00:21even changed some lives the aerostore has danced through sold-out stadiums in 50 cities on five
00:28continents the highest grossing tour of all time stretching 633 days and rocketing Swift from
00:40megastar to cultural phenomenon it is the end of an era if you can believe it Taylor Swift will
00:48end her record-shattering eras tour this weekend we are just one day away from Taylor Swift kicking
00:56off her final eras tour shows are you ready for it
01:26three left that's it I don't know how I'm gonna feel but I also really don't know how other people are
01:52gonna feel but they're gonna need me to respond in a way that supports however it is that they feel
01:57at any given moment so I'm just sort of bracing myself for how do you feel I feel so proud but
02:10so ready like so ready for this this is the perfect ending
02:14this show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once and I don't know how that
02:28happened there are times where you make something so cool and you know it's cool and you're really proud
02:43of it but you're flying into the wind and you're just always up against some friction then there's
02:50times these very rare instances where you make something and the wind is at your back somehow culture
02:56and timing and whatever mood there is out in the world about you that you can't control all lines
03:03and then you can't control all lines up for this to go well
03:05I like shining but I marry you with paper rings
03:10Oh, that's right
03:11Oh, that's right
03:11Oh, that's right
03:16Okay
03:17Oh, that's right
03:21Oh, that's right
03:25Oh, that's right
03:29So many unbelievable memories in this tour but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time
03:40being memorized, mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn't even know me
03:45I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri
03:53That night too in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life
03:57Oh my god
04:07There's so much for no emotions on the last three shows, huh?
04:13Oh
04:13Less than cozy
04:17Honestly, it looks the same
04:20But guess what?
04:20It looks, three more
04:22Three more, dude
04:23Three more
04:23That's it, your hair looks phenomenal
04:25Oh, thank you, ma'am
04:26Yeah, really love it
04:27I think, I just feel like I'm just preparing for tears in a way that's making me feel confused
04:33I totally agree
04:34Do you know what I mean?
04:35Like, I'm prepared for happy tears and gratitude
04:37but I'm like, this is not supposed to bring anyone sadness
04:40No
04:41Even though it's never going to happen again
04:44Like, that
04:45So I guess it is sad
04:47I'm getting weird jitters
04:49They're weird, they're strange
04:51I
04:51Because there's an end inside
04:54Change, it kind of messes with people
04:57This is one that you requested, this mashup
05:02Tonight?
05:04Yeah, I think so
05:05Oh, now I'm going to cry again
05:08Little hands wrapped around my finger
05:11And it's so quiet in the world
05:14Ah, sorry, the key needs to be higher
05:15So quiet in the world tonight
05:18Little eyelids fluttered cause you're dreaming
05:22So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night
05:26Like, to you, everything's funny
05:30You got nothing to regret
05:35Give all I have, honey
05:39Just try to never grow up
05:44I'm five years old
05:57It's getting cold
05:59I've got my big coat on
06:02I hear your laugh
06:05And look up smiling at you
06:08I can't do this, dude
06:09I can't fucking do it either, dude
06:11I'm going to record that
06:19And just talk it through
06:21Hi, buddy
06:22Hi
06:23Oh my God
06:25I'm just going to talk it through
06:26Cause I don't want to do that again
06:27I know, it's the brother and the dad
06:29Are standing in the background
06:30That's a very upsetting situation
06:32What are you doing, man?
