00:00When we reached the last night at Wembley Stadium in London,
00:05all of us felt such satisfaction.
00:10We've had so many special moments where just like,
00:13it just reminds me what a concert can do
00:17if you give it your all.
00:22Then again, no matter how good a tour is,
00:25it's a huge massive undertaking.
00:28It's hard work.
00:30That's the challenge, that's the adventure,
00:33and that's what every person on this tour is doing.
00:41Every single night, no matter what's going on,
00:45we're gonna do everything in our power to blow your mind.
00:58You're coming from an秋-신ant,
01:00you're coming from that first tour.
01:02I'm very worried that this night will be nearby now.
01:07This出if and the disco 즉 Velez
01:10will probably him tell us who it is,
01:12that you didn't get to know.
01:13My goal for the Errors tour is that I didn't want the fans
01:15to leave thinking that they missed out on anything.
01:17One thing I've always tried to do is like,
01:22give something to the fans that they didn't expect.
01:24we had done the first half of the tour what the fans didn't know at the time was that i was writing
01:29a brand new album the torture poets department and in the middle of me releasing the album
01:35we had to be all hands on deck creating a brand new era to put into the show to represent that
01:40album doing all of this completely secretly all in like a tiny little
01:53break that we had between asia and europe are there sounds from fortnight that are not the
01:59synth sound or do we go into like strings like this feels like a highly elevated chapter we build
02:09this top secret rehearsal facility for us to lock in the set list go who's afraid a little bit of down
02:17bad probably a verse and a chorus or a pre-chorus and a chorus and that might be it like i would
02:24kind of do surgical tweakings to each song be like okay these songs but cut out the bridge and the
02:29second verse of this and then so tell me everything is not about me and then to make it so that we
02:39could fit this many songs in the show bam and say they didn't do it to hurt me everyone in and i want
02:49and and double as big for i want a snarling i'm gonna have a mental breakdown during this song like
02:54it's gonna be so fun and then we put together all new choreography learning choreography all just hearing
03:04it in our heads because they can't play the music on speakers because it's not out yet the first line
03:09is did you really beam me up what i want is for a light to spot like right on me like it's the alien
03:18ship right into this like crazy like alien light and then down that way yeah there's an entirely new
03:31order of the chapters so i'm relearning the entire show essentially it feels crazy to like take all
03:38the pieces apart and then put them together in different order yeah and i think i'd rather feel
03:43this way where i'm a little bit confused a little bit like what what uh than being like on autopilot
03:51yeah because i could do the show we were doing in asia i could do with my yeah at first we're all
03:54like we all fear change but then we're like yeah we got this yeah but we're here we got here because
03:59we accepted challenges our whole lives oh my god that was a risk that could have gone so bad
04:05there was the danger that we it could have felt like we had sort of shoehorned something in
04:09or that you know people didn't like the new show as much as they like the old show i swear to god if
04:14i heard people online being like i missed the old show i was gonna be like oh my god you have no
04:19idea how hard this was to do we're gonna get to watch 45 000 people experience the fact that they're
04:26seeing something that's never been seen before i went out to play our first show of the new set
04:33in paris the crowd has no idea that we've added a completely new section and rearranged things and
04:39and i am so so excited i love having a good secret when we brought out this new show in paris it was so
04:48rewarding because all of that secrecy and all of that working during our only time off paid off so
04:57much because the fans were so excited it was such a dynamic new addition to the show
05:05now going into the last show in london i have the opportunity to add to their experience even on top of
05:13that taylor wants to make the last london show as powerful as possible she's like i want to blow this
05:21thing out we're going to do this right she wants to do florida with florence welch florence the machine
05:28performing florida with florence is something i've wanted to do ever since the two of us wrote that
05:33song and then it just so happened that she was going to be available in london you're not nervous about
05:38the show you know you know how it runs and suddenly something like florence coming to do florida the
05:45choreography meets the music meets automation which is the stage movement and is uh starting from
05:53scratch again i know that when i say to them i want to perform florida with florence and i really want
05:57to do it with full production i know that it's some kind of creative brainstorming sessions but i know
06:03it's doable because all the dancers the choreographers the production designers the crew the entire
