00:00In this movie, we are playing filmmakers, and so in a way, we are playing ourselves.
00:07It was very close to home.
00:10It's these friends that are going out to make their dreams come true,
00:15and that's how I feel every time I go out to make a movie.
00:17It's like, here we go, making dreams come true again.
00:21Well, we were saying, you know, in the movie, we grew up together,
00:24and the thing that we used to do when we were kids was make movies.
00:27We had, like, a camcorder. We used to make little goofy things,
00:31and that is absolutely something that I did when I was young, and I loved.
00:38I had a camcorder, and I would make things for, you know, with my friends.
00:42So I really related to that part, and that certainly, you know,
00:46as we were playing these parts and talking about them, like, oh, yeah, I know what that is.
00:51And that's very near and dear to my heart.
00:54Listen, real talk, real talk here.
00:56It's my turn.
00:57It's my turn.
00:59We didn't really have any pranks or practical jokes,
01:01but here's the trick.
01:03Anybody out there, People Magazine listeners,
01:05if you really want to know the trick of it,
01:09it's, this is going to sound dumb, have fun with it.
01:12And it's like, oh, that's simple. That's easy.
01:14That sounds like fun. What a lucky guy you are.
01:16Here's the thing.
01:17Try having fun when there's 100 people on the crew,
01:20and they're up against the time limit.
01:22You don't have time to take too many takes.
01:24Have fun in that situation.
01:25If you can, it's not easy.
01:27If you can find a way to relax and enjoy those stressful moments and have fun,
01:33then that's the art.
01:34That's where you, that's where the good baby, that's where you get the,
01:39and hopefully it creates something special on the screen that people can enjoy.
01:46That's it. That's the goal.
01:47I love horror films, and I love comedies.
01:51And to find a way into both of those genres in a nice, perfect, yummy, yummy mix mix,
01:57get that peanut butter and jelly,
01:59get those two flavors that taste great together,
02:01that's a, that's a special thing.
02:03I was, I was really thrilled to get the opportunity to do something original like that.
02:08Time.
02:09Time.