06:34Oh, that's tough
06:35That's cool
06:36Yikes, man
06:37I have an excellent father
06:49His strength is making me stronger
06:53God smiles on my little brother
06:57Inside and out
06:58He's better than I am
07:01I grew up in a pretty house
07:06And I had space to run
07:09And I had the best days with you
07:16Take pictures in your mind
07:20Of your childhood room
07:23Memorize what it sounded like
07:29When your dad gets home
07:32Remember the footsteps
07:35Remember the words said
07:37And all your little brother's favorite songs
07:41I had the best day
07:46With you
07:47Today
07:49So that's the piano one
07:57Those tickets should come for the warning
07:58It really should
08:00They should just be printed on tissues
08:02That's ridiculous
08:03Oh my God
08:05That was amazing
08:07Thanks, Dad
08:08Holy mackerel
08:09All right
08:16Oh my God
08:17We're here
08:18One word to describe the air
08:21Is to her magical
08:22I might not have one
08:25But maybe a few
08:26It would be remarkable
08:28And phenomenal
08:31It's just joyous
08:33It's just like a celebration
08:34Of all that's happy in the world
08:36This is an unprecedented big
08:39I don't
08:40You know
08:41Indescribable
08:42Everything that we've experienced
08:45It'll live forever
08:47In my mind
08:47In my heart
08:48In my physical body
08:49Forever
08:50Forever
08:51When I'm going to miss most
08:56Family
09:00The family dynamic
09:03Is like genuinely
09:04Like something I've never
09:06I don't know
09:08I've completely changed
09:10And grown
09:11Just being around
09:12So many positive examples
09:14I feel like I have lifelong connections
09:18With everyone
09:18I didn't expect
09:20To get close
09:22With this many people
09:23There's not a person
09:24That you won't get along with it
09:26And there's not a person
09:27That you can't be alone with
09:28And still have the best time
09:30I have the most supportive team
09:31I could ever have
09:33You can't really ask for much more
09:34This was an amazing group of dancers
09:38And the chemistry
09:38With the band
09:39And we were all very aware
09:41Of the magic
09:42That this tour
09:43Was able to capture
09:44I'm going to miss going on stage
09:47Every night
09:48With this band
09:49That I've known for 15 years
09:51Being able to be up there
09:53With this group of people
09:54Spreading all this joy
09:56And positivity
09:56It is a joy fest
09:58And I'm here for it
09:59We're so proud to be here
10:01To be working with Taylor
10:02To be working with each other
10:03We are in this together
10:05That's what she said to us
10:07On that first day
10:08Just shaking hands
10:09And saying
10:09Hi I'm Taylor
10:10She is like a legend
10:11This tour
10:12This boss
10:13Has like made us feel
10:15Seen, worthy
10:16And like
10:17Treated with the utmost respect
10:19It's nice to have a friend
10:22Oh
10:23Oh
10:37Oh
10:38Oh
10:38Oh
10:39Oh
10:40Oh
10:41No way
10:42Stop
10:43I remember my first show
11:01And Taylor said to me
11:04Jan, you're going to be the first one
11:06Who's going to open
11:07Just be ready for that
11:09I'm waiting
11:12And all you can see
11:14It's the doors going up
11:15I'm like still confident
11:20Walking forward
11:21And when I open
11:24And people were screaming
11:29And all you can see
11:30Is just slides
11:31It's like
11:32I can't even describe it
11:34I know that I was
11:36Holding my tears
11:37The first time
11:38I
11:39Never felt this energy before
11:44And it's weird to say
11:46And I know that
11:46After every job
11:48When you're done
11:48You're saying
11:49Oh
11:49That was the one
11:50That was the one
11:51But I think
11:52This one is the one
11:54I don't know that I'm going to be the first show
11:56I don't know that I'm going to be the first show
11:57Okay
12:00You guys
12:03This is our last first show
12:05Of the weekend
12:06For me
12:08This is our victory lap
12:09Yeah
12:09We did the hard shit
12:11The scary things
12:12The ups
12:13The downs
12:13We did all that
12:14I couldn't be happier
12:17To get to play
12:18This last first night
12:19With you
12:20It's probably the happiest
12:20I've ever been on a first night
12:22Yeah
12:22Okay
12:23Because it's the last one
12:24Oh god
12:27Here we go
12:28One first thing
12:29Deep breath
12:29Everybody
12:30Because I know we're all
12:31Feeling a little buzzy
12:32So in
12:32And out
12:36Okay
12:40I was
12:42You know
12:43Thinking about
12:43Change
12:44And we have a big one coming up
12:46Which is the end of this
12:47But
12:48When I think about
12:49What change means
12:50That's what eras are
12:52Eras are
12:53Evolutions
12:54And
12:55They are meant to come
12:57To an end in some ways
12:58But this will always have been
12:59Our eras era
13:01I'm just so proud of you guys
13:03And I can't believe
13:03That we've done it
13:04It's just so
13:05Amazing
13:06I love you guys
13:06Look at God
13:07Woo
13:08Woo
13:10Woo
13:11Woo
13:12Woo
13:13Woo
13:13So let's go out there
13:14And
13:14Fuck shit up
13:16Fuck it up
13:16Up
13:17Up
13:17Up
13:18Up
13:18Up
13:19Up
13:19Up
13:21This tour will live on as probably the pinnacle foremost important thing that I've done.
13:50I get very depressed about pop culture's obsession with youth culture, and we designate extremely young people to be the ones who have to tell us where culture is going.