06:09band every person we have is the best one doing it in the entire industry this is kind of funny uh
06:26we have to rehearse the song we kind of do what we usually do in the comfort of a studio from the
06:35road but also trying to keep things from leaking before the surprise it's a stadium with no roof so
06:41there's like fans outside and say you have to turn the pa off and we have to do it quietly you know
06:46it is so much extra work to keep things a surprise let me tell you i i need a nap just thinking about
06:59it but it's so worth it when it when we can actually pull it off your programming sounds at soundcheck the
07:06dancers are finding a place to work on choreography for it where people can't find out what's happening
07:12you know before you know it i'm in a random ballroom in the middle of the hotel with amanda at like
07:179 30 at night maybe then maybe you come off there florence open up on the into the diagonals maybe yeah
07:29with choreography i asked one of my friends emma stone who's done a lot of work in dance in her films
07:36you know who have you worked with that you would recommend for this and she's like there's only one
07:40person that needs to be on your list and it's mandy moore i never would have thought that i would
07:45be in the same sentence as taylor swift ever in my life you know i've always been a big fan but i
07:50funny enough i come from really more film and television i don't really do artist performance
07:56now i understand why i was brought in because she really wanted to do something different and
08:00she likes the storytelling i mean her songs are mini movies so when i listen to them it's just
08:07lyrics and melody swirling with ideas in my head and then you just start making something yeah is
08:13there something about that like that yeah and then all of a sudden it comes out
08:22yeah do you want to do seven beautiful gorgeous man love like one two amanda balen the first time
08:31that i saw her do her thing here we go she was choreographing the tour she was not a dancer
08:37her job was to show me what i'd be doing with the dancers
08:45i would just get so much inspiration from what she was doing as a performer
08:49i just kept saying like you're such a pop star amanda
08:52this was my dream truly it was my dream to do live shows and tour like this more so than broadway
09:02or anything i just i always was drawn to this i actually haven't looked at these i just keep
09:08throwing them in i started out by doing small things and then i booked a job as a swing for a janet
09:16jackson tour which was oh i'd always wanted to dance for her i went on to tour with celine dion
09:23what else have i done oh oh i danced for lady gaga for five plus years i toured for five years straight
09:30i worked on glee which was a long-standing dancing tv show for a while that was a wonderful job i went on
09:35to do some films like la la land i've performed at probably every major award show with different
09:42artists and i've been a part of many tours as much as you want it to last forever dance isn't a forever
09:53career the demand on your body is not sustainable we can get this strong when you do all those
09:59you know wild movements then this can stabilize your spine helping i have two labral tears in my
10:05hip flexors like things were just breaking down i kind of just decided it was a very tough decision
10:12but to gracefully start to peel myself away from being a professional dancer and to do things
10:19behind the scenes i remembered asking mandy i wonder if amanda would ever dance with us and
10:28mandy was like ah she's she's retired she hung up her dancing shoes a while ago at some point mandy
10:35came to me and said hey the team wants to know if you want to do the show my first response to being
10:40asked to the tour was a chuckle and oh hell no i don't even know if i could do it being involved
10:46in the behind the scenes and then doing it on stage those are two different things i had doubts in my
10:52ability i was worried that i wasn't going to be as good as i was when i was dancing but at the end of
10:59the day even though there was a lot of fear it was just too wonderful of an opportunity a second chance
11:06i get chills it was a second chance that most people don't get to have
11:15we're counting this song in fast state so it'll be a one two three four five six seven eight oh one
11:21two three four five seven eight she says um and a five two three four on five it's the word weed and
11:29you guys are going to kind of do like a little bit of a deflate and my friends all smell like weed
11:34yeah yeah weed or little babies and you'll roll up uh-huh and on the five of the fifth and my friends
11:43all smell like weed or little one two three four five six seven eight okay just so you have an idea and then
11:51guys wet loose hey dewey amanda and i were in like an empty ballroom last night just like okay it's
12:03just gonna like idiots you just see amanda and i as you can imagine it's the normal okay florida
12:09i want gang gang gang gang it's a hell of a drug it is always weird i think with choreography because it
12:17is true it's like literally a week ago this thing didn't exist and my friends all smell like weed
12:22okay so with the exact oh do you want to do this just roughly but oh great i was like why do they
