goes into creating these incredible scripts every day is exceptional.
28:09Thanks for the two companions.
28:11There are no words.
28:15There are no words.
28:15I have no words for this experience, but just thank you.
28:22Thank you, everyone.
28:24Come here, come here.
28:31Come on, everyone.
28:34Aja, we'll finish you in one second.
28:39I love you.