14:02And then the idea that an artist had, in my case, the privilege of developing to the point where you're in your 30s and you do know yourself a bit more, and then you were able to make the thing that they'll know you for.
14:16There's something very special about that.
14:20This was a seismic, momentous period of time in my life, and in the lives of the performers and the crew members and anyone who this tour touched.
14:39And it's never going to happen again this way.
14:42I think for most of us, this is bigger than we ever thought it would be.
15:05When I went through treatment and I was away from it, I would play the show all the time.
15:11I would watch it on TV, and I'd sing along and remember the good feels that I felt when I was there.
15:18It's more than just a job, it's more than just a show, it's what we are, and just the joy and the magic that happens in that space, it's just magical.
15:30I think it's just such a beautiful blessing that we all get to do, and yeah, I never wanted to end.
15:39You and Gracie are going to do another duet, because we just can't stop.
15:56Hi!
15:58How are you doing?
15:58I'm really good.
15:59Do you want to do your bridge again?
16:21Sure.
16:22Right?
16:22Sure.
16:23Do you want to, will it be too much to...
16:25I like doing the harmony on the bridge.
16:27Okay, perfect.
16:27Okay.
16:27But that's just the way...
16:29And both on.
16:30How crazy is that?
16:31I never planned on you changing your life, but that's just the way life goes.
16:34That's what gave me the full, like, full chills.
16:37Joy riding down our road, lay on the horn to prove that it haunts me.
16:41I love you, I'm sorry, then you do the harmony.
16:43You were the best, but you were the worst.
16:45As sick as it sounds, I loved you first.
16:48I was a dick, it is what it is.
16:49I happened to kick the angel curse.
16:52Wrong again.
16:54I'll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep.
17:02And I'll feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe.
17:10And I'll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are.
17:19Yeah, just like, I hope it's nice where you are.
17:23And I'll leave that for you.
17:24I love you, I'm sorry.
17:30I'm in a full body sweat, this is disgusting.
17:32I know, I know, I know.
17:32I feel it's really, it's so disgusting out of my shirt.
17:36I'm so excited.
17:37This is better than any of the ones that we've done.
17:39That's why our bodies are reacting this way.
17:41They're completely, they're completely just like, guys, we saved the best for last.
17:48Oh my God.
17:49I know it's gross to hug it at this point, but it's going to be so fun.
17:53The light and the joy that she has provided.
17:58There's just been nothing like this cultural phenomenon in a tour ever.
18:03It's like, changed people's lives.
18:06The people who came to these shows wanted to have a good experience and wanted others
18:14to have a good experience too.
18:16There's something very pure about that.
18:20Those fans, seeing them get dressed the way that they do, seeing them make the effort to
18:28commune with each other, to help each other.
18:31It is that sense of truly connecting with each other.
18:36I think that's the thing that compelled people to make such a big deal out of the
18:40Ares tour.
18:41Yes, it's a pretty freaking cool show, but you know what else is really cool about it?
18:45Everybody who comes to it.
18:47Hearing the stories about the positivity rush that people felt, talking about how they blacked
18:52out during the show and they just got this euphoric rush of joy that felt chemical.
18:57I specifically created this tour on a molecular level to make people feel that sense of escape.
19:06But to have it land like that, you're like, yes.
19:10I probably spend more time looking at the audience than I do looking at the show.
19:15It's really fulfilling and her outreach and the fan base and community that she's grown.
19:20What more could you ask for in a career?
19:22Every person in that audience hopefully is being shaped positively in some way by something
19:35that they see or something that they hear or something that they feel during that three
19:39and a half hours.
19:40The 22 moment stems from a hat that I wore on the Red Tour.
19:48So I wanted to really bring back that moment of just kind of like have a moment with a fan
19:55where I actually like get close with them.
19:58What's so interesting about that moment every night is I never know what kid I'm going to meet.
20:15I've got people in the audience scouring the crowd for the first couple of eras trying to find a kid
20:21who knows every single word to the songs and having the time of their life at this show.
20:27Because that kid basically is like a representative of every kid in that crowd that night.
20:32It could be like a little kid that gets really shy when all of a sudden they're seeing 60,000 people
20:38for the first time.
20:38Or it could be there are kids that just like bloom under the bright lights
20:42and they're just like, oh my God, I'm a pop star now.
20:44It's always so wild to be like in this moment with this person that I've never met before,
21:04this little kid.
21:06And everything's going on around us and somehow we're able to just like have this moment
21:12be completely between us.
