00:31overseas diplomats, an unusual and controversial step that critics say could fundamentally reshape

00:38U.S. diplomacy. Diplomatic sources confirm the recall targets career foreign service officers,

00:47professionals traditionally kept in place after elections to preserve continuity and neutrality

00:53abroad. Several current and former senior diplomats described the move as highly irregular,

01:00raising concerns that loyalty to the administration is now being prioritized over experience.

01:08The administration has long vowed to dismantle what it calls the Deep State. Critics argue this

01:15recall amounts to a purge of seasoned civil servants, replacing them with figures seen as ideologically

01:22aligned with the White House. Officials, however, insist the move is lawful and routine. A senior State
