00:00That's the ones you're looking forward to.
00:02And this weekend, it starts tonight.
00:04Number nine, Alabama will go to Norman to face Oklahoma.
00:08And then the big one that Tyler's going to tomorrow is A&M will host the number 10,
00:15Miami Hurricanes, Tulane, Ole Miss.
00:17They will go at it again.
00:18There you go.
00:18I see the Canes and Ole Miss.
00:21And then James Smith, Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium coming up tomorrow as well.
00:30Which games, which games, 713-572-4610, YouTube and Twitch,
00:34which games of the Saturday slate are you looking forward to the most?
00:37Which one for you, Clint, of these games are you looking forward to the most?
00:41Oh, it's easy, baby.
00:43The U at A&M.
00:45Miami at Texas A&M.
00:47That's the game right there, man.
00:49You got a transfer quarterback that's paid a million plus with an offensive line.
00:56It's one of the better offensive lines in the country that can protect the quarterback.
01:00And then you got A&M, who is tied with Oklahoma for the most sacks this season.
01:05They are an absolute bear defensively.
01:07They got the dudes.
01:09And so that offense, Miami offense against the A&M defense is going to be must-see TV.
01:14I think when you flip it over on the other side, you got Mario Cristobal obviously has the defense in Miami playing well.
01:22But this thing's about Marcel Reed, man.
01:24And, you know, teams that have forced him to play from the pocket and not let his legs be a big part of the game have had success.
01:32You look at what Marcel Reed has done, you know, recently with almost the last four games, I think he's thrown for damn near 1,000 yards and rushed for 250 yards or something like that.
01:42He's been a monster lately.
01:43So, you know, we'll see.
01:46I think it's a hell of a matchup, man.
01:47I, you know, I'm rooting for him, man.
01:50I'm rooting for A&M.
01:52I'm rooting for Marcel Reed.
01:54This is big.
01:56I mean, you got the –
01:57I got A&M in this game.
01:58Do you?
01:59Like, not just your rooting for him, but you got –
02:00Yeah, I got A&M in this game.
02:04Look, I'm coming in one of the toughest places in college football to play.
02:08That's a big part of it.
02:10And I think A&M's the better football team.
02:12So, I think you – I think Miami's going to have some problems there.
02:15And I think A&M wins this game.
02:16But that's the one to watch.
02:19When you talk about – you know, in this field this year,
02:23when you talk about, you know, home field advantage,
02:25and obviously as we get beyond this first round, we get to the bowl games.
02:29But when you talk about home field advantage, there's not one better
02:32that's going to have more of an impact on a game
02:35than where Miami's got to go in College Station at Kyle Field.
02:38So, yeah, man, I think this is – that's the game right there for, you know,
02:44for me personally.
02:46Yeah.
02:47Tyler, I know that's the one for you.
02:48How – because I like A&M in this game.
02:52Honest to God, though, how are you feeling?
02:54Like, what's your feel of this game going into it?
02:57Yeah, all ish talk aside, I feel really good about it.
03:00I feel like this defense is going to thrive against the Canes.
03:03I'm not scared of Beck, like whatsoever, especially given the Aggie defense.
03:08And I think Marcel Reed's ready to go when they answer the bell
03:10after losing that game to the Longhorns.
03:12And show us what they showed us all year long outside of that game.
03:16Yeah, my concern is if Miami can run the football.
03:19Like, there have been some teams, if they're able to slow down that pass rush
03:22from A&M, if they're able to run the football –
03:26and some – South Carolina had some success early in that game
03:28in running the football, which helped them get to that lead that they blew.
03:32So, that's really the only thing.
03:34But if they continue to get, as you said, back in that offense in third and longs,
03:38and those boys can rush the passer, it's going to be a problem.
03:44It's going to be a problem.
03:44No, I'm kind of bugaboo for the defense, for the Aggies to stop in the run.
03:48So, yeah, I completely agree there.
03:50Yeah.
03:51I'll be honest with you, fellas.
03:52I am really – I'm really looking at the two games that involve the non-Power 5
04:00conference teams.
04:01I am really looking at the Tulane-Ole Miss.
04:04They've already played this year, and Ole Miss beat the hell out of them,
04:07I think 45-10.
04:09And then James Madison at Oregon.
04:10I'll be honest with you, I'm not overly impressed by Oregon.
04:15This hasn't been – like, when I think Oregon, I usually think offense, high power.
04:20They haven't looked like that, although they've got a really talented quarterback.
04:25They haven't looked that way this year.
04:27And I think this is just big for those non-Power 5 teams.
04:31I have no problem with those two teams getting in, especially the way they got in.
04:37Like, we know one is going to get in, but a lot had to happen to get James Madison in.
04:42And to me, if that's what they've got to go through, where the ACC gets stupid
04:48and the way they have their tiebreaker situation, and then the whole thing failed
04:54where Duke won the conference and all that, like, it all – everything had to go right
05:00to get two of them in.
05:01And I'll be honest, I just hope they have a good showing because I do think they're going
05:06to try to do something to minimize the chances and opportunities for teams.
05:10It's already hard for two to get in.
05:12I think they're going to try to make it harder.
05:13Well, look, let's be honest.
05:15They've already done something.
05:16The ACC has already started to change.
05:17They've already done something.
05:18I mean, you've got – you eliminated one of the Power 5 conferences in the past.
05:24Back 12.
05:24Now you've signed this contract with Notre Dame that kicks in next year.
05:28So you're giving Notre Dame, you know, that spot that was typically for your fifth
05:33Power 5 conference championship, so – or conference champion.
05:38So they've already done something, but you're right.
05:40They'll make all the moves they can to not let this happen again.
05:44And, look, I'm typically for the group of five teams or whatever they call them nowadays.
05:48I'm typically for one of those teams getting in, as I've said, and I always will be.
05:52This is an extreme situation where two guys got in, two of them got in, and it's not good.
05:57It's not good for college football when you look at who got left out.
06:01It's not in any way, shape, or form.
06:04Will it feel different if they're competitive tonight or on Saturday?
06:08I mean, my opinion would still be the same, but, yeah, I'll feel different about, you know, about –
06:12look, I'm a Cinderella guy.
06:14I would love for one of these teams to make this thing interesting.
06:17That would be – that'd be tremendous.
06:18Yeah.
06:20If they both get 30-balled.
06:23Well, the interesting part about the two games is when you look at what's going on at Ole Miss, right?
06:30I mean, you look at what's going on at Ole Miss, so you immediately say,
06:33well, there's been a lot of disruption.
06:35Yeah.
06:35They don't have their play caller.
06:37They don't have the mastermind of their offense that they typically have.
06:40So, anything could happen, right?
06:43And then, as you said, I'll be honest with you,
06:45I don't know that I've watched a snap of Oregon this year,
06:47so I don't know much about the JMU-Oregon game.
06:50But the two-lane Ole Miss has got something that could cause some problems.
06:54We'll see, yeah.
06:55Because they got their coach there, even though two-lane's coach is moving on,
06:58I think, to Florida, right?
06:59We'll see you next time.