21:14We're just kind of like meeting each other and everyone else kind of disappears for a second.
21:26It just reminds me why I do it.
21:36The hat girl, the kid got the hat.
21:39Okay.
21:39The hat girl really like shook my reality.
21:44Like I came up to her, I hug her and she goes, is this real fun?
21:49And she really was wondering.
21:51And I was like, and it just made me be like, actually, I don't know.
21:58Do you know what I mean?
21:59And here we are.
22:09The last day of the tour.
22:11The heiress tour is coming to an end today.
22:14Let's see how many of you are going.
22:18Show them.
22:19Oh, wow.
22:23I hope you guys have an amazing day.
22:26If you're friends with a Swifty, please call them and check on them and make sure they're
22:39okay today.
22:40Because today is the last day of the heiress tour.
22:43And we are in mourning.
22:44I'm not ready.
22:51I'm not ready.
22:52I can't believe the end is here.
22:54What she did, like, I had to have the air tour ever.
22:59I have met so many amazing people and made so many new friends over this.
23:07Don't let anyone make you feel small or make you feel silly for being sad right now.
23:12You're not grieving the loss of some silly little pop star performance.
23:20You're grieving the loss of a big event that gave you joy and distraction and hope and camaraderie
23:26at a time where it feels like none of those things should be able to exist.
23:30Last day.
23:45Oh, my God.
23:46I hope the fans know that this has been her giving them everything she had.
23:57Guess what day it is?
23:59Sunday.
23:59And she never stops writing music.
24:03So they have more to look forward to.
24:06But right now, I hope they honor that little bit of time just for her.
24:11Happy last show.
24:12It's the last one.
24:14It's the last one.
24:16You got the game on?
24:17Yeah.
24:18Yep.
24:18I think that after this tour, it would be nice to grow back some of the things that
24:25I've had to cut out of my life.
24:27You just don't have any energy for anything that seems optional.
24:33Hey, Erica, guess what?
24:34Happy last show day!
24:35Yeah!
24:35You beat me to it!
24:39Happy last show day!
24:40Oh, my God.
24:43I cannot believe it.
24:45And so I'm interested in regaining some of that, because I know I used to have hobbies
24:50and, like, a personality outside of this tour.
24:53I can't remember what they were.
24:55I'll let you know.
24:57Oh, my God.
24:58Oh, my God.
24:59Oh, my God.
24:59Go for it.
25:00Please!
25:02Thank you, sir.
25:03I need them to keep running away with this.
25:06So this is your last day, but we're watching football.
25:08Did you ever think this was going to be a good thing?
25:09I never thought that you and I would talk about sports in my life, ever.
25:13I thought, I mean, it hadn't happened by the time I was 32.
25:16I just kind of waited.
25:17Get another touchdown, get another touchdown.
25:21Ah, ah, ah, ah!
25:23Damn it!
25:25This is amazing.
25:27I know.
25:29Well, but you can keep that on.
25:31I can prioritize both things.
25:36Baby, I'm just a girl on a mission.
25:39But I'm ready to fly.
25:45I'm alone.
25:46That's pass interference.
25:47Did they get a flag for that?
25:48Trust me, mine is better.
25:50Get this verse down, please.
25:52We need love.
25:54But all we want is danger.
25:56We team up.
25:57Throw it!
25:58So excited.
25:59Ah!
26:01Touchdown!
26:02Yes!
26:02Yes!
26:03Oh, shit.
26:05If this goes my way, the kind of day I'm about to have.
26:09Miss, I remember this moment
26:15In the back of my mind
26:20The time we stood with our shaking hands
26:25The crowds in stands went wild
26:29You held your head like a hero
26:33On a history book page
26:39Was the end of a decade
26:44The start of an age
26:48Long live the walls we crashed through
26:56How the kingdom lights shine
26:58Just for me and you
27:00I was screaming
27:02Long live all the magic we made
27:06Bring on all the pretenders
27:09That one day
27:11We will be remembered
27:14Have an idea
27:20Instead of the end of a decade
27:23Say
27:23It was the end of an era
27:26What?
27:27Instead of the end of a decade
27:28Say it was the end of an era
27:30That's a great idea
27:33It was the end of a decade
27:35No, it was the end of an era
27:38Of LBM
27:39The start of an age
27:43The only thing that's left is the manuscript
27:50One last souvenir from my trip to your shores
27:56Now and then I reread the manuscript
28:00But the story isn't mine anymore
28:06Oh, that's a gorgeous way to finish it
28:09Right?