12:27all just do this and then like the dancers become the accessories to taylor and to the stage and to
12:35the whole experience so it's a really important thing and i take it very seriously you know i always
12:41get nervous when i'm showing taylor something for the first time because i i ultimately i just
12:47want to do well you know like i want to make her happy because i just you know so much respect for
12:52her i love her i mean i was really terrified the first time i had to show her something
12:58we can figure this out together
13:02but luckily you know since the very early stages of this her and i have a really nice communication
13:07a little witchy something in here together we'll figure this out actually i'm going to need to travel
13:12back to a stage during this part okay taylor can give me thoughts or colors or ideas and i think
13:18i'm able to understand what she wants visually i want to kind of channel like uh rights of spring
13:23florence machine like like like it's taking our body yeah like like fully like like reaching you know
13:31like love it like kind of like um like girl in an insane asylum slash wood nymph love it yeah
13:38so i mean yes wasn't nervous i'm always nervous i'm always sweating i'm like oh god did i make
13:43the right thing is this bad choices hello how are you really good how are you doing good all right
13:50i'm doing a watch one i would think kind of see i'll do uh for instance uh we're just doing the speaker
13:55right here yeah i love it yeah hey guys ready to move yes okay go for 43.06 one two three
14:03oh i love that go and the city reeks of driving myself
14:25oh my god
14:50and then feel like you guys can play here
15:09and then yeah we made this like wave wow could it be kind of cool huh cool i hate that it's happening
15:16without us there you could do it earlier if you want just didn't know if it was whoa so epic
15:24back there and no one's gonna look at it no no because they're gonna be looking at you and i almost
15:29wish that me and florence could be on that i mean that would be amazing and she's up for it yeah i'm
15:36worried if if me and florence are here there's people aren't gonna look at it and i and that
15:41bothers me and also i think florence is like gonna be really she's totally down for for like
15:46being in the mix and doing cool stuff and i did my best like in there to rest all of the bodies and
15:52if i'm playing my body and my mind they sink into the swamp oh it'd be awesome if it goes down
16:00is that a bad thing to say in the song then it rises did you know and totally right then it all
16:07rises at the same time and it's awesome and everyone sees it good okay let's run one more
16:14time and now that i've had this chat with taylor then i can fix all we have all the elements i just
16:19now sort of need to rework them okay good job guys great job a lot of the time when you are casting for
16:25a tour um you know choreographers will sometimes have it in their head that uh they want a specific
16:34body type they want a specific look they want only women they want only men it's it they people can get
16:40very opinionated about um things looking very uniform that's not what i wanted to do with the errors tour
16:47i feel like when you look up on stage as a fan if you see people that represent you your friends
16:53the people you see in the world that's i think much more emotional and more connective and powerful
17:01i really wanted everyone to look up on that stage and think i see myself in that person
17:08spaces like the space that taylor is curating on a day on a night-to-night basis i wish we had more of
17:16that right even outside of entertaining it's so important to be seen to be heard to be understood
17:29my background as a dancer i had a lot of teachers and professors who were not so kind mostly around
17:37my size and and if i wanted to be a professional dancer i would need to lose weight i remember doing
17:43an audition and the director of the company said to me okay so what are we going to do about your body
17:49in life some people are going to try to tear you down they want you to do something else other than
17:55the thing that you are in love with and then there are kind people who ground you and in my experience
18:03that's my mom and my brother it's important to know i came from a family with an excess of love right my
18:12mother sacrificed a lot for my brother and i to just have experiences and so my brother he fell
18:22in love with sports i fell in love with dance and we were sort of navigating our training
18:28at the same time middle school high school college and it has been
18:33the joy of my life to watch him thrive in something that he loves so so much
18:42now he plays in the nfl and i watched my brother go to the super bowl three times
18:48i graduated college and thought i was going to be teaching dance for the rest of my life
18:53and i remember getting a email that said there's a closed audition we cannot disclose who the artist is
19:00but it's being choreographed by mandy moore i didn't have like a dollar to my name at the time
19:06and i called my brother i was like listen i don't know what this is but something
