The giant “2026” numerals—each seven feet tall—arrive on Broadway Plaza between 46th and 47th Streets in Times Square, ready for the New Year’s Eve countdown. Together they weigh roughly 1,200 lb (the two “2”s at 250 lb each, the “0” at 380 lb, and the “6” at 320 lb) and are lit by 589 LED bulbs (145 on each “2,” 164 on the “0,” and 135 on the “6”). Officials from Jamestown, Countdown Entertainment, the Times Square Alliance, and Kia America oversaw the placement, while crowds gathered to capture the moment before the numerals are hoisted atop One Times Square for the midnight illumination. Take a photo with the numerals until December 23rd at 7am!