28:09Yeah
28:10So it goes
28:11Long live verse and chorus
28:13New year's day verse and chorus
28:15Manuscript bridge
28:17Into long live bridge
28:19Into the down verse of long live
28:21Into
28:22Please don't ever become a stranger whose laugh
28:24I could recognize anywhere
28:26Into hold on to the memories
28:28They will hold on to you
28:29Into long live chorus
28:31But slow down to halftime
28:33With the new year's day chords
28:35Underneath it
28:36Into
28:36The last verse of the manuscript
28:39Okay
28:40That's complicated
28:41Play, play, play, play, play, play
28:45Hey, hey, hey, hey
28:47Hey, hey, hey, hey
28:48Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:49Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:50Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:50Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:51Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:53Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
28:53This tour has completely pushed the boundaries of excellence.
29:15What's unique about it is that it's not just one genre of movement or music,
29:19it's a variety of things that allows me to showcase different sides of myself.
29:29It's a reminder that we're multitudes. We have all these aspects of our personalities that get
29:34to come out within the show and it helps people connect with it even more.
29:42It's truly been the most special thing that I've been able to be a part of.
29:49I've been preparing for the end of this for about six months. Every single day I've known we're this
30:01much closer with this. Like I've been very in the moment about knowing how much closer we were
30:06getting to the end of it. I think the football game is like taking my mind off of any kind of like
30:13nerves I have. We use the mechanisms we have at our disposal at the time.
30:25And then blitzing what you saw at the end of the ballgame. So there's no good answer on the other side of the ballgame.
30:37I've been holding my breath for a year and eight months, just hoping that we'd be safe,
30:52we wouldn't be injured, no harm would come to the tour. For me it's just overwhelming. Just feeling thankful.
31:12Okay, is it time for me to get my little outfit?
31:24Thank you all, darling. You smell good. Thank you all. It's my show set.
31:42Taylor's impact is limitless. A lot of this I would have never imagined for myself.
31:55She has celebrated us and our moments in such big ways that her fan base knows us by name.
32:04That does not happen for dancers. Because you did that, the type of people that are showing up
32:13are of different sizes, are of different ages, are of different races, are of different background
32:17experiences and can come to this show for three and a half hours and feel the same. You leave it
32:24different. You leave it better. You leave it warmer. You leave it more giving, more kind, more tolerant.
32:32And that is the stuff of legend.
32:36A few away from top five all the time, four, two without a pick. But you see,
32:42those Charger fans, you've made the trick.
32:45A lot of them wearing that powder.
32:46So, artists, honey, three nights at these times, and the last time.
32:50Break a leg. I love you.
32:54Is it time? Yeah, it's time.
32:56Mom. Mom. Yeah.
32:58Did I do this thing? No.
32:59Here you go. I love you.
33:01Have a good show. See ya. See ya.
33:03See ya.
33:07One last time.
33:08One last time.
33:13One last time.
33:29All right, okay, you guys, I want to say that I'm constantly reminded of one of my favorite
33:44quotes, which is that everyone's jealous of what you've got. No one is jealous of what
33:50you had to do to get it. Everyone likes to talk about phenomenons like the heiress tour
33:57almost as if it was pieces falling into place in some sort of destined accidental confluence of
34:05events that just happened, right? When I'm thinking about the people that are in this circle,
34:11I don't think about it as pieces that fell into place. I think of each of you as like tectonic
34:17plates on the earth. And the heiress tour wasn't when all the pieces fell into place. That was just
34:23when every single one of us who had done so much work to where this tour was just when we all
34:28clicked together. We have traveled the entire world. We've gone through America twice. We have set
34:34every attendance record in every huge stadium. We have broken every single record you can break
34:40with this tour. The only thing left is to close the book for one last time.
34:45Do you know that?
34:47I love you!
34:49Thank you so much.
34:52Alright, let's go out there and-
34:54Fuck shit!
34:55Fuck it!
34:56Fuck it!
34:57Ah!
34:58Ah!
34:59Ah!
35:00Ah!
35:22Alright, let's go out there and answer the questions at the end.