19:16is telling me that i have to be in this room he was like okay we will make it happen and he bought me a flight
19:30in this room when he came into the audition i was just like he's magnetic i mean he's a great dancer
19:36his smile is like the thousand watt smile you know he's really well trained he just embodies what i
19:43felt was like the spirit of what these people need to be cam is someone who absolutely lights up
19:50not only the stage but just our entire vibe as a tour he's just so himself
19:56i don't want dancers that blend in i don't care about them pulling focus i want them to pull focus
20:02i want you to feel like you saw an entire crew of individual stars on the stage
20:11now knowing that spaces like this do exist for me that allow me to be the fullest
20:20version of me with with all i have to offer in this body as it exists right now this feels like my super
20:31bowl
20:38well i didn't see if i didn't leave my hotel room
20:43woke up with a cat on my head
20:49morning hi
20:54bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with the heiress tour is really important
21:06to me because people who work on the road if the tour grosses more they get more of a bonus and these
21:12people just work so hard and they are the best at what they do so every single person on the crew
21:19i've handwritten them a note it took me a couple weeks but it's fun to write the notes it's like
21:24fun to to think about everybody's lives that they're going to go back to and the time off they're going
21:29to have and the you know the kids they haven't seen because they've been away from months and
21:34it just making that worthwhile for them is like really it just it feels like christmas morning when
21:40you finally get to say thank you
21:45bonus day okay so each so each one is in its own bag and i was thinking we can lay them out
21:53oh let me see the wax seal you wax sealed every one of these things yeah
22:00and i got in the fire department almost had to come
22:04i want to show you this taylor six of the audio guys got this tattoo it says cruel summer 152
22:10shows oh my god and then i don't know crazy i don't know if you remember but on reputation
22:17why is it a grim reaper i have no idea they have to keep it like scary they can't like have like
22:24a tattoo of like a butterfly and a kitty cat i think what that means is 152 dates almost killed them
22:30but they made it oh my god that is exactly what it is that's what it means the reality of it jesus yeah
22:35i'll go behind you guys get rid of the bags get rid of the bags
22:55everybody has the same message on their card so i was hoping you could open it but before before you
23:00look at yours i just wanted to say guys this this leg of this tour has been harder than anything i've
23:08ever done in a live setting and you guys have taken this on with such excitement and such curiosity and
23:14such the endurance you've shown um but the spirit you've shown how much you've given to these crowds
23:20that gives to me every single night the tour has done really well thanks to all of our hard work so if
23:26you will kindly read this message taylor swift okay oh there's cam we've traveled the world like we set
23:41out to do we've dazzled the crowds but we've missed family too my full gratitude doesn't come from a thing
23:48but here's
23:54all this just to say things love taylor
23:57my father was the one that presented the checks to our drivers
24:15and he presented handwritten letters from taylor it's incredible i know tour truck drivers
24:21and i've asked do artists usually give out these big bonuses unheard of
24:28what's wrong max he's emotional oh my god do you need a hug are you okay i'm gonna pass out
24:45the first walks uh you know it felt nice if you were going to slow first and then you round the
25:02corner everybody's got their things they're good at uh it's taken me a really long time to be even
25:10fine at choreography mandy knows how to approach teaching me choreography from a lyrical perspective
25:19what were you doing this these little steps yeah they're just steps um yeah so just starting with
25:23your uh did you think oh yeah homes really on the town you'll get arrested i don't do eight counts i
25:32learn based on what syllable of the lyric i'm attaching a movement to and i can't really learn
25:38any other way i've tried texas florida should be yeah i didn't know if it should be like
25:44sing it then throw to them or sing florida there you go that's what i thought yeah yeah
25:51to get out there and learn the choreography in 30 minutes and remember to hit this spot hit this
25:57mark this dancer's gonna come over and stand next to me for this moment in front of 90 000 people
26:03like my brain would explode it's an absolute challenge not to mention the whole time she's
26:13doing this she's singing and doing all these things at the same time so it's a lot like juggling for three
26:19and a half hours learning the choreography it's not just doing a step for the sake of doing a step it's
26:26all very visual and it makes sense to me narratively it also is interesting to be in a position where
26:34like you know this is a team of experts and there's something about that that keeps me on my game and
26:41focused and locked in it's one of the elements of like where that kind of pressure is a privilege because
