00:00I was screaming, I was crying. When they touched me, it felt like they were ripping my leg off.
00:03For the past couple of days, I've been feeling extremely bad.
00:07I had two seizures tonight. I had a really bad muscle flare-up.
00:12I don't know, it's never been that bad ever in my life.
00:14I don't remember screaming, kicking, and crying like that since I was a kid.
00:19I was born with muscular dystrophy. It affects all of my muscles.
00:22I was in a wheelchair before. I had leg braces. I had back braces because it caused me to have scoliosis.
00:28They put dirty screws in my bag.
00:29But then she found out something about her recent treatment that changed everything.
00:34So today I found out that the reason why my muscular dystrophy is progressing faster than usual
00:42is because doctors have been giving me muscle relaxers.
00:47As a patient with muscular dystrophy, I'm not supposed to have them at all.
00:52Like, at all. Not even sometimes, not even one day.
00:56Like, I'm not supposed to have them at all.
00:59Ugh, I'm aggravated. I'm trying not to cry.
01:02This mistake has set her health back so far that she now has to be admitted to a rehabilitation facility
01:08to build back her strength.
01:09I gotta have a walker now. Gotta have a wheelchair again.
01:14It's gonna take a while for me to get back right.
01:16But I can't have muscle relaxers at all.
01:20So I'm just pissed off right now.
01:21She gets moved to another hospital to fix the doctor's mistake.
01:25Y'all, this is the room at the new hospital.
01:30I just finished my first day of therapy.
01:33It was extremely painful.
01:36A thousand out of ten.
01:38But I'm glad that I got my brother with me.
01:40I just finished my first two sessions of therapy today.
01:44I've got two more to go today.
01:46My arms hurt and they feel like noodles.
01:50By the time I get out of here, I'm gonna be built like a kangaroo instead of a seahorse.
01:56Just sit outside until my next therapy session.
01:59Grandma coming through, baby. Grandma coming through.
02:02Watch out.
02:03Watch out. Grandma coming through, baby.
02:06All this a***** back there. Grandma coming through, baby.
02:10Hello, everybody.
02:12I passed all of my assessments.
02:15And I officially get to go home tomorrow.
02:19After a challenging few weeks, she finally reaches the moment she's been waiting for.
02:24Calm down from ten.

02:42I'm free, mother f*****s.
02:44I don't feel good, though.
02:46I'm gonna go home and take my meds and lay down.
02:50I'm laying on my cousin-in-law because I'm uncomfortable, so I have to lay down.
02:55Always remember, life will f***** you.
02:58But as long as you f***** back, you'll be all right.