36:08It's been a long time at home
36:25It's been a long time at home
36:38A long time at home
36:46Yesterday
36:54I went to didnt open
36:55It's been a long time
36:58I will if there is a long time
37:07Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
37:37Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
38:07Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
38:17Taking hands, the crowds and stands went wide
38:22You were the kings and the queens
38:27And they read up for names
38:32It was the end of an era
38:37At the start of an age
38:42You held your head like a hero
38:47On a history book page
38:52And I was screaming lonely
39:02The walls would crash through
39:05How the kingdom lights shine just like me and you
39:09I was screaming lonely
39:12All the magic we made
39:14Bring on all the pretenders
39:17One day
39:20We will be remembered
39:25And hold on to the memories
39:32They will hold on to you
39:35Hold on to the memories
39:38They will hold on to you
39:40Hold on to the memories
39:43They will hold on to you
39:50The only thing that's left is the manuscript
39:55One last souvenir from my trip to your shores
40:00Now and then I reread the manuscript
40:05But the story isn't mine anymore
40:11This is my favorite part of the new year
40:16So I want to fly
40:18To the new year
40:19I want to fly
40:21To the new year
40:23From my proberwolves
40:24To the new year
40:34I want to fly
40:35The new year
40:37I have very clear distinctions about being the leader of this show that's this mass exodus of
40:59emotional catharsis. What's interesting is like there's some joy in the show but there's also a
41:07lot of like snarling angry bitterness despondent heartbroken wistful theatrical magic and I think
41:18being able to feel those things and scream those lyrics there's something that brings you joy in
41:23doing that. People come to the show who have different lived experiences and have different
41:28beliefs and we can have these moments of connectivity. I think it's about passion and I think it's
41:34about the show being accepting of all kinds of passion that we feel throughout our human experience
41:40there's something so unifying about that.
42:04I'm used to doing tours that are successful. I've never been a part of a phenomenon before.
42:34I love you. It's history. Girl, did it. I love you so much.
42:58I love you. I love you. Thank you so much.
43:05I love you. She's one. It's been such a good day.
43:14It's been such a good day. Thank you. It's good.
43:16Yeah.
43:18We did it!
43:23We did it!
43:36Oh my god.
43:38We really all did it.
43:41You have to just take life, you know,
43:44one era at a time, see what happens.
43:48Honey, when I'm above the trees
43:52I see this for what it is
43:56But now I'm right down in it
43:59All the years I've given is just shit
44:02We're dividing up
44:04Showed you all of my hiding spots
44:08I was dancing when the music stopped
44:12And in the disbelief I can't face reinvention
44:18I haven't met the new me yet
44:27There'll be happiness after you
44:31But there was happiness because of you
44:35Both of these things can be true
44:38There is happiness
44:41Past the blood and bruise
44:45Past the curses and cries
44:49Beyond the terror in the nightfall
44:53Haunted by the look in my eyes
44:56That would've loved you for a lifetime
44:58Leave it all behind
45:00And there is happiness
45:05There'll be happiness after me
45:08But there was happiness because of me
45:12Both of these things I believe
45:15Believe there is happiness
45:18In our history
45:22Across a great divide
45:26There is a glorious sunrise
45:30Dappled with the flickers of light
45:33From the dress I wore at midnight
45:35Leave it all behind
45:37Leave it all behind
45:39Oh, leave it all behind
45:40Oh, leave it all behind
45:42Leave it all behind
45:43Leave it all behind
45:46And there is happiness
47:18I bought a ticket.
47:21She's dancing in her garters and fishnets.
47:24Fifty in the cast, zero missteps.
47:27Looking back, I guess it was kismet.
47:31I waited by the stage door, packed in with the autograph.
47:35Hounds barking her name, they're glowing like the end of a cigarette while she came out.
47:40I said, you're living my dream.
47:44And she said to me, hey, thank you for the lovely bouquet.
47:51You're sweeter than a bitch, but you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
47:57And you're never, ever gonna wait.
48:01The more you play, the more that you pay.
48:03You're softer than a kitten, so you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
48:09And you're never gonna want her.
48:13She was a menace.
48:15The baby of the family in Lennox.
48:18Her father whored around like all men did.
48:22Her mother took pills and played tennis.
48:24So she waited by the stage door, asked the club promoter a ride.
48:30She said, I'd sell my soul to have a taste of a magnificent life.
48:34It's all mine.
48:35But that's not what showgirls get.
48:38They leave us for dead.
48:42Hey, thank you for the lovely bouquet.
48:46You're sweeter than a bitch, but you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
48:51And you're never, ever gonna wait.
48:55The more you play, the more that you pay.
48:58You're softer than a kitten, so you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
49:04And you're never gonna wanna.
49:21You're softer than a이션, babe.
49:23But you're coming soon.
49:24Whatever.
49:25You're 호y and you're not laughing.