26:46they're not messing up so it better not be me um okay so uh i feel good okay is it okay if i yeah
26:57because we're gonna put points in tomorrow so we'll have you with this okay perfect perfect we're happy
27:01if you i love it i love it i love it i think it's gonna be so special beautiful job guys beautiful job
27:07thanks for the song hey you know yeah so you guys rock it's my only job
27:16i'm excited about seeing the show again yeah the driver asked me oh is this your first time to the
27:22show i was like uh no no yeah i don't you know my knee is doing better and i don't really want to be
27:30in the wheelchair i needed a little bit but to get you there yeah but i want to dance tell them i'm
27:37gonna tell them because i feel like a hypocrite if i'm sitting in the wheelchair section and i start
27:41popping off you know i think they'll come and take the wheel you're gonna start what popping off and
27:46is that the move something like that sometimes it's a shimmy uh-huh sometimes it's a roll and when does that
27:54window it is i have so many and a lot of times it's you guys it's choreography too like
28:01it's this way so i think that that i do that for shake it off yeah shake it off shake it
28:09i do that move too oh are you ready for it that that's my song i love that one this experience has
28:21been really amazing for me it's okay
28:36i've watched you make so many sacrifices
28:43it's okay
28:43so many for us to be able to do what we're doing and to um follow those dreams with every
28:57part of us yeah and
29:03i am grateful that you're here to see it
29:06it's yeah because colin and i being able to do what we love to do in such grand spaces um it's product
29:18of how you love us and do so i'm i'm i'm grateful that you're able to um see pro the the fruits of your
29:33labor in this way and i will never not have you in these spaces with me and in celebrating with me
29:43because just as hard as i've worked i'm very clear and very conscious of how hard you've worked for us
29:52to be able to do so which is why i try my hardest to take so much care of you i know i know i love you
30:03it's gonna be a good show i know you're gonna enjoy it i'm gonna dance i know
30:12oh yay
30:16you're here you made it
30:18hi hi i'm mandy oh my gosh what an honor hi hi hi i saw the show and it was so amazing
30:33this is gonna be amazing
30:36this is so big no it is it is and it's also it's like a lot of ground to cover here so we're gonna
30:42show you and then like the choreography is like we do something and they and it affects them like
30:47well we're just like florida but and they're like um i have performed on big stages but this is not
30:53like i thought i just show up and i run around like because that's what i do at my own shows i just show
30:59up and i run like i just run around you're gonna come up on that back lift but you'll see it and
31:05i have never done a lift you haven't oh they're so fun you're gonna have so much fun when i got
31:11there and i was like okay now this is your choreo i was like oh no no wait wait you want me confused
31:15i don't do this i'm gonna this up
31:20jenny one two three you split
31:27i got drunk and i dared to wash me away barricaded in the bathroom with a bottle of wine
31:33well me and my ghost we had a hell of a time yes i'm haunted but i'm feeling just fine
31:39all my girls got their laces and their crimes and what you told me this
31:45no one asks any questions great okay great so now this is karen and and that and tamia's behind
31:54you and roth here so you guys are nice and safe this is going to start rising up on so i did my best
31:59to rest okay great and she's going to lay down or she's going to kind of come into if you're okay
32:03with this and she's just going to lay her head here and it'd be great if you wanted to connect to
32:07her head on like some things and do my best to lay to rest all of the bodies that have ever been on
32:11my body so it kind of makes sense good all of the bodies that have been on my body and in my mind
32:20they sink into the swamp beautiful no sorry on is that is that a bad thing to say sorry about that
32:28yeah so sink into the swamp you're still down yes yes sink into the swamp song up
32:35i've got it okay good now good so you pack your life away it's a way that should start back in
32:43tessas florida beautiful one hell of a draw center do it again florida
32:53then i use what a treat we're similar in that the persona is huge but the person is soft and so i think
33:01that's why we get along externally the thing is really big but like when we're together we're
33:08just like silly and goofy seeing the show the most beautiful thing was the crowd i like it was just
33:18like the love and the vibe yeah i could i was just like this all the pockets of like girls in their
33:24dresses like dancing i was like there's so much joy and like amazing and like like femininity that's
33:31not there's no shame around it no it was so yeah natalie and odi are standing right here so you just
33:38head to the back two girls and then you're gonna have your footprints right there and you just gotta go
33:43in the middle and i think turn back front yeah and then we'll take you down and then dewey will be
