Gonda (UP): A 25-year-old engineer, Abhishek Srivastava, was found hang₹^& inside his house on Friday, days after being released on bail in an alleged false criminal case. Police said a su!₹^e note recovered from the spot blamed a married woman and her husband for pushing him to take the extreme step.
Abhishek’s family alleged that he was in a relationship with the woman, Sonal Singh, who along with her husband Ajit Singh, allegedly extorted about ₹7 lakh from him over six months. When Abhishek tried to distance himself, the woman allegedly lodged a false complaint accusing him of blackmail, leading to his arrest and jail.
After his release, the couple allegedly demanded ₹10 lakh to withdraw the case and continued to threaten him. Unable to bear the pressure, Abhishek pinned printouts of chats and call records on his wall and died by su!₹^e.
City Kotwali SHO Vivek Trivedi said an FIR has been registered against Sonal and her husband under sections related to abetment of su!₹^e, and both have been taken into custody. Further investigation is underway.

00:45Unable to bear the pressure, Abhishek pinned 35 printouts of chats and video calls as evidence and died by s**t on 17th December 2025.
00:57Police have registered a case of abetment s**t and taken Sonal and her husband, Ajit, into custody.
