00:00Jackson Dart goes 7 for 13 for 33 yards in an interception.
00:06He was sacked five times, 27.4 QB rating.
00:13Do you pull him for the last two games?
00:17That's a debate, right?
00:20That's why I hate the tanking talk when people say just tank, tank, tank.
00:23Because then you have games like today,
00:25and games like today are demoralizing for guys like Jackson Dart
00:28where he's getting hit every time he drops back,
00:30where guys are dropping his passes.
00:32These are the kind of games that stick in your head where it's like,
00:35now I'm getting rid of the ball a little faster
00:37because I don't trust what's in front of me.
00:39Now I'm thinking a little differently when I throw into coverage
00:42because I know that receiver might not catch it
00:44and he might tip up for an interception.
00:45I think some of that bravado we saw from Dart before his concussion,
00:49that fearlessness, that wasn't there today.
00:52He didn't trust what was in front of him.
00:54And so games like today when it's just like lose out, lose out, who cares?
00:58It doesn't help a young quarterback to just lose out
01:01and have these terrible games where there's nobody in the stands
01:03and the people that are in the stands are just booing him.
01:07And look, we'll see what Andrew Thomas' injury is.
01:09If he shuts it down, I wouldn't sit Dart.
01:14I think every game that he can play will help his development.
01:16But games like today don't help his development at all.
01:18If Andrew Thomas is down, I'm sitting Jackson Dart down.
01:21Yeah.
01:21And I will play Jameis the last couple games
01:25and then, you know, activate Russ to be that second quarterback.
01:29I'm sorry.
01:29I know people can be like, oh, that's a loser mentality.
01:32I'm not saying tank.
01:33I'm saying protect the future.
