Transcript
00:00You know, somewhat of a bittersweet game.
00:06I thought we played a really good first half in some ways.
00:09Gave a couple explosive plays defensively in the second half.
00:13I don't think we played at all close to our standard.
00:16Credit to JMU for figuring some stuff out at halftime
00:19and not credit to us for not being able to sustain
00:22and play the way we need to be able to play down the stretch.
00:25You know, I think our team realizes this is a growth moment for us
00:28and an opportunity to continue to improve and get better,
00:30but we're going to have to play better football
00:31to be able to reach our goals when it's all said and done.
00:34You know, there were some moments that really showed up,
00:35obviously special teams with a block kick, block punt.
00:39You know, there were some big plays there.
00:41But to not be able to come out and have the same success
00:43in the second half that we had in the first half
00:45is certainly disappointing,
00:46and I think our players will certainly learn from that.
